Our tour guide, Frank, was awesome. He was very knowledgeable, engaging, witty, courteous and friendly. He took great care of everyone as we navigated our way through the stones, boulders and hiking trails. He had a lot of local insights and additional trivia that were interesting and appealed to our diverse group. He kept our group going at just the right pace. I would very much recommend this tour, especially with Frank as the tour guide, to first time visitors to Joshua Tree National Park.

Homes were saw, stories and photos shared and info on each property was very interesting and well delivered. Most homes are from stars of prior generations which we expected, but there are a few pleasant surprises.

Fabulous time

I was traveling solo to Palm Springs and saw drag and fly across the street from the spa. I looked it up online and liked the reviews and thought it sounded fun. When I got there, they were so warm and welcoming that it put me at ease. and I had a fabulous time learning about beautiful palm springs. I would recommend this tour to anybody who likes to have fun and wants to know a little history about Palm Springs.

On Top of the World

The ride up was terrifying, but not unexpected for me. The bumps over. The towers took my breath away. As did the views of the valley below. Wow! Ralph, our operator was very good about giving us a heads up where we would feel a lurch. At the top, it took about 5 mins for my heart rate to return to normal. But the views were worth it! We planned our trip so it was still light out but we would also see the valley lit up at dark. A great move. We had an adult beverage to give me some liquid courage for the ride down. I wasn't necessary. Gil kept us entertained on the ride down with sing along music and disco lights. I have been to PS many times but this was my first trip on the tram. Because of my dislike of heights, I am not likely to return, but I will recommend it to everyone who visits.

Austin did a great job of providing us with information about the area including a lot of fun side stories. The park is amazing and the scenery is spectacular. We seemed to hit the ‘hot spots’ in the park very efficiently. We went mid-October and there were no crowds which made the day perfect!

Incredible Experience for All Ages

I cannot recommend this experience enough. We had a group of 9 total with 4 adults and 5 kids ages 8-12. We all absolutely loved it. We had fun and we learned a lot. They pointed out many constellations, showed us several amazing sights through telescopes, including Saturn, the moon, and galaxies. They answered all of our questions, and the kids also had a great time and learned a lot. Cannot recommend enough!

Just book this trip!! It started off with being picked up at our resort, and we didn’t have to think about anything else except enjoying the experience and the beautiful park. Spencer was just the best guide. He was so knowledgeable and tailored our trip just for our group. It was clear that he loves the park and sharing it with others. RON, our guide was extremely knowledgeable of the Palm Springs area, the valley, geology and fauna. The drive to Joshua Tree was engaging conversation and informative. Inside the park, Ron took us to areas we would not have known to go if we visited on our own. He explained the medicinal value of plants that grow in the. We heard 'folklore' and the history of Jushua Tree. Highly recommend for a first visit.

We have been to Palm Desert many times, but never tried this tour before. Since we had friends visiting we signed up & I’m so glad we did. It was fantastic. Marv is an amazing guide- very knowledgeable and so good about taking photos for us & answering questions. We were really fortunate to have spent the morning with him! I would highly recommend this experience.
