I'm Paul Angelica, a born and raised native of New Orleans. Paul was wonderful to work with. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating throughout the experience. One of the biggest perks was being able to keep our luggage with us after the cruise, which saved us so much hassle.
He picked us up right at the port and dropped us off at the airport after the tour, making everything seamless and stress free. We learned so much along the way and were able to take in beautiful architecture throughout the city, even in the cemetery.
I would highly recommend booking this at the beginning of your visit. It really helps you get your bearings and appreciate everything you’re seeing even more. It will give you an idea of where you want to spend your time in New Orleans. There is so much to do from the French quarters, to the river.

Paul was incredibly knowledgeable and gave a great overview of New Orleans' history. I appreciated how he broke the tour into four distinct areas—French Quarter, City Park, the cemetery, and the Garden District—so we could get a rich highlights tour despite our short trip. Even though I’ve visited New Orleans many times, I learned new facts and saw things I’d never noticed before. It was my husband’s first visit, and Paul made it a memorable one. Best of all, when we had an issue with our original time, he went out of his way to accommodate us. The tour with Paul was fantastic. We learned so much about the history, architecture, and lay of the land !! I could not recommend this tour more. We scheduled it the first day of our trip and left feeling so knowledgeable about New Orleans and neighborhoods, we felt confident to strike out on our own and explore everything the city had to offer! Fantastic tour if you are interested to know about the culture and history and other areas
of interest in New Orleans beyond what Bourbon Street has to offer. The tour was exactly as described and Paul was very generous with his time. He worked hard to tailor the content to our particular interests, encouraged questions, and was a fun and very interesting travel guide. If you are interested in touring the city, we would definitely make this an activity at the beginning of your visit to help orient yourself and get recommendations on what else there is to do and where you might like to go. He promised us by the end of the tour he would convince us to come back and bring our kids with us one day. I was a skeptic, but he succeeded! Perfect personalized tour and a great value! After reviewing at least 100 options, we picked this tour primarily because it was private and enclosed on an abnormally cold NOLA day. We were very impressed from the beginning. Paul was very organized from the start, he reached out to let us know he'd pick us up at our hotel and sent us a couple docs about the city. He arrived early in a very clean RAV4 that was the perfect size for easy conversation and easy navigation of the city. The tour itself was very interesting and informative, all tailored to our interests. This was our 3rd trip to NOLA and we learned so much in our 2 hours with Paul! The tour shaped the rest of our trip and left us with a future to do list. We highly recommended Paul's tour over and over again and will continue to do so!

Do this when you first get to New Orleans for a great overview and to get ideas of what to do next. Paul drove us around in his comfortable car so it was ideal for me as I have walking problems. He has his facts down pat but deviated and expanded on those topics we were most interested in. I loved the Southern charm of being called Miss Nancy. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Paul was wonderful and very knowledgeable, we learned so much from him in a few brief hours on this tour, that we spent the rest of the day with solid plans on what to do next, and where to plan dinner. We loved the whole history of the French Quarter the Gardens , the graveyard and the amazing City park. Highly recommend this tour especially if you have never been to New Orleans before.

We were celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary and booked this tour for the second day. Paul showed up early and we were outside our hotel, so it was off to the races. He has a wonderful personality, and we really enjoyed our time with him. The tour lasted several hours, but the time flew by. We went back to City Park on Sunday and spent most of the day there. We followed his suggestion and took the trolly there and back. We visited the sites and had a fantastic lunch at the restaurant on site. Great food was easy to find in New Orleans with his help. The tour was well worth going on and we would definitely recommend it.

Paul is amazing! This tour is such a wonderful introduction to New Orleans and it will give you ideas of things to do and where to go. I would take this tour again on our next visit. You get to see the "guts" of New Orleans and learn fun filled facts and see things you will not see on your average bus tour. Paul is one on one, answers your questions and will go out of his way to insure that you have a wonderful experience.

My brother and I drove from Houston to Nola. The construction on the first 8 miles into Louisiana made an 5 1/2 hr trip 8 hrs. Note to Paul: The welcome sign on both sides is MIA because of this as the Texas one is still up and easy to spot. Anyway, having this tour on our first day was such a needed, refreshing and welcomed experience to counter the drive. For one, you don't have to drive. Two, you will get a timely pick-up with all the information you need to navigate around. We appreciated that and all the jokes. It was as if we were visiting with a good friend. It gave us confidence to venture out and navigate around. For those who may not know if your street is missing a sign look down on the corner the name is there. That saved us every time. Also, if your on the tour record what you can so you can go back. It makes a return trip that much easier and Paul doesn't mind 😁. He's worth the booking and you will see a lot in 2 hrs. Thank you, see ya again maybe next year.

Paul was a fantastic guide - you can tell from the moment he introduced himself he loves this city and wants you to love it too. He shared so much about each area and really took his time explaining the history and significance of each area. He made sure we had dining and entertainment mapped out for the remainder of our trip. A good trip thru the city, showing what the WHOLE city feels like. Yes, French Quarter was covered, but real, local neighborhoods... Passing by schools and grocery stores, driving on side streets and boulevards. He's a lifer, a local, and will respond if you have questions. I asked a specific question and he changed plans on the spot to fit it into the journey.

We have been to New Orleans many times. Our time spent with Paul and Sharon provided more information packed into a short time frame than any other prior experience. If looking for value coupled with knowledge we highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed. With the exception it came to an end.
