As night descends on sunny Key West, your tour of the island’s spirited sites and haunted history begins. Meet your local guide on Greene Street, get your souvenir t‐shirt and steel yourself for a walk through the Old Town. Admire the nocturnal nature of this historic center, where enchanting nightlife mingles with what lurks in the shadows.
Stop at the Hard Rock Café, a bar that occupies a former mansion with tragic histories. You’ll also pop into Captain Tony’s Saloon, one of Ernest Hemingway’s favorite watering holes that at one time doubled as a morgue. At each location, hear spooky tales from your guide and enjoy a drink or two (own expense) in the company of fellow travelers and supernatural buffs.
Between stops, discover other creepy histories that permeate the island, including the story behind Key West’s former name, Cayo Hueso (‘Bone Island’). By the end of the tour, you’ll have the sinister behind‐the‐curtain look at this island paradise!

The tour guide was extremely rude. Right from the start, the story telling was very boring and long winded.

Dear Kurt_K, Thank you for your feedback. We’ve looked into this incident with our guide and team. Prior to the tour, our guide explained to you that extra, unpaid guests could not tag along with the group out of fairness to all of our paying customers. Unfortunately, when your additional non-ticketed guests joined the group anyway and created noise during the tour, our guide had to address the disruption.
We hold our staff to high standards, and while we regret that you were disappointed, our guides must enforce our policies to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone on the tour. We stand by our team in ensuring fairness for all of our guests.

Only stops at 2 bars however the story is incredible. Gene Beach was my tour guide and did an amazing job at telling us the classic Key West Legends and making us all feel comfortable while doing so. Would definitely recommend if it’s your first or 100th time visiting.

Our guide was fantastic! He kept us together and didn’t start the story until everyone was gathered together. I was very impressed with his knowledge of haunted Key West and especially enjoyed his recommendations for places to eat and drink. We went to one of the places the next day and it was beyond expectations! My only negative comment is that some of the stories were also told on the hop on hop off trolley tour. He went farther in depth and was fabulous in his presentation. The commemorative t-shirt is a great touch.

Awesome walking tour with some history and haunted tales. I think travelers would be interested to know there are several other tours or museums etc that pair well with this tour so you can see artifacts from the true stories told to us. Also, be careful! It’s so easy to lose track of time having too much fun down there in Key West. Our tour guide Gene Beach was amazing - great stories and jokes to keep it lighthearted, some topics are expectedly dark!

I signed up for your and guy I appreciate him with Robert Beach was very informative and provided a lot of history and information about Key West. If you take this tour, you will find out a lot of strange but interesting facts. Key West is one of the second most haunted cities. in the country, he take you to lotta interesting places and describes to you the history behind it a lot of stories if very interesting you also see where the Keylime pie was created. Robert Beach is a very informed person and where we met at Captain. Jack’s was a very interesting bar. Some of the things you will learn is kind of eerie and just say unusual and be on a lot for Robert the doll

Lots of history here. Although our guide was nice, she would lose her crowds interest. I’ve done this tour 3 times. Our first guide was out of this world! Same guide on the next 2 trips and it definitely suffered by comparison
