Very nice service and drive drive so nice . Tourist guide was so helpful and nice . He explained very thing to us , thank you so good service
Bring 50 cent coins for the bathrooms. Lydia was an excellent tour guide! Went the extra mile. Overall a wonderful time.
Hallstatt was absolutely amazing! Yes it is a long bus ride but it is a beautiful mountain lake town. Our guide shared a ton of history on the bus ride which was a great use of the time.
Very beautiful places that we visited! Guide was amazing and informative and made it so fun! Great day overall!
Olga was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge is incredible. She was very interactive with everyone. She made the trip enjoyable by playing beautiful music. She also was very intuitive on when not to talk to let people relax. I lived the stops we made. Hallstatt was beautiful. This is worth your whole day.
Hallstatt is a charming and lovely destination. We didn’t realize we would be traveling on a large bus with 60 people but at the end of the day we must admit the bus was comfortable, clean and smooth! The arrangements were timely and there were adequate breaks. Our guide Olga was kind, precise and educational. She always had a smile and was so helpful. Hallstatt is a very small town and so many people visited it each day. It makes one wonder if they will limit the visits at some point. So happy we saw it. We also did the one hour boat ride there and we would recommend that too.
1. The air conditioning on the bus was extremely weak. The bus became unbearably hot, and at one point I genuinely felt unwell from the heat. For a full-day tour, especially during summer, this is unacceptable.
2. The rest stops were at highway restaurants that they are partnered with, where everything was ridiculously overpriced — around €5.5 for a small bottle of water, for example. Of course, nobody forces you to buy anything, but choosing these overpriced stops for guests left a very bad impression.
3. My biggest complaint, however, is the "Skywalk". The tour I paid for specifically included transportation/pickup, the boat ride, and the Skywalk. The Skywalk portion was not provided, yet the company refused to give me even a partial refund for the service I did not receive. If something included in the advertised package is not provided, I think refunding that portion is the bare minimum.
Overall, the experience felt misleading and poorly handled. I would not book with this company again, and I recommend that other travelers be very careful before booking with them.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that some aspects of the tour did not meet your expectations, and we would like to clarify a few points for future guests.
All of our buses are equipped with air conditioning, and the systems are regularly maintained and normally operate properly. During the exceptionally hot period in Austria, however, keeping a bus at a comfortable temperature can be more challenging than usual. We understand that everyone experiences heat differently, and we are sorry if you personally found the temperature uncomfortable.
Regarding the rest stops, the restaurants are located at standard highway service areas in Austria. The prices there are set by the individual businesses, and we have no control or influence over their pricing. Purchasing food or drinks at these stops is, of course, entirely optional.
Regarding the Skywalk, we kindly ask guests to review the tour description and booking options carefully. The tour does not include both the Skywalk and the boat ride as two services provided simultaneously. Due to the Skywalk being closed for renovation, which is beyond our control, we offer the boat ride as an alternative option. Guests can choose whether or not to add this option when booking.
In your case, the boat ride was selected as part of your booking, and this service was provided in full. Therefore, the service included in and selected with your booking was delivered as described.
We appreciate your feedback and hope this clarification is helpful to other travelers considering this tour.
We did the Hallstatt Guided Day Trip from Vienna with the boat ride option, and it was a highlight of our trip. The instructions for getting on the bus were seamless and very smooth — no confusion about where or when to meet.
Our guide Alex was excellent: knowledgeable, engaging, and kept the energy lively the entire day. You could tell he genuinely enjoyed sharing the history and stories along the route.
One tip for future travelers: be back at the bus on time. Drivers in Vienna operate under strict driving-hour regulations and have to stay within a set number of hours per day, so a few passengers running late kept the group waiting and put unnecessary stress on our poor driver. Just something to keep in mind so everyone can help the day run smoothly.
Hallstatt itself was absolutely beautiful, and the boat ride was fantastic. There was a small hiccup with the boat option along the way, but the company handled it well and made things right — everything ended up going smoothly regardless.
Overall, a wonderful, well-organized day trip with a guide who made it even better. Highly recommend.
It was a bad experience due to several factors:
1. The total trip took 13 hours. Only 3 were spent at Hallstatt. The remaining time was a travel time.
2. The bus air conditioning was either too hot or too cold.
3. The speakers in the lower deck were terrible as we could hardly hear what the tour guide was talking about.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.
We are sorry to hear that the overall experience did not fully meet your expectations. The total duration of the tour and the time spent at each stop are indicated in the tour description in advance. In addition to Hallstatt, the itinerary includes other planned stops and viewpoints, including Ort Castle and the Gmunden viewpoint, which are part of the full-day experience.
Regarding the air conditioning, our buses undergo regular technical inspections and the climate control system was operating normally during the tour. However, we understand that individual comfort preferences can vary, and we are sorry that the temperature was not comfortable for you.
