- Please meet the Shaka Shuttle at Whalers Village shopping mall 15 minutes before the start of your tour in the grassy area in front of the valet/pick-up roundabout on the street side of the shopping mall where the bus pickups are. This is located behind the Tommy Bahama store in the mall.
- The address is 2435 Kaanapali Pkwy, Lahaina, HI 96761
- If you are driving to our pick-up location, please give yourself extra time to park and get to the pick-up location. There is parking available for a fee at the Whalers Village shopping mall parking structure.
- **Drinks:** - You can bring drinks but they must be in spill proof container. There is a ABC store located right by the pick up spot and has a large variety of drinks.
- - **Sunglasses** - Please bring sunglasses. The ride will be more enjoyable with sunglasses as it get windy at times.
- - **Sweater or Jacket** - Sometimes it gets chilly depending on the day, especially in the open air at higher speeds. Even though we are in the tropics, some people get chilly, so bringing a sweatshirt or jacket may make the ride more comfortable.
- **Bring Hair Ties if needed**
- **MINIMUM AGE IS 5 YEARS OLD**Minimum age is 5 years old and must be in a booster seat unless they are at least 4 feet 9 inches tall. Our tours are immersive, narrated experiences that require guests to remain seated and respectful of the shared environment. Children must be comfortable sitting for the duration of the tour and able to follow parent guidance.

Don't waste your time on this tour...more time on the road, very little time at the stops...really not much to see not even the sunset...rent a car and go sightseeing for yourself

Our late-afternoon tour is designed as a guided sightseeing experience focused on West Maui history, scenery, and cultural context, and while it often takes place during twilight hours, it is not advertised as a dedicated sunset tour or sunset stop.
Our itinerary balances scenic driving with curated stops, allowing guests to see areas that are difficult to navigate on their own while learning about the island along the way. Jimmy was FANTASTIC!!!! Went above and beyond as our tour was scheduled for 1:15 minutes. He made sure everyone had enough time to spare to allow us to expand beyond the set time frame.

Highly recommend this tour. Amazing scenic experience and very knowledgeable driver. Comfortable transport and the natural air conditioning was great on a warm day. Lyft or Uber will cost you around $US140 round trip from cruise port and about 50 minutes each way.

We were excited to find this tour online and booked with my husband and 2 kids. We spent about 2 hours visiting sites in West Maui including a coffee farm, the Banyan Tree Forest, Kapalua, Nakalele Blowhole, and ending back at Whalers Village in Lahaina. The journey was exclusively in the open air shuttle but we did stop for photos, history from our guide/driver, and a short 3-5 minute hike for fabulous pictures.

We loved the care and attention that our tour guide Joe showed. He provided rich details about the history of the island and took pictures of our family. I definitely recommend this experience. If you can do it at the beginning of your trip it’s even better because you will discover hidden gems that you can explore further on your own.

The guide was very knowledgeable and polite, he showed us many different areas as well as shared the history and some interesting facts and information that he knew of. He was very kind and offered sunglasses to every guest on the tour that did not have any due to the winds. Even made sure he slowed down so we could get great family photos. All in all very professional and a great experience.

I truly would say this was the highlight to our trip. If I would have known, I would have booked in the earlier part of our vacation, so that we could have visited a couple of more places. Joe was an awesome tour guide, very thorough and full of so much knowledge of the island. A great photographer too was a plus. I would recommend this tour to anyone who come across this tour. The price was very reasonable and well worth it.

Really enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful areas of Maui. Normally we just stay at the resort and beaches because most tours are so expensive! Im glad I tried the Shaka Shuttle and am hoping they can keep the prices this reasonable next time I come with my entire family.

I loved just sitting back and taking in the views and listening to the music. It had just the perfect amount of commentary. Sometimes I go on tours like this and the guide just talks for the sake of talking. Our guide did a great job explaining some of the things we were seeing but also allowed us to just enjoy the ride and take in the sights with good music.

Shaka Shuttle Tours is more like a ride than a tour. If you like being in the open air, this is for you! It’s a lot different than being in a van or a bus because you can feel nature more with the wind in your hair and you get to smell all of the fragrances that Maui has to offer. Would highly recommend for those wanting the full experience of Maui.

Jimmy was our tour guide and he was awesome! I would say this is more like an epic adventure ride than a tour. We cruised through the west side of the island with the wind in our hair, listening to awesome island jams. It does get windy and I did get a little bit chilly, but luckily they gave me a heads up and I brought a sweater. I would highly recommend this to anybody coming to Maui, especially for the first time.
