- Skip-the-line tickets to Schönbrunn Palace guarantee entry at a reserved time. The 22-room tour is exclusive to official Schönbrunn partners; not available on the spot.
- Free access to Schönbrunn Gardens may be restricted in winter, as the gardens are not green or lit up (especially in the evenings). Book a morning tour for the best experience. In case of extreme weather conditions (such as snow), the outdoor tour may be altered for the safety of the guests. From 08.11 to 06.01, you will have a chance to visit a local Christmas Market instead.
- There is no Sisi exhibition at Schönbrunn, book our Hofburg tour.
- Commentary will be provided only in 1 language, as selected when booking.
- Maximum 25 participants.
- Headsets will be provided for groups of 10+ inside the palace.
- This walking tour is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
- No storage for coats, umbrellas, large bags, baby carriages etc.

This tour was wonderful! Alex was an incredible tour guide. He was attentive, informative, and cared about his guests more than any other guide I’ve seen. He had great stories about the palace and the gardens and we really felt like we got a one-on-one experience of the palace. I would highly recommend this tour, and ask for Alex!

Definitely worth the money to purchase the skip the line tour! The entry lines were very long for this popular attraction and our group sailed by! Standard visitors were listening to typical audio guides while our group had the wonderful narrative provided by our guide, Alex. Alex brought the history of Schonbrunn to life and did an excellent job keeping us engaged throughout. (He also provided each of us with a handheld fan which was much appreciated on the hot day!)

Part of it, the palace portion, is wheelchair accessible. Needing a wheelchair at the last minute, I reached out and was told it was not. Fortunately my persisted because later, too late had I not already been in the house, they told me that the guy said it was harshly accessible.
Our guide was reasonably knowledgeable and heavily accented with a Vulcan accent. It's sometimes, in a crowded Hall, made it difficult to understand what he was saying. For the most part, other than getting up to the level of the rooms, my husband and I were on our own to deal with the wheelchair. The guy seemed pretty oblivious to having to maneuver through crowds with a wheelchair. I was also left in the gift shop having to bother the busy cashiers to be able to exit.
On the good side, the guide was quite knowledgeable. He told us some interesting things about the palace and it's inhabitants. Had I been able-bodied unable to always see where he was pointing, I'm sure we would have enjoyed it a great deal more.

Really great comprehensive tour of the palace and gardens. Alex was an awesome and knowledgeable tour guide and I felt I got way more out of visiting with this tour than coming on my own (and also didn’t have to deal with tickets or any other logistical headaches)!

This tour was well organized and very informative. The castle is magnificent and the grounds are breathtaking. Our tour was at 3 and I think that’s a little late in the day. You could spend a day here touring the grounds. My advice is go on a tour early in the day so you have the time to see it all.

Alex was very passionate about the Schonbronn Palace and art. His knowledge was vast about the palace and he loves talking about the rooms, architecture, art, etc. The guide gave us such a wonderful educational experience. He was a gem for a guide.

The guide was knowledgeable and the meeting directions were clear. Punctual start. However, we found the tour wasn’t very engaging or interesting. There was a heatwave that made it uncomfortable and seemed the only area of the palace with good AC was the gift shop. Not worth the money.

We were very disappointed with this tour. To start, the group was much too large, which made it difficult to have an engaging experience. We also felt there wasn't very much to see inside the palace. The gardens ended up being the highlight of the visit. Ironically, they are free to access, and once we entered them, the tour became self-guided, as our guide did not accompany us through that portion.
In hindsight, we would have been much better off purchasing admission to the palace with the audio guide. We believe we would have had essentially the same experience for significantly less money.
