Marta was a great guide. We were taken to some really cool sites in Porto. The boat tour and port wine tasting was great. Lunch was delicious.

Because of a dock workers strike our scheduled stop in Porto on our cruise was canceled. Unlike others on our cruise, we had a lot of time in Lisbon (using it as our home base) to explore outside Lisboa. With a few adjustments and searches online I decided to add a full day private tour from Lisbon to Porto. We wanted to enjoy quality time in Porto, not just a quick stop. We are so glad that we found Duca. What a top notch way to travel. Our assigned driver, Filipe was full of knowledge and pride for Portugal and of course Porto. We learned so much about Porto, way beyond its association with Port wine. We were together for 14 hours and saw much of Porto and Gaia, as we learned the roles each of those cities play in Port production. We ate a traditional lunch in one of Filipe’s favorite traditional restaurants. And we walked and walked. It was so thorough and enjoyable. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time with Marta in Porto! Marta was so kind, attentive and conscientious to our entire family and she went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. She customized our trip and even made sure we could see the most beautiful bookstore in Portugal! And her recommendation for lunch was perfect! We will be back and we hope we can spend the day with Marta again. We highly recommend asking for her specifically if you choose this experience. You will, no doubt, be taken care of like a VIP!

Filiipe Crespo is an excellent tour guide. Two of us first time to Portugal and have visited other cities- Lisbon, Fatima, Sintra, Cascais, Cabo de Roca so Porto was last itinerary on the list and decided to take a more "catered" tour-by private car. A comprehensive tour of Porto that lasted about 7 hours in Porto-walking tour, visit the food market, lunch, boat cruise, and port wine testing. This is a round trip tour from Lisbon to Porto. Each way is about 3 hours by car so 6 hours on the road. The Mercedes Benz 7-seater is comfortable. The total time was about 13 hours. Left hotel in Lisbon at 8 am and arrived back to hotel around 9 pm. it is a full agenda but well worth the money.

Our group was staying in Lisbon for a few days and we wanted to find a day trip where we can experience the culture and beauty of Porto. This was the perfect fit, as we wanted to experience a boat ride on the Duoro River and Port Wine tasting. Our tour guide, Filipe Crespo, reached out the day before to see if we had any questions - and he also arrived early at our hotel for pickup on the day of the trip. Filipe was excellent, kind and knowledgeable about Porto throughout the entire day trip. We were able to pack in shopping, pictures at various places and a recommended lunch at Restaurante O Comercial. He was patient, but still kept us on time with the other planned activities. If you’re looking to experience the best of Porto in a day trip from Lisbon, I would highly recommend booking this experience!

The day was perfectly planned, from a scenic canal tour to a delicious lunch at a fantastic local restaurant, and then an outstanding wine tour that was one of the best we’ve ever experienced. Every stop felt intentional and special.

Amazing day. Our guide Filipe was the best guide ever! So knowledgeable and friendly. He knows the city very well. Made reservations for lunch for us in a traditional restaurant.
It’s the perfect amount of time in Porto to see everything, not rushed but no too long either. The Mercedes transport was extremely comfortable and Filipe is a great driver!

This was a great tour for our family with limited days in Portugal. Felipe picked us up from our hotel and we saw the beautiful countryside in a spacious van with AC! He stopped at really nice rest stops for bathroom breaks as well. We hit the main sites of Porto and we chose to have lunch at A Cachorra for the best francesinha!! The last stop was a port wine tasting. Felipe was very knowledgeable and was so nice to take pictures of the family. There are not many tours like this but I would highly recommend this tour for a day trip to Porto.

Amazing day trip to Porto from Lisbon. Our driver, Felipe, was knowledgeable and friendly and provided many details on our tour only a local would know. His van was clean and modern.
This was a great trip for those who only have a day to spend in this beautiful city. there was a lot of walking, so bring comfy shoes

We had a great day with Filipe in the tour to Porto. It was a full day tour we were picked up in Lisbon from our hotel and taken to Porto for the day. He was very knowledgeable and made the day very interesting with all the information about Lisbon, Porto and the areas we went through. A great tour and Filipe was a great tour guide.
Be prepared to walk a lot. Approximately 8 to 9 kms.
We got to experience Porto in beautiful weather but remember it can be a bit cooler in Porto compared to Lisbon.
Highly recommend the tour.
