When the guide arrives, they will verify your name or phone number. After picking you and other hotel guests up, the guide will take you to our Aurora Glass House.

Be patient as it does take time to see the Northern Lights. Your guide will call everyone out to see when displayed. I went in February and it was cold so dress warm and bring hot warmers to keep hands warm.

Our tour guide, Michael, was prompt, friendly, and very helpful, especially when it came to taking photos for us. The glass viewing house itself is new, spotless, and beautifully warm — a huge advantage in the cold. What really stood out was the flexibility: we could relax inside with clear, panoramic visibility, then step outside instantly when the lights started dancing more intensely. That balance of comfort and immersion made all the difference. Experiencing something this magical without battling the cold allowed us to fully take it in. We left feeling both amazed and grateful — it’s a night we won’t forget.

It can get quite cold, and there is no telling what nature will give you but you are likely to get a good show. They do a great job in having you in a safe and warm place to view from or stay warm between lights.

We had such a great experience on the Aurora Glass House Northern Lights tour! It was super convenient—only about a 30-minute drive from our hotel, and the pickup and drop-off made everything stress-free.
The small group size made it feel really personal and comfortable. The Glass House itself was a perfect setup, with snacks and warm drinks available, which we definitely appreciated in the cold. Our driver/guide was amazing—friendly, attentive, and really made the experience special. He kept a close eye on the sky and made sure to alert us every time the northern lights started to appear and dance, which was incredible to witness.
We also loved that we could warm up inside the house whenever we needed, without worrying about missing anything.
The only small critique is that the tour ran a bit long at the end. The lights stopped about an hour before the tour wrapped up, so we ended up just waiting around while feeling pretty tired. That said, it didn’t take away too much from an otherwise amazing experience.
Overall, I would absolutely book this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone hoping to see the northern lights in a cozy and well-organized setting! We received the photos from the evening the next morning. Such a treat!

It's a pretty straightforward experience. The host picks you up at your hotel (if you select that option). It's a 35 minute drive to the aurora house, and the guides will take pictures and you can take video and such on your phone. For the night I went, the aurora was visible at 10:30 pm and 2 am. So there can be a gap between sightings.

The glass house is warm and stocked with snacks and drinks. The hosts made sure we knew when it was a good time to go outside and happily took pictures. The ride was fairly short from Fairbanks

They delivered, saw the Aurora as soon as we reach the glasshouse and it was spectacular- there were snacks and hot drinks while you wait inside the house and the organizers were really good at making sure everyone got a good view of the lights and every party got photographed, clean restroom .
The photos were sent early in the morning- definitely recommend!

While the concept is a good one, the execution was not. It was nice to have a house to stay warm in. However, the experience itself was not professional, disorganized and certainly wasn't friendly. And, this night seemed to be overbooked. A little work on bedside manner would help. We say this compared to a previous tour which was just the opposite.

Idea is nice. You can sit inside and see the aurora through the windows but doesn’t really work. There were no instructions given on how things would go and no warnings the light were being turned off. It made it hard to get organized and settled. The room was very crowded and people keep turning on their phones creating light that reflected on the windows making any view of the aurora impossible. Having instructions and more time before to get settled would have helped. Also second room for people to do things on the phone would have been very helpful. Indoor viewing didn’t work so had to go outside to see the aurora anyways.

They picked us up and it took us to the house, so we didn't have to worry about driving. There were snacks available and the viewing was beautiful inside and outside. The house was kept comfortably warm annd there was an indoor bathroom in the house also. The hosts kept people advised when the Aurora was visible and gave couragement and instruction on how to photograph with various phones and cameras.

It was an amazing experience, the glass house is located at cleary Summit, the place is in higher elevation and perfect for Aurora Viewing in your comfort zone. The glass house has snacks and sitting till your guide call out to go out for the Aurora…. We loved the experience, will do it again with them. I can fully recommend them.

From pick up to return, was above my expectations. The house itself is well thought out. Plenty of comfy seats , large windows for a great view, tables and seating for board games, clean restroom, snacks and warm drinks. We didn’t need the games because the night sky treated us to the magnificence of the aurora. Host photographer took many beautiful photos of the guests with the aurora backdrop. It was a well worth the time and $

Location at the summit is great!
Some things to know: once the Aurora is going they turn out the lights. Those with sight issues in the dark should take note. Most of the house will be candlelight only
My experience: driver was a little quiet but was very kind with aurora photos. But he was friendly, just don’t expect a ton of aurora info if you are looking for that. I was not sure if he also brought along someone as she didn’t say anything. So that was a little odd.
Overall, I recommend this tour. Comfy, small group- and photos! Great price

Why is this the best aurora viewing location? Because you are able to sit in a warm building atop a hill with amazing views all around. The staff are amazing- letting you know when the aurora is visible so you can go outside and take pictures. They also will rake a picture of you with the aurora. They have drinks and snacks too. They pickup and drop off at hotels in town. Full service. When everyone settles into comfy chairs facing the windows, the lights are dimmed and we quietly wait for the aurora. We had amazing viewings most of the night. Lots of great photos. Five stars.

The operators of the glass house are exemplary. There is adequate seating, including end tables, all facing out the 3 glass walls of the building. Heaters set to 68 degrees make a comfortable setting. There is a nice snack area with coffee, tea, cider, cocoa, fresh baked goods and packaged chips. There is a clean indoor bathroom.
The most enjoyable part was the welcoming hosts. Despite the darkness within the building, she seemed to know exactly which groups had gone out to have their picture taken. She had an understanding of the northern lights and would announce to the room what the lights were doing or were likely to do. She roamed around like a party host making sure all guests were attended to.
He (I am sorry I did not get names) was ready to go with his camera every time the lights filled the sky to take pictures of the attendees which were delivered to my inbox promptly the next morning.
Lastly, I had dropped my debit card. They contacted me immediately and delivered it to a agreed upon location in Fairbanks for me to pick up.
This team does Northern Light viewing right. I highly recommend.

The entire experience was excellent, from the reservation to retrieving of the photos they took of individuals, couple and group. The glass house was impeccable, seats were comfortable, nice variety of snacks available for all to enjoy. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable on the timing of the lights. The van was clean & comfortable. The driver played a brief recording about the aurora borealis. Definitely very reasonable price for all the individual attention that was given to each person that evening. Thank you for making our first experience memorable. All the best.

Stella is an amazing host! After a short drive to Cleary Summit we arrived at the Glass House. It was comfortable with fabulous views. We were escorted outside, and assisted with photographing the Northern Lights. ANAZING!

Transportation was great! Our driver was attentive! Snacks were great and plentiful. Chairs comfy but low. Needed to remind cell phone users not to use flash! Bathrooms were clean. Room was warm but make sure you have enough on to go outside to shoot. They had some tripods available to use. Staff was very aware of guests needs. All this for a night that the Aurora barely turned on. They were very vigilant and spied a small area. I would book again. Pu from hotels very smooth. Michael our driver was very good.
