It was nice to be able to go fishing with my wife, who is not a "fisher-woman" by any means. The guide was very patient and helped to instruct us both in flyfishing techniques. He even picked us up from our VRBO location which was awesome and drove us about an hour out of town with one other couple. I just wish I would have caught something. My wife on the other hand did great and caught 3 fish, so she had an amazing time. But we stayed in the exact same spot in the river the entire time. After about 2 1/2 hrs in the same spot I did get to move to another location just upstream, but the water was moving too fast and had almost no clearing to work the line. None the less I had a wonderful experience and learned a lot. I would definitely recommend for novices like myself. I also recommend wearing 2 sets of socks.
Incredible day! Ryan was the best guide! He is so knowledgeable about fishing and was attentive to our needs the whole trip. 10/10 recommend!

Ryan was great! He was very accommodating- making sure we were able to stop and pick up last minute items, very informative and conversational, patient with the first-time fly fisher and we all caught fish!! Highly recommend!

Everything was smoothly executed from pick up to drop off. The day on the river was everything we wanted and Ryan was wonderful as our guide. He was always ready to help and introduced us to a lovely stretch of river that produced fish. I would book again without hesitation.

Ryan showed us a great time fly fishing and was very patient and considerate with us. He did whatever he could to try to get the fish to bite for me. My husband caught numerous fish so it may have just been me. Lol
My daughters and I had a great experience!. Tim was very patient with the three of us on our adventure. He made sure that we were comfortable and successful in our endeavor and provided interesting conversation during the trip. It was worth every penny.
Ryan was an amazing guide!! He gave us the total Alaskan fly fishing experience! We never fly fished before, but he taught us the ropes! He made the day fun and comfortable for us. If you have any interest in fly fishing, this is the perfect tour!
