- Wear a swimsuit, light cover-up, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Plan to get wet. This is a barefoot tour unless a medical condition requires footwear; please inform your captain in advance
- Please bring a towel, reef-safe (non-spray) sunscreen, a light rain jacket, water-protected camera or phone, and any required medications or allergy/insect protection

The overall tour of the Na Pali Coast was absolutely amazing! 🌊 The boat tour was a fantastic experience, with breathtaking views, beautiful scenery, and an unforgettable adventure on the water. The snorkeling was also a highlight, with beautiful clear water and an amazing opportunity to be in the ocean. The crew was so much fun, friendly, and full of great energy. They made us feel welcome, and really went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. Their enthusiasm and knowledge made the trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this boat tour to anyone visiting Kauai—it’s definitely an experience you won’t want to miss! The best part was the dolphins. The crew was very friendly and informative. Ocean was a bit rough on the way back but the boat handled it well. Great experience and we would highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed this experience. The scenery was fantastic and amazingly beautiful. We saw a bunch of dolphins ❤️❤️❤️. Me and my husband had a great time. The crew was friendly and so accommodating. The only thing I will say is be mindful that this tour is very bumpy bc of waves.

We signed up for this tour because of the access to the Na Pali coastline and snorkeling. The week we went to Kaua'i, there was a high pressure in the North Pacific, kicking up some strong trade winds. So, the snorkeling was meh. But, the coastline of the Na Pali coast was so beautiful. We even got a bit of sun to highlight the cathedrals.
The crew, Kai and Aaron, plus Josh the captain were great, attentive, and helpful throughout the trip. Even the little things like locking the bathroom door as we stumbled back to our seat because of the rough waters, was noticed and appreciated! Plus, keeping our Mai Tais topped up was fantastic!!

We did the 2 pm boat ride, which included snorkeling, a tour of the Na Pali Coast, dinner, and drinks the entire time (Mai Tais with dinner and sodas/waters/juices throughout the trip). We didn't know this at the time we booked this trip, but it was also a sunset cruise, so we came back after dark, and it was spectacular! If you have a really bad back, I would advise against this, as the water, at least on our day, was very choppy from the wind and could have been rough on your back. We got wet the entire time, which was super fun, so I highly advise bringing a towel or two and perhaps a jacket! The crew was nothing short of hilarious, kind, knowledgeable, safe, and fun- they truly made the trip! I would 100% recommend this trip to anyone looking for a wild adventure and looking to see the Na Pali coast from the ocean; we would definitely book this again!

This was a great experience and the crew were fun, funny and hospitable. We had a good tome snorkeling and seeing the coast. The only thinb I would caution folks, nothing against the company at all, is that if you are not sure about the water or your ability to ride the waves, think about it because its 5 hours 😂 But if you go sit in front for best experience!!

The captain was informative and experienced. He took us through the waves and to Na Pali. He shared the rich history of the area—good music to Na Pali. Even better music coming back. The crew was very attentive to snacks, meals, and drinks.
Note: There is drawer to keep dry cloth above the ground. The ship had good grippy floor to walk bare foot.

Loved every minute of it! Comfy ride, amazing views, knowledgable and friendly staff that care of the history and lore of the island. We saw tons of dolphins, but not much snorkeling.

Great tour and beautiful views! Guides were sweet enough to stop whenever we saw wildlife and we saw pods of dolphins multiple times. I would recommend if you get seasick to bring medications and take beforehand!! Very rough waters, not for the faint of stomach

Fun barefoot cruise with an excellent captain and crew. Great scenery, interesting tour guide and lots of opportunity for photos and awe inspiring views. Expect some choppy waves around the west side - best prep is a little Dramamine and to remember to relax and not tense up when the boat hits the waves. Found a pod of Pacific bottlenose dolphins and a large pod of spinners. Great time overall and highly recommended.

Due to weather we were unable to go to the Na Pali coast and really the southern part of the island is not very exciting. There were boat issues and mooring issues and when we finally got to snorkel it was really rough.

We spent great time this Imiloa Express - Na Pali Snorkel Tour. I forgot the name of captain but he was nice, and the mai tai cocktail and the foods were really good. We saw dolphins, sea turtles and great waves and gorgeous views. Thank you!

Good experience, but two complaints. The morning (7:45) tour arrived at the Na Pali coast at high noon, so it was really hard to see anything. If you get seasick (the tide is worse in winter months), it would be worth the surcharge to do a catamaran charter instead.
That said, it was a good experience! The crew and music made the day fun. We saw probably 50 dolphins. The snorkeling was phenomenal.

The crew was great and we had a beautiful day! Unfortunately, the rain from the days before had murky-ed the waters so we couldn't snorkel there. Our alternative snorkel spot was underwhelming, but we can't control the weather.
The crew definitely made the most of it, including jumping/diving off the roof of the boat. :)
Food and drinks were good. Word to the wise: bring additional food! We had expected our breakfast sandwiches would be served around breakfast time, but they weren't handed out until after 12pm, so we were uncomfortably hungry.

The office staff and boat crew are amazing. They were so accommodating and conscientious about everyone’s needs. Their knowledge of the island and Na pali coast was amazing and fun to learn. The views were amazing. They found animals for us to engage with and really had a great time with us! Captain Josh, A ARon, and Kai made my whole family feel welcomed and safe.
