Look for pods of dolphins around the coast of Albufeira, where marine life and caves abound. Aboard a semi-rigid inflatable boat, you will have access to isolated coastal areas that are difficult to reach by larger boats or by land. A stop for a swim is included, along with a visit to the famous Benagil Cave, provided the sea is calm.

What a great trip! Didn’t really feel like we was on a boat, no sea sickness thankfully.
Our guide, ‘the Flying Dutchman’, was really funny & very knowledgeable about the area. He told some great stories too!
We saw the dolphins, that was amazing.
The caves were so pretty, the history was quite interesting too.
We stopped off & did some swimming, the water was crystal clear & so warm.
Julio the captain was funny too, he had some good one liners.
Would recommend for a few hours out 10/10!

We had a lovely boat trip with Bruno as our tour guide & Julio driving the boat.
It was really family friendly and informative as we passed all the sights along the coastline. Unfortunately no dolphins but worthwhile nonetheless.
Pack an extra jumper as it gets pretty blowy out at sea

Amazing experience! The tour guides were very funny and made everyone feel welcome. We seen dolphins and all the caves. It was cold and windy on the boat and the guides even offered me and my girlfriend a jacket to keep us warm from the cool winds. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience and our kids (8&5) loved it. A thrilling trip in the rib to the cave area, we were lucky enough to see some dolphins. The crew were friendly and charming. A must do experience when in Albufeira.

This was an amazing start to our holiday!
Bruno is an excellent guide, very funny and engaging. Captain Ozzy was fantastic at getting us in the smallest caves.
We had no luck with dolphins at this time of the year but we thoroughly enjoyed this trip with our kids and would 100% recommend!

Our group of 5 booked together, and unfortunately the experience fell well short of expectations.
• The tour was overbooked due to broken seating, and we were asked to wait for the next boat. We had to fight to get on the 15:00 departure, which actually left at 15:20.
• Once on board, our group was split up instead of being seated together as booked.
• These delays and seating issues significantly affected our experience, especially as we were hoping for a group outing.
The views themselves were fine, however there was little guided-ness to the tour, mostly just floating around with music on. The organisation and customer service were poor, and we were disappointed with how the situation was handled.

Amazing to see these natural caves. Might be wet depending on winds and waves. Recommend a lightweight rain jacket. The last row outside edgr was the wet area but less bumpy. Great entertaining guide.

We booked well in advance and travelled to Albuferia specifically to take this trip. Unfortunately the day of 10am tour was very windy and the sea was extremely rough, making it so that there was no hope of seeing any dolphins or getting into the cave for a look. These were the two specific things we went to see. No one’s fault necessarily but we felt that the tour should have been canceled before we left the port. The afternoon tours were canceled.
A number of people on board were quite frightened and drenched. The saving grace was that the crew were very professional and Bruno made personal contact with each passenger and was entertaining and humorous. He saved the day!

My husband and I did a tour of the Benagil Caves in a ribbed boat with Bruno. We had debated about whether to do it in a ribbed boat or Catamaran and are so happy we chose the ribbed boat as it could go into so many other caves and areas that the Catamaran wouldn't be able to. Bruno and the captain were fantastic. Highly recommend!!

This boat tour was the most incredible experience of the rocky Algarve coastline. It was like a 2 hour movie of the most dramatic rocky cliffs next to the azure blue sea. There was a picture postcard of golden limestone outcroppings after every boat turn, hidden sandy beaches, caves and arches. The grande finale was the majestic Benagil Cave with its dome of striped circular patterns opening to a circular skylight.
The boat driver was exceptional as the ride was very smooth as we cruised around the rocks. The guide was very informative and walked around the perimeter of the zodiac, making sure all guests were doing okay. He also spoke Spanish to one couple, to make sure they understood all of the information.
This is one of the best tours that I have taken with Viator, anywhere! Do not miss this experience while you are here!

It was a fun experience. We saw the caves and learned about the Portuguese coastline. Although we were not able to see dolphins the two hosts keep things fun with their jokes/humor.

This is a must when traveling to the Algarve. Such a special way to see the land and sea from the water. Our guides Daniel and Joseph were entertaining and friendly. Full of jokes and stories. Added to the day already being great. Some tour companies have large boats but this one was the opposite. Small and personal only seating 24 max (ish). It helped that the sun was shining and we were able to see lots of dolphins swimming along with us. Really great day and a highlight of our time here.

The trip was well worth the money. Due to weather conditions, they informed me that they couldn't proceed with my booked time slot and offered alternative options. The communication was excellent. We booked a later trip and were out for the full advertised duration. Unfortunately, we weren't lucky enough to see dolphins this time, but it is something that is not always guaranteed. We would certainly try again next time we are in Algarve. The crew provided us with valuable information about the various locations along the coast and also had a good sense of humor.

Scenic views of the Algarve Coastline. Not educational, but fun nonetheless. We did not get to see the dolphins. The tour is the full 2.5 hours. Good value for money.

Really enjoyed the tour. We got very lucky and saw a large pod of dolphins what jumped and swam next to our boat as we cruised long for 10-15 minutes. It was awesome. The caves were cool too but the dolphins were the highlight. Only issue is that the seat cushions must had a lot of water in them from the night before. The seat surface looked dry but after sitting on them for 20 minutes, our family’s pant seats were quite wet and it definitely did not splash from the ocean while touring.

The tour guide tried hard to help us get suitable seats. He took my parents' physical conditions into consideration, which was really great.
We didn't spot any dolphins along the way, but we visited every single cave—they were absolutely breathtaking.
Parking was quite difficult; in fact, it's almost a struggle to find parking at scenic spots across Portugal.
