Travel south through interior Alaska, stopping in the historic railroad town of Nenana and watching for wildlife along the way. Depending on conditions, visit the Denali Winter Visitor Center or the historic sled dog kennels, then continue as far along the park road as weather and snow allow. Enjoy a relaxed hike if trails are clear, or go snowshoeing for an easy winter adventure. This is a 1.5 mile mini mushing activity that circles our property through black spruce, alders, and birch trees. The actual sledding time is 15-20 minutes. Full activity time is 1-1.5 hours. In the beginning we will go over how to ride on and in your tandem dog sleds. Once we have this out of the way we can create some noise and meet the dogs! While you enjoy kisses and hugs from your loving huskies we will harness and hook up the team. Once hooked up we will head out onto your trails around the property with great views from high on a ridge. There are ample opportunities for photos along the way and plenty of cuddle time when we return to the kennel. The Kennel visit will take place either before or after your sled ride, dependent on weather, the dogs, and your guide's schedule.

Amazing tour guide and photographer!

Not only were we graced by the lights, but Nathan captured us in stunning photos so we weren’t stressing over figuring out our cameras. Nathan was a fantastic tour guide and photographer! The hot pizzas and cookies on a cold night were a treat too. We took another aurora tour with a different provider the night before and were in a huge group crammed into a tight cabin with light coming out of it and people flashing their flashlights in our eyes while they tried to figure out their cameras to capture the lights. Instead, Electric Moose provided a very small group of only 10 people, so it felt like hanging out with a few friends, and Nathan had individual time with each of us to capture all sorts of gorgeous pics in his expertly-located remote secret spot where there was minimal light and beautiful scenery that made our pics stunning. Nathan was so enthusiastic it was contagious. Our group was sharing pics and marveling at the lights together all night and although the temps were low and winds high, Nathan’s heated tent provided the perfect toasty warming shelter. We woke up later in the day to the spectacular album of pics. This tour made for a once-in-a-lifetime night for us and we absolutely recommend it!

This was my second time...

This was my second time booking this activity. Getting to the location was fairly easy, snacks and drinks were provided, and you get to see the beautiful auroras. This is a great activity for everyone and doesn’t require having to hike up anywhere. 10/10 recommend.

Great experience, knowledgeable hosts!

It's a pretty straightforward experience. The host picks you up at your hotel (if you select that option). It's a 35 minute drive to the aurora house, and the guides will take pictures and you can take video and such on your phone. For the night I went, the aurora was visible at 10:30 pm and 2 am. So there can be a gap between sightings.

Our Bucket List Accomplished.

Cole, Joy, David were our incredible guides. Their knowledge and photography expertise made our bucket list experience so worthwhile. They took many wonderful photos to capture this surreal and spiritual experience. They did not give up until we saw the beautiful Northern Lights. Worth every penny. We couldn't have accomplished this in our own. Highly Recommended.

An experience with having

Kevin was very amiable and informative. The pace was good. Chena restaurant service was very, very slow. I think they were short staffed. The salmon was overbooked for my taste, not with the price. The hot springs were relaxing, though the walk from the bathhouse to the spring in a swimsuit at -30°F was brisk to say the least. On the way back Kevin helped us find two spots to view the Aurora. We had some good luck. You can't plan that. We got back very late, but it was with it.
