The springs were wonderful..especially with it snowing!! I would skip the ice museum..most of the sculptures had melted due to issue that summer and not fixed.
We were only 2 in a larger goup of people & it felt like we were forgotten. We were so scared the driver would leave us that we made sure to go up & ask that he please not leave without us since he was catering to the larger group.

Andre was awesome, he looked after all of us and gave some great advice. Loved the Ice Museum and the tour guide. All in all great experience and would recommend it to everyone.

Tour was ok. We enjoyed the hot springs and the guide tried to find the aurora for viewing but the weather did not cooperate. This was the last of many excursions we did in Alaska. All the other excursions had guides who gave commentary, explained how everything would work and generally engaged with the participants. This guide was more of a driver who dropped us off and picked us up. We were disappointed by the lack of information provided.

Our tour guide Andrew did an excellent job! We would definitely recommend hot springs and ice museum! Unfortunately, we did not get to view the Aurora because of clouds. The restaurant at springs was also great!

Not a bad experience, the springs were a little outdated and needed some renovation. The ice museum was pretty cool. It was raining and cloudy so no Aurora but that's mother nature's fault.

The ice museum and the Chena hot spring was a great experience. I enjoyed the tour even though we didn’t get to see the auroras because it was a bit rushed at the end of the tour and it felt like they wanted us to be dropped off.

We enjoyed this tour so much! Mike, our guide, as well as Drew, from the companion van, was great! They were attentive to our needs, made it convenient to store our items when not needed, gave us great tips and hints to make the evening go smoothly, and were fun to talk to. This was a great tour!

A short Fairbanks visit, I wanted to try and see the lights, though not simply book an aurora tour, cramped in a crowded shack in case too cloudy. I settled on this excursion, which included the Chena Hot Springs with the ice museum on the property. Although the light Gods were unkind, this trip was fun. The company sent several texts, including a helpful one that provided the hourly itinerary. Guide/driver was the very friendly Andre who guided us through each step, and was attentive to our needs, making sure nobody was left behind or lost as there were hours to explore on our own. A little over an hour drive in a large, comfy van to the springs, the first adventure was the ice museum. The knowledgeable Chena guide for that was Lexi, who is a hoot, the very cold museum pretty cool to see. (Tip her, please.) After that was the short walk to the hot springs. Yes, the locker room is very (very) tight. (Bring 2 quarters for the lockers.) Still, plenty of room in the hot springs, and neat little stuff such as water spraying here and there. Caution that in some areas the water is extremely hot (think boiling lobster), though easy to feel and avoid. Following that some met at the restaurant. In the waiting area before the ice museum many people tried to get tickets, and were advised they have been sold out for days. Nice that our trip had tickets. Also, a secluded area, I could not pull up the GPS, as I had wondered if guests of three or more may save money by simply renting a car and driving out there, making sure all was booked in advance. Still, less hassle for me, a solo traveler, in having a quality tour company handle all that, navigating the dark roads, too. The overall trip was an enjoyable seven hours.

Great experience, the pick up was smooth the guide was friendly and knowledgeable and the hot springs and ice bar/ice museum was beautiful and the hot springs were awesome highly recommend if your solo or with a group aurora in Alaska are the best guides out there

Enjoyed the Ice Museum. Glass made of ice for Appleton was really special. Restaurant was very good. Service was great. It was especially nice to see the Northern Lights on the way back

The Ice Museum, The Thermas and: we saw northern lights at the end. I did not go into the springs water but enjoy seen them. It is recomended to bring water shoes, bathing suit, getting out of the water clothes and towels.

Kevin is probably the most personable guide my wife and I have had the pleasure to go on a tour with.
The food at the restaurant is good, a little pricey, and offered a good selection.
Hot springs is great. On the return to Fairbanks the Northern Lights made an appearance. Kevin took photos and emails them a few days after the tour.

My sister and I had an amazing trip in Fairbanks Alaska. We booked some excursions with other companies that canceled because there were not enough people. We were so worried that this one might cancel. I am happy to say that even though it turned out to be just my sister and I, we had the van to ourselves and had the complete VIP treatment from Triston. Tristan did an amazing job giving us information about the Hot Springs and what to expect. Keating found us the best spot for parking. He directed us to the ice museum and recommended the apple Teenies which were amazing. My sister was drunk on one. We then were directed to a gift shop and a place to grab dinner. The food was amazing. Once we were done we proceeded to the locker room and onto the Hot Springs. I have arthritis and a lot of joint pain and within an hour I was pain-free. The waters were amazing. I was concerned about running around in a bathing suit when it’s so cold outside, but it was not an issue at all. When we were done tristan took us to a few locations to look at the Aurora . He also shared some of his pictures with us. He’s an amazing photographer and a great tour guide. Thank you Tristin for an amazing trip!
