Well-Paced Tour!

This tour was well-paced and allowed for a comfortable, but busy day of touring these very unique sights. Our tour guide, Sheila, kept us well-informed throughout the journey with just enough information to keep us interested but not overwhelmed. Warwick Castle is the most enjoyable of the castles/palaces we’ve seen while here. Spending time in Shakespeare’s birthplace was fascinating. Learning the history of Oxford and experiencing the immensity of the town was impressive. Our driver Zenon kept us safe in the very comfortable motor coach! Great day all around.

It was a very relaxed tour with no rush. We did encounter traffic because it was the Easter weekend. Our guide Kevin was informative and had a good sense of humour. We were able to cover all the intended sites with ease with plenty of time to roam around. Overall it was time well spent!

Great places to see all on one day

Really liked the tour. We got to see three paces in one tour a some of the country side. Kevin is a fenomenal guide. Very knowledgeable and eager to teach a bit more. I love how efficiently he helped us move around, giving us all the instructions and, good to know tips, before we reached each site which helped us getting in and out seamlessly.

I believe my tour guide name was Dom & he was exceptional. Knowledgeable, told interesting stories to further your knowledge of the places you will visit. Amazing, interactive, and enormous!

Please be aware that the bus ride is just transport and no actual tour/ commentary is provided on the ride over. Having said that the bus was comfortable and timely, no complaints there! As for the studio tour itself, I would argue it’s a must-do for any Harry Potter fan. They warn you that it’s larger than you think and I was still blown away at the scope. Be prepared for some upsells along the way but some are legit pretty cool (e.g., green screening yourself on a broomstick ride - to be fair you can experience it for free but would need to pay for a copy of the video.) Real props throughout, interactive exhibits, huge sets (you can walk through the Forbidden Forest!) There were so many amazing highlights from pulling a screaming mandrake out of the greenhouse and watching a fireworks display on an enormous model of the Hogwarts Castle. We’ve experienced Harry Potter at Universal Studios and the interactive traveling Forbidden Forest experience and I would say that it was still more than worth it to experience this tour. Definitely recommend!!

Second tour with London Day Trips

Our second day trip with London Day Trips. It was nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city. We had the same tour guide, Daisy, who was our lead for Cliffs of Dover/Cantebury. She’s wonderful as was our driver Diana. Really enjoyed Cotswolds and the walking tour of Oxford. Could have used more time in Oxford as there is lots to see but it was a good introduction. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this tour and the White Cliffs of Dover and Cantebury Cathedral tour.

Great tour, even for kids

Matt was a wonderful tourguide with lots of tidbits. Enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend to other family and friends. We initially thought 5 hours was going to be too long, but the tour was broken down into the city part (starting with St. Paul cathedral), followed by a 45 minute lunch near the Tower of London before heading west on the tube to Westminster Abbey, so it is definitely manageable for kids too.

Great overview of cotswolds

The day was really enjoyable. Great way to see the beautiful villages and towns that would otherwise be hard to reach. Megan our tour guide was extremely pleasant and informative. Megan gave us great options for food and freshening up that were very helpful. The bus ride is lengthy especially with traffic which was very heavy at times so the day is full. But yes recommend it for a great trip out of London for a day

Lots of time in a bus,...

Lots of time in a bus, but the driver kept the trip interesting. The towns were all very worth seeing. It’s difficult to grab a bite to eat and see the shops given the amount of time given for each stop, but that is to be expected on a day-trip tour. All-in-all very with the cost and time to see these cute villages.

Sinead Was a Fantastic Guide

Sinead was a fantastic guide, informative and knowledgeable, all with a little light humor to keep us entertained during the bus ride from London to the site. Stonehenge was beautiful, and the visitor center kept us comfortable as the weather was chilly. Be sure to dress for the climate in early spring, including a pair of gloves.
