Itinerary

Your tour begins with pickup from your centrally located Vienna hotel, where you’ll board a minivan destined for the prominent Hungarian city of Budapest.

On arrival in the Hungarian capital, you’ll embark on a guided tour of Budapest’s top attractions. Included on your itinerary are Heroes’ Square, Fisherman’s Bastion, Opera House, Chain Bridge, and Buda Royal Palace, all of which you receive a thorough synopsis of from your guide.

See, too, Kazinczy Street Synagogue and Széchenyi Baths, famed for the quality of its thermal water. After a full day of sightseeing, relax during the journey back to central Vienna, where your tour concludes.

You will spend about 4 hours in Budapest (a combination of 2 hours sightseeing tour and 2 hours of free time) and about 1,5 hours in Bratislava (a combination of 1 hours sightseeing tour and 30 minutes of free time).

Great Day in Budapest & Bratislava

This day trip was long & travelling lots of kms but very beautiful & well worth it. Our driver Peter was excellent. He is a really nice man, informative, polite & had a good laugh with us. We had 3 other people from 2 other countries with our family & it was a brilliant day. Great day, great memories & most enjoyable. The 2 cities are very beautiful

Budapest and Bratislava day trip

On a chilly breezy morning in Vienna, at the outside of tourist information center, we were waiting for the tour guide who didn’t show up on time (out of numerous day trips we have taken throughout Europe, this was the only one that the tour guide late for half hour), when asking about his whereabouts, the male tour director at the meeting point not only was unapologetic but also speaking with threatening tone and intimidating attitude, which was terribly rude and uncalled for. It was kind of spoil our trip to Budapest. The tour director should be working in a complete different industry. Hospitality doesn’t suit him. Other than the unpleasant experience with the tour director at the meeting point, Budapest is totally worth visiting but we suggest use a friendly tour company.
