Our tour guides were a fantastic wealth of information, gave us a ride around a track, and all the info came from an actual Iditarod racer and family! We met a team of their dogs, a retired racer, and puppies! It was unforgettable, and we couldn't recommend enough! The entire experience was surreal and seeing the love they have for their dogs is also so heartwarming. Book it!

What a great time getting to experience one of Alaska’s great treasures- dogsledding!! Robert and Jae have raced at the highest levels of competition and were more than willing to share their expertise with us. Their energy was only surpassed by that of their dogs who wanted nothing more than to pull us in a buggy suitable for dry terrain. After being whisked around the track, we were able to meet and pet all of the dogs, including Yoda and Leia- two of their puppies aptly named, having been born on May the Fourth. We highly recommend you go see Robert, Jae, and all of their dogs for a safe, energetic and family-friendly adventure in Anchorage!!

We had the best time talking with Robert and Jae! We booked the 3pm tour last minute and were the only people in the group so we were able to chat with them in depth. The dogs were fantastic! So sweet and so strong! I don’t know if we had more fun or the dogs! Would highly recommend! And we had the opportunity to meet some 15 day old puppies who were angels. Definitely worth our time!

Amazing experience. Knowledgeable crew and shared a lot of history that I would have never known. My kid throughly enjoyed it.

    A must do in Anchorage!!

We were so glad that we booked this experience! Prior to this, we knew little to nothing about mushing and dog sled racing but Robert & Jay answered all of our questions and gave us a wealth of information about the sports history. We especially loved meeting the dogs & getting to experience sledding first hand. We had 4 children with us ages 3-10 and they haven’t stopped talking about how much fun they had. We can’t recommend this enough!

    Exceptional

Robert and Jay are exceptional. This guided dog sledding tour is awesome. Very informative. We met the Alaskan Huskies and we were allowed to take time for pictures and spend time with the huskies to meet them one by one. I highly recommend 👍👍👍

We loved the overview of the history of mashing. Our guides/owners welcomed all questions. The dogs were so approachable. Our summer "sled" experience was fun. Wish it could have been a but longer because it was so fun. I highly recommend experiencing this adventure.

    Exhilarating Experience

    Karen_T, Jul 2026
Jay and Robert explained a lot about the history of mushing and the Iditarod, as well as how it relates to their family. The dogs were sweet and the pups cuddly. The ride was exhilarating and I can't imagine what its like to do in snow, especially in competition. The dogs are geared up and ready to go. It was a very fun experience that I'd highly recommend to all ages!!! Well done, folks!!!

So glad we did this tour. It was very informative and you could tell that the couple leading the tour were passionate about dog sledding and welcomed any questions. They took us for a short ride around the track. We went during a very warm June week but the dogs were still eager to take us for a ride. We also go to hold some pups.

Must do! Cool ride, cooler dogs

This was so cool! I love how we got to know about each dog, the stories were awesome! I can’t wait to do this again next time we are here. Purple was the sweetest to our 10 year old son! ❤️

    Well organized and personalized!

My sister and I were 2 of 4 on our tour. We learned about the use of dogs in Alaska's early days, the Iditarod, and in sled racing in general. Experiencing the "sled" ride and meeting each of our 11-dog team as well as some pups were the highlights of our trip! Very well organized and personalized! Well worth the $ !

This was a great experience. The owners were informative and they clearly care about their dogs. Their demonstrations showcase their personal connections with the dogs and mastery over their sport. The owners are experienced not only with the dogs, but with the history of racing, which shows in their clubhouse displays.

    Great experience 😊
