I had a wonderful experience exploring Budapest with White Alligator Tours. The entire tour was very well organized, smooth, and perfectly timed — everything felt effortless and enjoyable.
We visited some of the most beautiful highlights of the city including Citadella with its breathtaking panoramic views, the historic Buda Castle, and the stunning Matthias Church and Fisherman's Bastion overlooking the Danube.
We also had the chance to stop by Ruszwurm Confectionery, which was a lovely touch, and see iconic landmarks like Heroes' Square and St. Stephen's Basilica. Every stop was well chosen and gave a great overview of this beautiful city.
A special thank you to our guide Peter — he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, with a great sense of humor that made the tour even more enjoyable. He really brought Budapest to life and made sure everyone had a great time.
Overall, a seamless and memorable experience. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Budapest!

Really enjoyed this day trip to Budapest. It was a long day, but definitely worth it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative, especially about the history of Budapest and the places we visited.
The tour was well organized and gave us a good mix of guided sightseeing and some time to explore on our own. Budapest is a beautiful city with incredible architecture and so much history.
It was a long day but well worth it. Our guide, Marco, was excellent! The ride was comfortable and enjoyable.
Excellent tour! I booked it last minute, just the day before, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision. Budapest is incredibly beautiful. My only regret is not having taken this tour during my previous visits to Vienna.
We had a wonderful day tour from Vienna to Budapest. The schedule was really well balanced, giving us just the right amount of time to explore both Buda and Pest on our own without ever feeling rushed. Markus was a fantastic guide — knowledgeable, friendly, and full of great insights that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour.
Great day trip to mark off Budapest from my list. The sights are beautiful. Roman was a great driver and did good by pointing out the highlights. Had plenty of time to do some exploring with free time.

Marco was very passionate about the history of Vienna and Budapest. He was also very attentive and kind and answered all questions on tour. We had 6 ppl on our tour, a lot of free time, and many wonderful picturesque viewpoints!

My tour guide Peter is very knowledgeable about Austrian - Hungarian history and I really enjoyed the time spent to not just sight but also absorb the great history of this Central European City.
The tour was as good as advertised. It is indeed a small group, only 7 of us. Our tour guide Balazs is very knowledgeable and attentive. We were able to stop by most of the top tourist attractions in Budapest. If you have only one day and know nothing about Budapest, this tour is the way to go.
This was a fantastic intro to Budapest, and Peter was a great guide. I particularly enjoyed learning about the history of Hungary and the culture from Peter and time spent wandering around the castle district on the Buda side. Exploring the Pest side was also interesting, and there’s so much to see. My only regret is visiting Budapest as only a day trip, but I’m glad I had this introduction and I look forward to going back and spending more time there.
Budapest is a beautiful and amazing city. If you are unable to stay in Budapest, a day trip from Vienna is perfect to get a feel for the city. Our guide was great and very knowledgeable of the city and history. Had a great time.

Was a good way to see Budapest if your time is limited. You are very much on your own as driver gave very limited guidance or information. It’s a long day with driving taking more time than anticipated due to road construction.

Belage (sp) was amazing. He was extremely knowledgable and shared a lot of information about the history of Vienna, the Hapsburg’s and Budapes. He was also extremely flexible and patient with the group., trying to meet everyone’s needs.
If you are fortunate enough to have a trip with him, I highly recommend you take it.
The way to Budapest from Vienna was longer than we thought due to constructions on highway, not our driver's fault. Our driver/tour guy was very friendly and professional, we learned a lot from him.

Wonderful tour of Buda & Pest Hungary. The Imperial Palace and Parliament buildings are impressive with >1000 years of history . Terrific food for lunch downtown and prices were reasonable. Beautiful fashion shopping district.
What a lovely day trip to Budapest with Balazs! We were a small group of 4 which made for an intimate setting. He was very professional, kind and flexible. Throughout the trip he would share recommendations as well as offer to take photos in between history facts which was much appreciated. Balazs was very welcoming and friendly and really allowed the group to guide the day. Budapest turned out to be one of my favorite places I visited during this trip. It was nice to meet Balazs and the wonderful individuals of the group!
