Disappointing Tour with Moonshadow Tours

Unfortunately this was a very poorly executed tour. Casandra from a Moonshadow was the tour guide. She never really spoke, just drove us. Would drop us off at sites and we walked around ourselves. We had to pay for lunch (25 Euros). She was wrong about our tour price, didn’t make any reservation for a wine tasting. finally found a winery and also did the wine tasting and then drove which we felt was NOT appropriate. None of the other tour guides participated in drinking. The van was supposed to have WiFi which didn’t last as she said the battery had died on the way back. Very disappointed in the whole experience

Amazing Guide Made Our Day

Our tour guide, Katerina, was so graceful and did such a wonderful job tailoring our tour to our desires. She went with us at each site, providing interesting historical information without the overkill factor of some guides that do not know how to stop talking! We enjoyed the ruins of Evora and Monseraz. We had some left over time at the end. She made a few calls for us and was able to get us a private tour of a cork factory, which we so wanted to do. It was so interesting and the least expensive place to buy cork products that we found in Portugal. Two thumbs up!
