It was a long day , but both cities were beautiful. Olga our tour guide was fabulous, the lakes were beautiful, and the scenery spectacular. We didn’t have great weather and it rained all day, but we still had an amazing time. Also we had a great bus driver.

Budapest!

Really enjoyed this day trip to Budapest. It was a long day, but definitely worth it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative, especially about the history of Budapest and the places we visited. The tour was well organized and gave us a good mix of guided sightseeing and some time to explore on our own. Budapest is a beautiful city with incredible architecture and so much history.

Beautiful views of Austria and Sound of music sights.

Excellent day with Peter, our driver, who was a great driver and tour guide through out the trip. He was friendly, engaging and kept our day on time. Highly recommend this trip to see sights from the filming of The Sound of Music. Saw gorgeous views of Austria en route to Salzburg. Our guide in Salzburg was very informative and engaging as well but it was hard to hear her at times with the noise of crowds and construction.

A must do tour

We rode the train from downtown Vienna to the palace, and it was easy to do. There’s a stop right at the palace. Our guide Daniela was wonderful. She knew a lot about the family who lived in the palace and gave great insights on our tour. The gardens are extremely large and you could spend two days exploring the gardens alone and they are very beautiful. I would recommend it even though we did not have time for that. There’s also horse and buggy tours that will take you through the gardens if you choose.

Excellent Day Tour of Bratislava and Budapest

Great day exploring Bratislava and Budapest! The vehicle was very comfortable, and though it was a long day, there were stops throughout and so many interesting sights. The guide was very friendly and accommodating, asking for any requests the day before. It provided a wonderful opportunity to see these capital cities, and I look forward to returning to Budapest to see more!

Very well planned and organised trip. There were a couple of stops on the way for using toilets and having food with plenty of time. Smooth journey to the beautiful Halstatt. Our guide, Mark, was very organised and attentive. We had plenty of time in Halstatt and went to see a castle by the lake as well. Brilliant experience.

Dieter, a fantastic and knowledgeable guide.

Dieter really did a fantastic job in telling the story of Adolf Hitler and his association with Vienna. He took plenty of questions on the tour and had answers to them all. The pace was slow and comfortable everything was explained in detail. We both learned a lot on this tour especially about Austria's involvement in both world wars especially the links with Hitler.

Charming trip to Hallstatt.

Hallstatt is a charming and lovely destination. We didn’t realize we would be traveling on a large bus with 60 people but at the end of the day we must admit the bus was comfortable, clean and smooth! The arrangements were timely and there were adequate breaks. Our guide Olga was kind, precise and educational. She always had a smile and was so helpful. Hallstatt is a very small town and so many people visited it each day. It makes one wonder if they will limit the visits at some point. So happy we saw it. We also did the one hour boat ride there and we would recommend that too.

A perfect quartet

We arrived in Vienna today and had this concert booked as our first activity. The setting of St. Anne's church is absolutely beautiful and sets the stage for the music of Mozart and Beethoven. The Lerchenfeld Quartett features two violins, a viola, and a cello. They fill the venue with perfect music. We thoroughly enjoyed the performance and would recommend it to everyone.
