Beautiful views of the waterfront with details of history and each of the buildings while relaxing and sipping on a beverage! The fireworks were amazing and the 3D glasses took it to another level! Highly recommend for all ages!

On several occasions you will just be sitting for long periods of time for know apparent reason. The actual trip maybe 20 mins fireworks maybe 15 mins the rest you’re just there doing nothing. Tour guide was knowledgeable. Fireworks was beautiful no need for 3D glasses they just made fireworks look blurry.

Great way to see the fireworks! Bring a sweatshirt. The staff was pleasant and professional. Olivia was hilarious. Bring cash if you want to tip them at the end of the excursion.

This experience was really cool. The boat was clean. There was a bar downstairs that had alcoholic choices, but no hard alcohol. Beer and wine. They also had some non-alcoholic choices. The tour guide did his best to give info to us and he kept his professional demeanor and humor as the crowd was talking loudly and getting up to take pictures. It was a very low-key setting. There were other boats on the water like the First Lady, but they were playing loud music and people were up dancing and drinking. Looked like a lot of fun, but not for me. While we waited for the fireworks to start, we were fascinated to watch a fairly large spider spin webs and catch huge amounts of the little flying bugs around the under railing lights. It was super cool. The crew passed out 3D glasses before we left. My advice is to use them; it was amazing! So, just sit back with a beverage, enjoy the ride, and bask in the glory of the fireworks display. Highly recommend!

Go early to get a better seat. The spot of the ship for the firework is very good so make the firework more spectacular. Staff are friendly. Great experience

When planning our trip to Chicago, everyone told us we had to do a boat cruise to see the fireworks… Boy, they were right! The First Lady 3D fireworks cruise did not disappoint. Not only were we right under the fireworks display, but we also got to learn about the architecture that makes Chicago Chicago. Our whole family enjoyed this experience, and we would definitely do it again.

Very boring.. the host was annoying and talked the whole time, they basically only had beer and water to drink, there were BILLIONS of bugs both on and in the boat making the experience unbearable. I was so ready to leave! The promotion said that it was supposed to end at 10 and we were basically held hostage for an extra hour and 30 mins!! Did I mention they only played … and this is no harm to anyone but.. white people music.Fireworks were mid too.. NOTHING 3D about that but the cheap glasses they handed us. I’m upset because it was my birthday and didn’t get the experience they promoted. I WONT be back.

It was very relaxing. Beautiful views of Chicago. The 3D glasses were cool too. However the bartender doesn’t make drinks. They only have high noons, beer, and wine.

First, the boat was late taking off because people were too slow getting on. Then we leave and 15 minutes later we were stopping and for 45 minutes. Then we get to where the fireworks were, and while they were great to watch, they were only 10 minutes, then after the fire works, we start to head back but then we had to wait 45 minutes for other boats. This wasn’t really a 2 1/2 hour boat ride, mostly sitting idle not doing anything. My friend and I were justifiably upset

Once the boat departs from our dock, we head straight to the harbor lock in an effort to stay ahead of the heavy boat traffic heading out to view the popular fireworks display. However, during peak times, especially around the Independence Day holiday, we can sometimes encounter more congestion than usual. While the fireworks display lasts about 10 minutes, it’s actually quite a substantial show for that duration, and many guests find it to be a memorable highlight of the cruise. We appreciate your understanding.

They may want to know that it could get a bit chilly, and also that the music is whack. Even had commercials or ads playing, it would have been more lively if more upbeat music. However the Tour guide was very good and rather informative.
Also the 3D glasses are unnecessary, as they didn’t provide a more enhanced fireworks show at all.

Chicago sky line was beautiful. Very romantic once we got to Lake Michigan. I do recommend taking a jacket or small blanket, it got chilly.
