Theo was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and had great recommendations for the area. The off road adventure was awesome!! He showed us both well known areas and spots that only the locals would know. The wine tasting at the end was a great way to finish off a wonderful tour.

Very convenient, good program and plenty of time at each stop. Driving backroads was fun and guide explained everything in English and French considering everyone in group.

This is a fantastic and unique tour through the north and west of the island allowing you to see hidden sights not available anywhere other than an off road vehicle. We had a brilliant guide in Mauricio who showed us Madeira with passion and humour too.

Our guide Justino was amazing. Madeira is spectacularly picturesque and the tour hit so many wonderful spots. The only thing to watch out for is how full the Land Rover can be and where you sit. Ours had 8 people plus the driver and we were second last pickup so that meant we were on benches in the back.

I had an amazing Jeep tour in Madeira, and it exceeded all expectations! The landscape was absolutely breathtaking, with dramatic cliffs, lush forests, and stunning coastal views. Mauricio, our guide, made the experience even more memorable. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the island's history and nature but also had a great sense of humor, keeping the energy high throughout the tour. We absolutely loved all the spots where we stopped — the views were incredible😍
We want to thank our guide Mauricio, because he told us so many interesting things about Madeira and showed us places we would have never found on our own. He drove us along old roads with the most beautiful views of the island — honestly, we would never have made it there by ourselves 🫣 He was also super friendly and fun, and even did photo sessions for us at the waterfalls!
By the end of the day it felt like we had seen such a big part of Madeira in just one day! We left with amazing memories and impressions🥭🏝️🏔️ Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Jeep tour was fabulous and really fun, especially whenever our driver said “shortcut” at which point holding on is recommended. Took us through very narrow areas where 4 wheel drive is definitely required.
Lots of points of interest and a great way to see a lot in a short time.

The day tour with Mauricio was top notch! He had a good sense of humor and did his best to show us the sightseeing spots and avoided the crowds everywhere we visited. The jeep ride going up and down the hilly roads was so exciting! Highly recommend to everyone and will surely go on more tours with Mauricio at our next visit to the island.

Justino, our guide, made the day perfect. He was so enthusiastic, interesting and knowledgeable. Great balance of driving and sight seeing time. Diverse locations gave us a great feel for the island. Amazing and dramatic views and I can still smell the eucalyptus trees driving through the forest of the nature reserve. The short cuts in driving made for the right amount of adrenaline buzz! Felt completely safe and trusted Justino. Marderia wine stop ended the perfect day. Would highly recommend.

I can’t say enough about how truly amazing this tour was. I never leave reviews, but this is worth 10 stars. Mauricio was amazing. He took his time to take us to the best places and we had great conversation.

Not for the feinthearted! Family of 4 from 13-59 - we all loved it. If you don’t like heights and going off road and up steep hills maybe not for you but honestly…there was someone on the trip who didn’t and they still loved it. Great views, great company, great itinerary! Bring your swimming gear. We didn’t have time to swim in the pools (the free ones are the best) so maybe bring snacks and forego lunch and jump in! I did, however, have time to swim in the sea from the black sand beach. Ending up with some Madeira wine tasting! Yummy! Our guide Justinho was fab and took some awesome photos/video on the Jeep with the waterfall in the background. We sat in the back before lunch - if you can - sit in the front in the morning or keep swapping - much better views up front so we missed out on getting great videos of the 4321…shortcut!!

A great day out, easy to explore and stress free taking you to some very scenic spots. Fantastic driver too. Driver arrived ealier than expected, messaged us to let us know and waited a couple of minutes for us, no problems at all.

Fantastic day out with Jake picked us up from our Hotel which was 25 minutes out of Funchal on time. Great tour nothing was too much trouble always gave us an opportunity to stay on the road or go off roading which is the one we always choose! All the stops we had plenty of time at and if we wanted a few minutes longer it wasn’t a problem. Great honest company to use and a fabulous way to see the beautiful island of Madeira. Absolutely amazing tour with Justinho. We got lucky and were the only ones on the tour on a lovely day. Justinho is extremely knowledgeable and was happy to answer any questions. He knew the best and less busy spots to stop which were all absolutely incredible. We had bad weather at the natural pools and they were closed BUT the views of the waves crashing and videos were once in a lifetime. Still enjoyed the town and watching the waves crashing. Highly recommend this tour honestly and Justinho also took some in road shortcuts that were so much fun and beautiful areas we wouldn’t have otherwise seen! I would definitely do this tour again!!!

If you’re unsure about which tour to choose out of all the many tours on this app, go with this one. Our guide was very friendly, super knowledgeable, and took us on some roads only locals would know. He showed us the most amazing spots and view points one would often see in their dreams or movies. I highly recommend this tour as it will change your mind about wanting to explore or drive on your own.
