The whole trip shows a more unique tasting experience. The drinks and food were very carefully planned out and the whole evening was a pleasure . Stefan knows his stuff and really made it a great night out. You need to do this trip!

Excellent tour w/ Stefan. 10/10 recommend. We went on Cinco De Mayo weekend and Gaslamp was crazy but it was so so much fun.

We came into San Diego foe a mini getaway and invited some friends who are local to join us. We all had a ton of fun. The locals got to try places they had never been and really enjoyed seeing their city from a different perspective. We all enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and social aspect of getting to know other people that we may have not had the opportunity to talk to otherwise. Our guide Angela was a ton of fun, full of energy, and was great about accomidating my food allergy. My husband and I plan on looking into walking food tours any time we visit other big cities from now on. It was an excellent experience.

The tour was a lot of fun! Stefan is very knowledgeable and entertaining! He keeps the group engaged with his ‘fun facts’ and stories. My husband and I are from Riverside County and have been to San Diego a few times, but never the East Side. We’ll be back to enjoy some of the food we sampled on this trip!

We had a fantastic time exploring the East Village with Stefan! Delicious food, tasty cocktails, and plenty of neighborhood history to boot. Would highly recommend if you want to branch out & discover a different neighborhood of San Diego!

Stefan, our guide, was such a character -- and I mean that in the best sense. From our first moments together he was gregarious, outgoing and quickly showed that he knew what he was talking about. Every one of the establishments he took us to was excellent. We gladly look forward to returning to each one of them. He was so tight and friendly with the bar staff that it kind of felt like we were on a "behind the scenes" tour. This was a memorable, fun experience that we would unreservedly recommend.

We were on a 3-day “get away from winter” trip with nothing planned. Saw this tour on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. It was fun and well worth the price. Food tastings were excellent and drink sampling was very good. We saw places we never would have known about from real Thai to the Lost Abbey Brewery shown above to amazing molé to Greek fusion. All unique and all accompanied by lively narration from Stefan. And in a part of San Diego we have never known about.

Stefan is the best tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the places we wren and friendly with staff at every location. They were also genuinely happy to see him and treated our group wonderfully. He took the time to get to know each of us in the group as well to get a sense of what we liked and catered the menu to our tastes. We stayed a bit after the tour ended chatting and having a great time. Even before the tour, he called a day in advance to let us know that we had to change the start time! Stefan is the man to go to for a great time in San Diego through the eyes of a local.
Would completely recommend.

Tour was a gift to my husband. Apparently the other group canceled last minute so we had Stefan's full attention. He was energetic and full of information.
Parking is difficult so leave extra time. Especially of its game day at Petco Park!
We could here the excitement of the game at our final stop which totally add to the evening. Stefan was mindful of the time so we could leave before the game was over. Such a wonderful experience!
I'd definitely try another tour as this was so fun.
