The self guided tour was informative , but we stopped listening and ended up exploring on our own. Fascinating experience for this first time traveler to any castle. A lot of stairs and steps. Not for the out of shape.

Worth the climb! Go early for little crowds

Go early, got there at 9.00am no queue! And had the place all to myself. Surreal feeling. The free roaming peacock make it even wilder! Worth the climb up for sure. Make sure to download the tickets via email before you go.