As for the speakers on the lower deck, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will check the microphone and audio system settings to make sure that the guide can be heard clearly by all guests.
We appreciate your detailed comments and will take them into consideration as we continue to improve our service.
Our tour guide Olga was very knowledgeable and made this large group tour almost feel almost Iike a private tour. The trip to Hallstatt Lake Village is a long trip, but the beautiful lake and village are definitely worth the drive. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has the time in their Vienna itinerary to see something that will add another layer to their Austrian experience.
False advertisement past year about skywalk is under maintenance they have more option just to get money but when u arrive there is no skywalk. So double make sure before booking with them ask for partial refund n they hesitate to give us. Bad experience

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry that the temporary closure of the Skywalk affected your experience in Hallstatt.
The Skywalk is operated by a third-party provider, Salzwelten, and its temporary closure is outside our control. This information is clearly stated in our tour description, with the closure announced until the end of summer 2026, and is also confirmed by Salzwelten through their official information.
As an alternative, we offer an optional boat trip in Hallstatt. Guests can choose whether or not to purchase this additional activity, depending on their preferences.
We always aim to provide clear information about our tours in advance, and we regret that the Skywalk closure did not meet your expectations.
Awesome, tour girl gave tonnes of detail and willing to solve issues between tourists.
Arrangement is reasonable
This trip was good. Sofia was a great guide. I felt there was plenty of time to explore and eat lunch. I even had time to take the boat ride which I would recommend.
I have amazing time with amazing guide. If you looking for easy and reliable to travel to Hallstat. That is it.
It was
Nice.
I wish there was more of a

Guide
For
Hallstatt
Itself, but overall
It was a nice trip.
Sofia our guide was pretty nice
And always available
This is place you have to visit at least once in lifetime . Tour was very well organized. Good time management
The schedule was well organised and everything went according to plan. However, the tour guide talked far more than necessary. Perhaps she was quiet for less than half an hour during the entire round trip, and almost nobody was listening to her. A bus journey is not a football commentary where someone describe every single scene. People are usually tired, and it would be better if they only received the essential and important information about the two or three areas they are going to visit and enjoy the rest scenes in silence. Her voice also added to the heat and fatigue of the journey, which was annoying.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are sorry that you felt uncomfortable during the tour.
Our guide normally receives consistently high ratings from guests, but we understand that every experience is unique. We will certainly discuss your comments with the guide and review what happened to help us maintain the high standard of service we strive to provide.
This was a great tour and the guide and bus driver were really good. Unfortunately I don’t think there was any need for two stops on the way. The first stop was for breakfast which was extremely overpriced!! And the second was to look at a castle. The views on arrival to our destination were amazing so no need for the castle. Overall it was a very pleasant day.
Wonderful experience and well organised tour, would recommend to give this a go. The tour guide was very I formative and had a good sense of humour
Beautiful trip. Bus pick up was on time. Tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. They always checked that everyone was in the bus after every stop. Great tour!
Alexander made sure the day went smoothly and everything was well organized. A good experience to the mountain region if you only have a short time.
I was with a group led by Olga. She was very knowledgeable and shared Lots of interesting information regarding the area, the history, customs and culture related to regions we traveled through and our destination. It made the bus ride intriguing and engaging. The physical location was breathtaking, and gaining the knowledge shared by Olga transformed and enhanced the experience to a higher level experience.
Brilliant and very knowledgeable tour guide. Excellent driver, all very well organized highly recommended. Boat ride recommended!
A wonderful experience with our tour guide Olga. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. She gave great recommendations not only for Hallstatt but also Vienna.
Our guide was very thorough and entertaining throughout our journey . The memento she gave all of us was very thoughtful.
Tour guy Lily is very friendly and provided us lots of fun stories and history about Austria, making the 4h bus ride easy to pass. Frequently stops on the way also make the bus ride doesn’t seem long at all. Hallstatt is extremely beautiful and is easily my favorite place in Austria better than Vienna.
Good tour, the scenery was beautiful but the buss tour was very long. Make sure you are up for 3-4 hours on the bus in each direction.
Really lovely little town. We enjoyed our time here. It’s a long day from Vienna but we felt it was worth the trip. Beautiful surroundings and interesting visit. Be prepared for the long bus ride, though.
Bring cash. Sophia was an excellent tour guide. She shared interesting stories and tidbits. She had a positive attitude. Was very approachable and friendly. Very knowledgeable. It was a nice touch to hand out salt to each guest and ask about how their experience was on the trip. She was a wonderful tour guide.
Alexander did a really nice job keeping everyone entertained during the long ride. hallstatt was definitely worth it. Beautiful town - would highly recommend this tour.
