Fastest crossing and closest harbor to Ni'ihau! Your crew will be Nick and Jessie. We are experienced captains and snorkel guides.Visibility is usually 100’s of feet, and you are likely to have close encounters with Hawaiian Monk Seals! Sharks, bait balls being hunted by predatory fish, manta rays, and walls of butterfly fish are common. We will also tour Lehua Crater, an extinct tuff cone volcano and now a seabird sanctuary that is home to at least 16 different species of seabirds. In between snorkel sessions we serve lunch and do a tour of Lehua Crater, pointing out all our favorite seabirds and showing off the beautiful “Keyhole”. We usually look for dolphins, whales (december-april) and manta rays as we do a mini tour around the Lehua crater.

Certified divers only. Ni’ihau is known for being the best scuba diving in the state of Hawai’i! The scuba diving sites have vertical walls with seemingly endless bottoms and crystal clear visibility. Large wildlife sitings are common and include sandbar sharks, Hawaiian monk seals (found no where else on earth), walls of butterfly fishes, and manta rays. We do two dives. Jessie will be your dive guide underwater to keep you safe and point out wildlife! In between dives we serve lunch and do a tour of Lehua Crater pointing out all our favorite seabirds and showing off the beautiful “Keyhole”. We usually look for dolphins and manta rays as we do a mini tour around the Lehua crater. The boat ride to Ni’ihau is around one hour. The ride home is anywhere from one hour to an hour and 45 minutes depending on weather. The commuting time to Ni’ihau and back is almost half the time compared to other shops! Book with us if you want experienced crew, small groups and a shorter, faster boat ride!

By far, the best luau of all the luaus we’ve been to!

We’ve been to about four luaus in Oahu, Maui and now Kauai. This luau, by far is the best of all. We were impressed with the food variety and quality, all the performers, emcee and staff. A covered patio with ocean view. Parking is included. We highly recommend this luau at the Sheraton Coconut Grove.

Best day ever

I cannot express how amazing this tour and the tour guides are. The most amazing views and the guide gave us some history with each stop but not so much that you felt like a it was a history tour which was nice. All the guides were very accommodating and went out of their way to make sure everyone was cared for and had the absolute best time. We were even lucky enough to see a huge pod of dolphins!

Breathtaking Nā Pali Coast Tour — Hearing the Whales Sing Was Unforgettable!

I know this review is a little late, but I absolutely wanted to recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kauai! The views of the Nā Pali Coast were absolutely spectacular—truly some of the most breathtaking scenery we’ve ever seen. The snorkeling was fun, but my absolute favorite part was something I will never forget. Because of the time of year we went, we could actually hear the whales singing underwater while we were snorkeling! It was such an incredible, almost surreal experience. Being surrounded by the beauty of the Nā Pali Coast while listening to whales sing beneath the water was truly magical and something I’ll remember forever. Highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful adventure for our anniversary!

Our guide Kai was a very warm friendly and knowledgeable native Hawaiian. He made the journey so fun and was very careful to make sure that everyone was safe. This is a local family owned business that put their hearts into their work. Highly recommend them for this amazing adventure. The hike is doable for non-athletic people but come prepared to get dirty and have hiking sandals that can drain easily.

MORE than I was expecting

I went to a Luau on the main island at 16, and it was awesome but this was completely different. I was NOT expecting that. It’s a whole production, the talent of the people who are in this show is astonishing!! The way the blend the history, with authentic heritage and theater is really amazing. At first we were really just looking for something more mellow and we wanted to get as authentic experience as possible, but this place gives you what you may for. Excellent food, free drinks, and and AMAZING show.

Family ziplining adventure

We had an amazing time ziplining! Jadin and Grace were our guides, they were knowledgeable, friendly and made the experience so much fun. Without question it will be a highlight of our trip to Kauai, something we will all always remember. We all got to fly on the zip lines and even got a great picture with a dinosaur. A truly fantastic time and an amazing memory for all of us. Plus we just mentioned what we were doing the rest of the day and they were quick to offer suggestions on places to stop at to make our day even better. Cannot recommend the adventure and Jadin and Grace enough! 5 stars for sure!

I would mention about the...

I would mention about the chances of seeing dolphins or whales in the afternoon like we did is nil in the summer so, it's better to reserve for the 0700 tour. I chose not to snorkel that day because it was a little chilly and like rush-rush for a 71 yr old woman like me. I like to take my time snorkeling and just enjoying it.

For my husband’s birthday on 7/24 we decided to fly with Mauna Loa Helicopter Tours doors off adventure over Kauai. While my husband had flown before, it was my first time. I was quite nervous, but more from excitement. I was the one who chose doors off. We checked in at the NEW LOCATION at 3748 Ahukini Rd. Lihue, HI 96766. Kalei welcomed us and gave us our time to come back to get ready for our flight. She then directed us to a lounge with restrooms across the street. Preflight preparation with Kalei. First, we watched a short safety video. Next, we strapped a flotation device around our waists. Kalei had us remove our phones from their cases to properly secure them in a holder with a wrist strap. Then we waited on the front bench for our pilot. Within moments, our pilot WALT, walked over and greeted us with a big smile and a hearty handshake. After chatting with Walt, all my fears vanished. He was happy, friendly, and confident. He truly was a cool guy that you do not mind hanging out with for an hour in helicopter. He shared lots of interesting facts about the island and we had a lot of fun laughs. Walt as a pilot was gentle but effective with necessary safety information. His instructions were clear and easy to follow. Getting in and secure was remarkably easy. The flight itself was smooth. We did have some light rainfall during the flight which made for a spectacular rainbow. The entire experience was magical. If you want to know what we saw on the tour, you will need to book the tour and find out. You will not be disappointed. If you end up with Walt as your pilot, you are in great hands. Have fun! Best Luau in Hawaii

One of the best luau's in the entire country it was amazing and the experience and the culture and the food was divine. The drinks are complementary and the blue Hawaiian and the mai ties are fantastic. Breath taking! From the thrill of being in the (doors off) helicopter to the stunning views of the canyons, waterfalls, shoreline, and crater the entire experience was (is) exceptional. Our pilot (Reed) was FABULOUS! Knowledgeable, calming (doors off - is an experience!), kind, and above all a superior pilot. Viator is a great outfit. We highly recommend them.

A must-do experience when visiting Kauai.

When visiting Kauai, taking a small six-person seater plane tour is a must. There’s plenty of room to look out of both sides of the windows, offering stunning views of the coastline, including Poipu Beach, coffee farms, the Na Pali Coast, Tunnels Beach, Hanalei Bay, Princeville, and the beautiful waterfalls in the middle of the island. With so many scenic locations to enjoy, this experience is definitely worth it, especially for the price.
