In the morning, depart Central London by comfortable, air-conditioned coach and venture into the countryside on your journey to England’s Cotswolds—an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
As you travel, listen as your guide shares stories about the region’s history and attractions, from its stone-built towns to its idyllic villages and lush, rolling fields.
Have your camera at the ready as your coach enters the undulating Cotswold hills, and stop first in the lovely town of Burford, famous for its wide main street and houses built from local stone. Enjoy a short stop to visit the teahouses and shops ranged along the street, and then continue to the picture-postcard village of Bibury.
Stroll around the almost impossibly quaint 17th-century weavers’ cottages at the heart of the village, and then travel to an old Cotswolds pub and inn to enjoy a 2-course lunch from a menu that includes classic English dishes (if option selected). As you eat, soak up the medieval atmosphere of the oak-beamed restaurant.
Duly refreshed, make your last stop at Stow-on-the-Wold, a small market town that’s one of the Cotswolds’ most charming spots. Get another spell of free time to delve into this picturesque place, perhaps discovering its charming gift shops, and snapping photos of its townhouses.
Finally, return to Central London where your tour finishes in the early evening.

We had an excellent tour with James, our tour guide, & Joanne, our coach driver. James was very informative & he has a great sense of humor. Joanne was a great side kick & can out maneuver any other coach driver. The 3 villages we went to were beautiful & even though it’s a long tour, it’s nice to get out of London to see some awesome countryside. I would highly recommend this tour!

The day was super well organised and the driver (Miguel) and tour guide (James) provided a fantastic service. We were given loads of free time to explore the villages. The lunch was generous and delicious. I highly recommend this trip.

Our tour guide Eva and our driver Kevin was absolutely fantastic! Eva incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts throughout the tour, but what really made the experience unforgettable was her great sense of humor. She kept everyone engaged, entertained, and laughing while making sure we learned so much along the way. Her passion and personality truly brought everything to life. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an informative and fun tour!

Tom and Joann did a great job, knowledgeable and helpful.
The lunch was not very nice but the scene was beautiful.
Be prepared for lots of walking.

Would recommend if you're looking for highlights of the Cotswolds. If you want time in Bibury, skip the lunch (although it was delicious!).

For a lovely introduction to the English countryside, this trip is perfect! We saw 3 beautiful villages in the heart of the Cotswolds. Highly recommend adding n the pub lunch, which was delicious! Our tour guide (Rowan) was lovely and our bus driver (Florian) quite accomplished at navigating the large bus on the narrow roads.

We traveled in an airconditoned travel van that seats about 20 people. We made three stops at different villages. The villages are fairly crowded with tourists. Though iconic in their architecture the amount of foot traffic and mortar traffic was a little unexpected from the serene photos I've seen. Many lovely churches to visit. Loads of cute shops to purchase small gifts. Public restrooms are available in each village but cost 50 euro to use. Most shops/public services use contactless payments. Our tour included a lunch stop. It was nice to have that planned out in advance and then we just stopped into little bakeries or treat shops to taste a little hear and there. Scones and clotted cream somewhere on the trip is a must.

What a beautiful day exploring the Cotswolds! We visited Bourton-on-the-Water, Bibury and Burford, and each village was more charming than the last. The honey-coloured stone cottages, historic buildings and iconic dry stone walls made it feel like stepping back in time.
Everything was picture-perfect – quaint villages, stunning countryside and such a peaceful atmosphere. A wonderful way to experience the beauty and history, highly recommend this tour.

Despite the weather being overcast and drizzly it was a nice day. Each town had its own charm. Each town was literally a shopping stop. There was little in town other than food and shopping. If you go with this expectation you won't be disappointed. The towns were quaint and relaxing. It's worth it if you're looking for a relaxing day. Our guide, Jason, provided background on the areas we drove by as well as local history. He was very entertaining. Our driver, Joanne, did an amazing job navigating through the tight streets and traffic issues.

This was a great day trip prior to boarding a cruise ship. Since we already have done the London sites, this was a great way to see the countryside and explore the charming villages of Cotswold.

It’s kind of a long bus ride but the scenery is well worth it. Our guide Derrick was very knowledgeable and mostly gave great commentary. His historical tidbits were especially entertaining. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review was because of his political comments. We’re on vacation & don’t want to hear about politics - even UK politics.

The Cotswolds are must see villages. Very quaint & picturesque. Amber was our guide and she was so knowledgeable about the history of the Cotswolds and London in general. Silvias was an excellent driver

I'll never travel with viator again. Nor will I ever recommend traveling with viator to others. Forgotten to the age where I can thankfully travel a little bit and look forward to it but I'll never use viator again.
I think the practice is to have a"courtesy call" to the client, however all you do is call and hang up which is pointless. I was 2 minutes away from the bus and got hung up on.

As we were unsure how far away you were or whether you were still on your way, the coach departed approximately 4 minutes after the scheduled departure time. Our tour guide, Rowan, was fantastic! She was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, enthusiastic, and had plenty of quirky facts and stories to share as well. She also took care and the time to ensure everyone knew how to get to where they needed to after the tour ended, which I thought was a lovely touch. Our driver, Pietro, was also great - he always managed to find a way to pick us up and drop us down on time, and in very busy spots! The coach was comfortable, and importantly, air-conditioned! The villages were stunning/charming, and the lunch was very good. If I had any criticism it would be that there was not a huge amount of time to explore, although that was very much impacted by the amount of traffic on the road (very heavy, which obviously the tour operators are unable to control). Overall, a great introduction to the Cotswolds!

We did this trip with Tom - guide and Pietro - bus driver and I wanna extend my special thanks to both of them of keeping us save and being such great hosts. The bus is super clean and comfy, had a toilet which is a huge +1.
The trip itself is pretty good, Tom entertained us during most of the journey and was so kind to take care that we take of at the most comfrtable for our stay stop at the end. Overall I greatly recommend it, well done guys.

It was wonderful! Loved our tour guide, Eva. Nice safe driver, Pietro. It was a treat to see the beauty of the rolling hills and pastures as well as the charming towns we visited. It also helped to have perfect weather!
