Also consider that is a lot of walking uphill and downhill (around 10km) so take some comfortable shoes. Cabo da Roca and Pena Palace are usually places with a lot of wind so it will be good to take something warm with you to feel comfortable.

Dimas was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable, great driver and patient! This tour has lots of hiking, don’t wear flip flops. Wear comfortable shoes or runners. Bring cash for entry to castles. We only did outside of Pena palace and the Regaleira and it was 25€ each senior rate. I recommend not going inside Pena castle. Totally recommend this tour!!

This tour was absolutely exceptional and one of the best experiences of our trip. Visiting Sintra, Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, and Cascais all in one day was perfectly organized and seamless.
A huge part of what made this tour so special was our guide, Sergey. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating history, stories, and insights that truly brought each location to life. He managed the timing perfectly, allowing us to enjoy each stop without ever feeling rushed.
Sergey was also very friendly, patient, and attentive to everyone in the group. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the day and was always happy to answer questions or adjust the pace when needed. His professionalism and passion really stood out.

This small group tour included all the must-see sights in Portugal, including the beach at Cascais, Estoril, Boca de Inferno, Cabo da Roca, Sintra, Quinta da Regaleira, and Pena Palace. Our Sintra tour was absolutely amazing! The excursion took place on a comfortable minibus, thanks to which we were able to see many iconic sights of the city without haste and fatigue. Our tour guide,Sergey, very captivatingly told us about the history of Sintra, Lisbon and Portugal. You can feel that he sincerely loves his work and knows the history of the country. The information was presented easily and interestingly, with facts, stories and atmosphere.
The whole day flew by unnoticed. Thank you very much, Sergey, for a wonderful excursion, interesting facts and unforgettable memories!

Good experience. Sergei is a patient, calm, and knowledgeable tour guide. He did not rush us and took good amount of time. We were in a group with kids and he patiently handled everything.

Our tour guide was awesome. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. Never rushed us. Made sure we saw everything worth seeing. You need to be at least somewhat fit as there is a lot of walking and stair climbing.

Perfect size group (3 couples) for this all day tour particularly for those who would prefer not being part of a large group tour. Also, getting a good tour guide is key and ours was excellent- enthusiastic, knowledgeable , energetic, friendly, funny etc. He went out of his way to make us comfortable, especially with all the hilly walking terrain. With all there is to see in Sintra, we felt the itinerary was perfectly planned to give us the best experience. Overall, an outstanding tour with major credit to our guide.

This is a fantastic excursion! We started at the quaint seaside village of Cascais where we wandered about and purchased fresh local pastries and coffee. From there we went to the beautiful cliffs of Cabo de Roca the, Westernmost spot in Europe. Those stops were great but the palaces and Sintra were even better.
We bought lunch in Sintra during our 75 minutes stay. We enjoyed octopus, Bacalhau con Natas and Pastel de Nata. Everything was delicious.
After lunch we visited Quinta de Regaleira, an amazing palace featuring beautiful gardens and a cool spot named the Initiation Well.
Our final stop was the stunning Pena Palace. Beautiful location and pretty tile work and architecture.
Every stop was great and our guide Dimas was wonderful. Dimas was knowledgable, friendly and patient and took great care of us. One of our favorite guides ever!
Our tour stretched out to nearly ten hours, due to traffic and a late arriving cruise ship, but time flew.
Be aware that this tour requires a lot of walking.

Lucia deserves 200% credit for being knowledgeable and caring. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal for the day, we all had a wonderful time. I was joined by a lovely couple on the same trip and together we discovered many hidden gems. I highly recommend this trip. Obrigada!

This is the tour you should take if you are looking for a day trip to visit Sintra. It is indeed the most complete tour! Ask for Sergey who is an excellent guide and put together an amazing itinerary and is very knowledgeable about the sights.
Sergey reached out to confirm the timing of our pickup at our hotel. Prior to us starting the tour, he outlined the day for us. First he drove us to Cascais, a nearby town for a quick visit and coffee stop. Then we proceeded to Farol do Cabo Raso, the western most point of continental Europe while seeing the beautiful ocean and sand dunes along the way.
We arrived in Sintra around noon and Sergey guided us to a good restaurant where we had a delicious meal and walked around the old part of town. Post lunch we proceeded towards Quinta da Regalheria where we spend time walking the grounds as he explained the various. After about 2 hours we proceeded to Pena Palace.
We returned to our hotel around 6:30PM so the tour was about 10 hours. The tour does not include the tickets and this is sensible as Sergey was able to obtain tickets for us for the correct timing.

Travelers should not under estimate the amount of walking uphill to actually get to the castle. Once you arrive, it is well worth the hike.

This tour was incredibly good!
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this tour, but it turned out to be one of the best days of my trip to Portugal. Sintra is like something out of a fairytale. We had enough time to explore and take photos with no rush and have lunch.
Cabo da Roca was a total highlight - and very windy!
Cascais had a laid-back vibe, and was a perfect stop for a coffee.
Sergey, our guide, was knowledgeable and nice, and the group size was just right, not too big. Smooth logistics, stunning sights, and great energy. Highly recommend if you want to get out of Lisbon and see something truly special in one day.

The sights at both locations were amazing. However, the upward hike to get to the Quinta de Regalheira was very difficult, even for very fit individuals. Provision should have been made to drive all the way up to the entrance, even if it meant waiting for the tour guide to join us (or perhaps a second guide just for that site). Travelers be warned.

This is the best tour in Lisbon, our guide Dimitri was wonderful, he picked us up at our Airbnb on time and he was very organized, he gave very detailed information for each stop and help us skip the line which saved us hours of waiting, he is so friendly and professional. I booked this tour at the last minute but it’s the best decision I made while on my first solo trip through Portugal in late October. Sergey was extremely accommodating and very knowledgeable of every single site. I learned a lot about these beautiful Castles, Cascais and honestly it was breathtaking. Excellent tour guide we had today. Lucia was very responsive, patient, communicative, and wonderful in anticipating our needs as tourists.
