Best experience

We were in NOLA for a work-related conference and arrived a day early. We had so much fun with this experience…. More than we thought it may be. Chef Alex was phenomenal! He was engaging with the history of NOLA and the origin of the foods. And, the best part was eating everything he prepared! I love that I am heading home with recipes and will definitely be cooking these at home.

New Orleans food and drinks

Nate was fantastic from start to finish. He explained everything clearly, kept us engaged throughout, and shared some fascinating history about New Orleans. We thoroughly enjoyed all the food and drinks we were given, and the whole experience was both informative and enjoyable. Nate made sure we were well fed and watered, and his enthusiasm really brought the tour to life. Definitely a must-do experience when visiting NOLA.

We absolutely LOVED this...

We absolutely LOVED this experience! Our guide was incredible, she was so knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor too. We learnt so much. I loved how the history was presented to us, starting with the origins of alcohol and then moving more local -- it was great to get a slightly different historical perspective from alcohol.

Informative and fun tour

Paul was wonderful to work with. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating throughout the experience. One of the biggest perks was being able to keep our luggage with us after the cruise, which saved us so much hassle. He picked us up right at the port and dropped us off at the airport after the tour, making everything seamless and stress free. We learned so much along the way and were able to take in beautiful architecture throughout the city, even in the cemetery. I would highly recommend booking this at the beginning of your visit. It really helps you get your bearings and appreciate everything you’re seeing even more. It will give you an idea of where you want to spend your time in New Orleans. There is so much to do from the French quarters, to the river.

A very informative and interesting tour!

Oz was our guide and offered a wonderful introduction to the City of New Orleans. He not only knows the City extremely well but his explanation of how the City developed over time was an interesting and intriguing history lesson. Kin was awesome honestly. He pulled up to our hotel, van was spotless, and just made the whole day feel easy. No rushing, good vibes, funny as hell, and knows NOLA inside and out. Whitney Plantation tour with Kin was a great experience. Honestly just book Kin and go to Whitney. That’s it.

Definitely a Must!

We had a great trip out to and back from the plantation with our driver Trish. She is knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. The drive was half the fun! Marcus was our in house tour guide and he did an amazing job with the history of the house. The house is lovely as are the grounds. I would highly recommend this tour. We also loved the ladies in the gift shop who were fun and offered yummy samples.

Educational and fulfilling day with Gisele.

While on a trip to New Orleans, I took a day to visit plantations and learn more about the history of enslaved people in Louisiana. Tour guide Gisele was wonderful, explaining the history of the area while also keeping the mood light when needed. She’s also one heck of a good driver, navigating the streets of New Orleans during the parades!! I was with a lovely group of fellow travelers as well. It was an emotional, educational, and fulfilling day. I HIGHLY recommend Tours by Isabelle and the plantation tours (especially Whitney) to anyone visiting the area!

Great start to our first visit to NOLA

The bike tour is the best way to start your trip in Nola! Chip was a fantastic guide who definitely has ‘real’ knowledge of the area and its history. The tour was relaxed with plenty of stops so never felt rushed and the bikes were in great condition. Loved trying out the cruiser bike for the first time and so comfortable. Chip provided really interesting information and history which kept us hooked. Probably one of the best tours I’ve been on. Hope to join the good tour if time allows
