Itinerary

Your tour begins with pickup at your Lisbon hotel. Climb into a private, air-conditioned vehicle and enjoy panoramic views as you cross the Tagus River over the famous 25th of April Bridge. The first destination is Cristo Rei, a magnificent statue based on Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro. Capture photographs beneath the outstretched arms of Christ before continuing to Cape Espichel.

On arrival at the towering cliff, drink in sweeping vistas of the Atlantic Ocean and visit two religious shrines — your guide will provide a historical overview of the sacred offerings. See, too, several fossilized trackways created by dinosaurs and discover the legend behind how the footprints were formed.

Following the short journey to Meco Beach — a blissful stretch of sand flanked by the Atlantic Ocean — and enjoy free time to purchase lunch. Bring a bathing suit and towel in order to plunge into the refreshing waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
