What are people saying about Vienna

Three countries in one day!
We had such an amazing time on this tour! We knew going into it that the drive from Vienna to Budapest would be long, but with such a small group of only eight people, it flew by. Everyone was so friendly, and we spent the drive talking and getting to know each other, which made the time pass so quickly. Our tour guide, Matus, was absolutely the best. He was incredibly knowledgeable about each city we visited and kept us informed throughout the day, always letting us know the timeline and checking with the group to see if we wanted to adjust or add anything along the way. His flexibility and enthusiasm really made the experience even better. Visiting three countries in one day is something everyone should experience at least once. It was an unforgettable day filled with beautiful sights, great company, and so many memories. I would absolutely do this tour again. That's how much fun we had. Highly recommend!

Best Day in Salzburg!
My small group day trip to Salzburg was one of the best tours I’ve been on so far…mainly due to our tour guide Marcus. He was knowledgeable, funny and a safe driver. Important when you’re driving 3 hours each direction. Made everyone feel comfortable. Salzburg was magnificent, would highly recommend this tour.

Perfect Introduction to Vienna
I only had two days in Vienna, and trip was short notice for work so not a lot of time to plan. This food tour was a great introduction to the city. 1. Group was small, only 6 people + guide, so always easy to hear and stay connected to the group 2. Our guide Magdalena was excellent! Knowledgeable, personable, kept the group members engaged. 3. We met in the city center, but very quickly got on the underground and trams and went to different areas. Magdalena was great about explaining how the Vienna transport system worked, using the subway maps to explain where we were and where we were going. By that afternoon I was confident enough to navigate around Vienna by myself! 4. Kummelbraten!!! It changed my life. So delicious. 5. One member of our group was a vegetarian, and I was impressed that at every stop they knew a member of the group had dietary needs, and they were prepared. Even at the Wurstelstand, which is all things sausage (and did I mention the amazing Kummelbraten), they had vegetarian options for each tasting prepared and ready to go. They did not ever feel left out. 6. Each stop was well organized. The trips between stops were easy and used the Vienna public transport, so it was a mix of walking and the riding. I highly recommend this Vienna Food Tour: Coffeehouses, Markets, Lunch & Street Food. And if you can get Magdalena as your tour guide you will not be disappointed.

Highly recommended Vienna walking tour focusing on the city’s history from around 1900
This tour gives a really good introduction to Vienna’s history, especially from around 1900 to the present day. Dieter is a charming guide with deep knowledge of the subject who also shares several personal stories that enrich the experience. Some of these stories are Dieter’s own, including from his time as a journalist. Others are from people who have been on the tours with Dieter over the years. We took our three children and our oldest (16) said it was the best part of our first Vienna visit. There are stops along the way to rest the legs, use a restroom, or fill a bottle from the drinking water pumps dotted around Vienna. Dieter had some historic pictures to show us at some of these stops and he ensured he showed them to every person on the tour each time. Dieter answered every question from the group, and repeated the question first so that we could all hear over the earpiece. With such a wide range of questions this demonstrated the breadth of Dieter’s knowledge and his deep interest in the Austria’s modern history. Thank you, Dieter!
