Yvonne was lovely! She was bubbly, chatty, informative and genuinely such a lovely person.
We had a fun and interesting tour full of history, funny stories and of course... Pie!
3 different stops to try different styles of in-house variations carefully picked by Yvonne/her team.
We had a very windy day and she was always conscious of not stopping somewhere too windy/cold. She gave us pointers of places to visit on the rest of our trip as well to explore on Key West itself.

This walking tour was the perfect slice of Key West—sweet, relaxed, and full of local flavor. From the very first stop, it was clear this wasn’t just about eating key lime pie (though wow, did we eat some excellent pie), but about understanding the history, rivalries, and passion behind it.
Kim was knowledgeable, funny, and clearly loved Key West and its food scene. We visited several spots each with a distinct take on key lime pie—from classic and tart to creamy and frozen. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, and the pacing of the walk was easy and enjoyable.
Between bites, we learned about the origins of key lime pie and how this humble dessert became such a defining symbol of the Keys. It felt like a delicious mix of food tour, history lesson, and friendly stroll.
If you’re visiting Key West and want an experience that’s uniquely local, not overly touristy, and genuinely fun, this tour is an absolute must. Come hungry and be prepared to leave with a strong opinion about what makes the best key lime pie!

One of my and my wife's personal highlights of our trip to Key West. Our guide, Kim, took us along the waterfront for key lime pie samples and lots of great information on local history and culture, especially on the influence of the shipping and sponging industries. Kim was super friendly and could not have had better visual aids and answered our many questions. This was a great introduction of the varieties of key lime pie that exist in Key West, and we could not have had a better and more friendly guide. Highly recommended.

This was a fabulous tour! We tasted 3 different types of key lime pie and 2 key lime cocktails. Everything was delicious. Our tour guide, Yvonne, was amazing. Highly recommend this tour!!!

Yvonne was lovely and gave us lots of information about the local area. Then she took us for 3 different Key Lime Pie experiences and it was good to have a variety to taste. Wasn't too filling which was good but still adequate portions. Finished off with a Key Lime drink which was also very nice. Very enjoyable if you love Key Lime Pie!

Yvonne was so knowledgeable about the history behind the key lime pie, in which I didn't even know there was so much specific history behind it. She also knew about how the different restaurants around Key west got their start in making their own version of the Key Lime pie and is able to let us try them to find the differences between them, without exposing their secrets. I will never forget about the pies, (and also drinks) I had on the tour and it is something that will make me go back to key west. She also threw herself into traffic for us :)

What a fun little tour! Our guide Kim provided an informative but casual afternoon strolling the seaport area. And who wouldn’t love sampling key lime pie for a few hours?! We scanned available tours of Key West- and many were bar crawls. We could bar crawl on our own any day, but where could you crawl from one key lime pie to the next? Our tour guide was excellent. She provided historical notes of Key West as we walked our route and more importantly the history of the key lime pie and its many variations. Ended with a great taste of the liquid version. We actually kept up the judging of each restaurants pie by eating one with every dinner.
Definitely recommend!

Yesterday we spent a super fun two hours with Kim on the Key Lime Pie tour. You start basically at the Seaport and walk to 4 different key lime establishments, where you try 4 different key lime variants (3 pies and 1 drink). Along the way Kim takes you through not only the history of key lime and the pie, but also some of the history of the town, the population, and the seaport as it relates to key limes.
It was such fun. We have been to Key West a few times and were looking for something a little different. This turned out to be just what we were looking for.
Kim was big fun, and super knowledgeable about the subject. We especially liked the way she brought her iPad with her and showed us old pictures of famous people, events, and establishments of Key West key lime as we traversed the streets. And we could not believe it but while we were at the most famous Key Lime Bakery… Kermit’s… Kermit, the founder and owner, by chance was there, and we got to meet him and get our picture with him.
You really should book this if you are looking for something a bit different, but super fun and interesting. She keeps her tours to 10 people or less so it feels special and you can always hear.
Bottom line. We had a blast.
