What are people saying about San Diego

Great time!
Doug was an awesome guide. We had been to San Diego several times but really felt like we learned a lot about the Gaslamp Quarter history. Food portions were great - we all left very full! They did a great job with dietary restrictions and overall it was an awesome experience!

Wonderful afternoon with...
Wonderful afternoon with Anthony. The food was phenomenal, unique Italian dishes. And I got way more variety than I could have done on my own. The portions were large so everyone had plenty. Two courses plus bread at the first stop. 3 courses at the 2nd. Then two dessert stops. Options to order a drink at the first two stops if you want. It was a pretty large group (15 of us) which I typically avoid but it was still very enjoyable and Anthony organized it well.

This activity was very...
This activity was very worth the money the food and drinks was unlimited and they had a lot of options to eat. We had an assigned table and server but everyone was helpful and welcoming and they had upper levels we could go out and look at the ocean. My only suggestion would be the chicken and beef was a little dry. Overall a good experience

Great Tour Guide
Our tour guide, Magda, was well informed about the food, the sites we visited as well as the whole San Diego area. My family and I felt she gave us an authentic look at “Old Town” and its history and current happenings. The food was amazing and we enjoyed margaritas, overall very fun! Definitely recommend this tour and Magda!

A summary of the experience.
1. On the day, Marisol, the lady helped gather all attendees.
2. Marisol guided us how to walk across the border.
3. Once crossed the border, you will meet someone from Border Tour (in Tijuana). My trip was led by Tadeo.
4. Tadeo led us to birria restaurant, then Jal Alai and the nearby stores, had a quesadilla, cathedral. Then, fish taco to end the trip.
5. Tadeo led us to the border and gave advice on the process.
6. Once crossed border and bags checked, toilet trip, I was back to US.

Maria is an ex
Maria was an excellent tour guide and host. We had a wonderful time and great eats at the places on the tour. Maria made sure we all got our food in a timely manner, and was helpful with the few accommodations. She took great photos and supplied a highlight video with pictures from the tour. She was kind and available for whatever was needed. She even held my ice cream so I could get on the carousel. Maria truly made our experience great and memorable

Great !
We had an amazing time on the Crossing Borders: Tijuana Day Trip from San Diego! Everything felt authentic, and fun. It was such a great experience getting to explore Tijuana and see things for ourselves instead of just hearing about it.
Our tour guide, Tabitha, was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable right away. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and that energy made the whole trip even better.
This was actually my first time crossing the border, and I even brought my 16-year-old son along. It turned out to be one of the best days and such a great memory for us to share together.
If you’re thinking about taking this tour, I highly recommend it. Great experience, great guide, and a really fun way to explore Tijuana!

Great opportunity to...
Great opportunity to learn of the origins of San Diego. Melissa was very knowledgeable on the history of the area and the historic locations that are still available to see. She was a pleasure to spend time with on this tour. The food and drink selections were excellent and we would definitely recommend it.

Afternoon Food Tour
This is a good tour to be acquainted with the Gas Lamp quarter. You will be full by the end and will have a good idea of to do on your own. Lydia L from Sidewalk Tours was a great host and provided a brief history of the area, we also walked through Horton Grand Hotel. Our favorites were the Cuban restaurant and the Cali Cream at the end.

Playing Tourist for the Day!
I’m a local and used unused credit to
play tourist for a day in San Diego! This was so much fun and learned so much about Little Italy! Little Italy is absolutely beautiful during the holidays. Take the coaster if you’re staying north San Diego to downtown. It’s a safe short walk to Little Italy!🇮🇹🍷🍝

Best Tour
I had a wonderful time on my tour of Tijuana. Victor our guide was excellent, I was beyond impressed with his knowledge of the history and culture. The food was amazing!!! Best street tacos. The tequila tasting was very fun. It was safe and easy to get around. Definitely recommend this tour if you're curious about the border city.

LOTS of fun and LOTS of delicious wine!
I randomly decided to take a winery tour while I was in the San Diego area, and I'm very happy that I did! I met some great folks from our tour guide, Dave, to the other guests on the tour. We tried wine from 3 different vineyards, each with unique and special offerings for visitors. Dave was very knowledgeable and engaging throughout the tour, giving us fascinating information on how the area became known for wine. I would 100% recommend this tour!
