What are people saying about San Diego

Great tour!
This tour was full of information about the history and families that shaped Little Italy. Well presented, easy to understand. We went to four different businesses and had savory and sweet tastings. Drinks were available for purchase. Nobody left hungry.

Great Tour Guide
Our tour guide, Magda, was well informed about the food, the sites we visited as well as the whole San Diego area. My family and I felt she gave us an authentic look at “Old Town” and its history and current happenings. The food was amazing and we enjoyed margaritas, overall very fun! Definitely recommend this tour and Magda!

Maria is an ex
Maria was an excellent tour guide and host. We had a wonderful time and great eats at the places on the tour. Maria made sure we all got our food in a timely manner, and was helpful with the few accommodations. She took great photos and supplied a highlight video with pictures from the tour. She was kind and available for whatever was needed. She even held my ice cream so I could get on the carousel. Maria truly made our experience great and memorable

Great opportunity to...
Great opportunity to learn of the origins of San Diego. Melissa was very knowledgeable on the history of the area and the historic locations that are still available to see. She was a pleasure to spend time with on this tour. The food and drink selections were excellent and we would definitely recommend it.

An Amazing Tour!
Tadeo was our tour guide and he was the best we've ever had! Extremely knowledgeable about the city and the area. He kept a great pace and we enjoyed every minute of it. It was like Tadeo breathed with the city and knew every spot to take us! This was my first time and Mexico and I felt very safe even with the recent unrest. I would highly recommend this tour and Tadeo in particular!

Afternoon Food Tour
This is a good tour to be acquainted with the Gas Lamp quarter. You will be full by the end and will have a good idea of to do on your own. Lydia L from Sidewalk Tours was a great host and provided a brief history of the area, we also walked through Horton Grand Hotel. Our favorites were the Cuban restaurant and the Cali Cream at the end.

Excellent Winery Tour
Paul Anthony was an excellent driver and guide for what turned out to be a private tour. We went to excellent wineries. Beautiful settings and great wine. Paul Anthony has great wine knowledge and a great manner in educating as well as telling good stories and information on the area.

Playing Tourist for the Day!
I’m a local and used unused credit to
play tourist for a day in San Diego! This was so much fun and learned so much about Little Italy! Little Italy is absolutely beautiful during the holidays. Take the coaster if you’re staying north San Diego to downtown. It’s a safe short walk to Little Italy!🇮🇹🍷🍝

Beautiful way to spend a morning in San Diego
Great experience, the crew was friendly and accommodating. Food was great, of good quality with lots of sweet and savory options, and served buffet style. Our group enjoyed the made to order omelet station. Our champagne/sparkling cider glasses were never empty! Inside where we ate was comfortable temp, not too hot or cold, but pack layers for going outside on the decks for photo opportunities. Kids aged 12 & 10 enjoyed this as well. We would definitely do another cruise with this company, maybe we will try the dinner cruise but we’d definitely even do the brunch again!

Great local experience
This was the main day fun experience we’ve had. We felt like our guide just welcomed us into her family. She asked a few questioned which helped her zero in on what we wanted which was a “local” experience. She nailed it. She was funny, knowledgeable, took us to some really great places to eat and drink.

Walk, Eat, Drink, Learn
This was an incredible get to know a city by its food, beverages, and its neighborhoods. Humberto was a tremendous guide, assisting our party of five through a city that is one part NYC, one part LA, and one part a friendly small town.
Be prepared to eat tacos, sip tequilas that may remind you of fine wine, try a fruity local beverage. You will walk it all off.
The hardest part of the trip is crossing the border to and from Mexico. Expect long lines. But when crossing through USA to Mexico your guide will be there. Humberto greeted us warmly and made sure our full day tour was enjoyable. It was more like a trip with a friend who was proud to show off his city.
