One of the best art museums in Vienna. This is a self-guided tour and you really need to be there early. They WON'T let you in if you miss your time. Wide range of art work including Van Goughs and home of the best Klimpt pieces including "The Kiss". Takes a few hours to tour plus the grounds are free to wander around.

Great value for money, lots to see, easy to get to via train and tram. Close to other activities like botanical gardens and Saint Stephen’s cathedral and the main city centre.

This is a beautiful location , easy to get to on public transport . Probably the best gallery I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting as an art lover . A must see . You could spend hours and hours here . I wish that I had longer .

The venue is beautiful, the staged entry meant we had plenty of space to walk around, and plenty of time to look at the exhibits. The Kiss painting is stunning in real life, it shimmers! Posters don't do it justice. There's a good restaurant too, The only negative to the experience is that the venue is not on the tube or trainline. We had to get a tram on the D line for the last part of the journey, and had a bit of trouble finding the right tram, even with sat nav. But the locals are friendly and most speak English, so we just asked someone and got pointed in the right direction. It was well worth it!

If you arrive late you will not be allowed to enter. Your only option is to buy tic directly from the museum. Aviator did not return my requested reimbursement or answer my note.

We opted to view the museum without a guide but we did use the headset to get more details on the art we wanted to know more about. This is a great option as we were able to go at our own pace.

Amazing collection of artwork. We mainly went for Klimpt. My viator app wasn’t letting me log on so be sure to take a screenshot of tickets even though they say you don’t need to.

They were letting groups pass the line but honestly there was no difference with this ticket. Not sure if it was bad timing but they were admitting tour groups ahead of the line.

Museum was great. The waiting to enter with scheduled tickets was not. The big man was condescending if you lined up early as if I couldn’t tell time. Rudeness was inappropriate.

This was an amazing experience, getting to see so many beautiful works of art, especially the several pieces by renound Austrian painter, Gustov Klimt! “The Kiss” is one of the most well-known works of art from the 20th century and seeing it in person was a true gift

You have to go to the ticket office to get tickets. The app says it will send you an email. It does. But the email sends you right back to the same page in Viator. Very poor experience.

Nice museum. Lots of paintings and history. Grab a portable chair if you are inclined. You’ll probably need 3 hours to tour.

It’s better to go for Belvedere palace than this. Not so much fun. Plus a huge turn off was a mix of German and English language by the same guide. He would first speak two sentences in English followed by same in German. This created confusion and lack of attention in the listener. Will not recommend this particular tour to anyone.

Make sure you stick to your time slot else they send you back out. Queue for pre booked keeps moving and very organised. Don’t take large bags.

I went to the museum with my viator confirmation and they said that I couldn’t use it there and had no idea where I should go. I tried to get help from the website but it was impossible. Don’t use 3rd party booking sites. It’s easy to loose your money and end up paying twice like I did!

Choose a warm day to enjoy the gardens! Maybe do both upper & lower & ask for location of elevator as stairs do not have handrails.

We had problem entering the upper Belvedere
They couldn’t scan our tickets though they were printed
It was just because of the kindness and understanding of the staff we were allowed to get in
