Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Among the masterpieces on display are paintings by Holbein, Rubens and Van Dyck, Sèvres porcelain and exquisite English and French furniture. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the Castle with a free multimedia tour. In the winter months, visitors can also walk through the sumptuous Semi-State Apartments, which served as the private rooms of George IV in the 19th century.

The coach we rode in was...

The coach we rode in was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. We had a very good driver who got us there safely and was good at driving in lots of traffic. Our tour guide so knowledgeable about the history of England and all of the places we visited. She really made the tour great by sharing all of her vast knowledge about the places we went. You can tell she really loves her job. We enjoyed the tour immensely but wished we had more time at Windsor Castle and Oxford.

Bruce and Sokol were excellent. Bruce was extremely knowledgable. The only thing I would change is I would have liked more time in Windsor Castle.

See it all in one day

Each stop was worth visiting especially Windsor Castle. Long bus rides between each stop. Still the best way to get to see these iconic places in a short time

Perfest for Central London to Crusie Terminal

Excellent for what we needed. They picked us up at our hotel promptly on time around 8:15am. We went the Windsor castle and spent about 2.5 hours there. We had plenty of time to see the castle. We were taken to our cruise terminal in Southampton (NCL) on time about 2:00pm. No crowds at the terminal and walked right on. I would highly recommend if staying in central London and going out of the Southampton Terminal.

Mystical Stonehenge was a cool place to visit. Love the story and mystery. Bath was an amazing place to visit. Interesting history of the baths etc. The town itself is a cool place to walk around. Would have liked some additional time there. Windsor Castle was closed but made for great photos as well. Guide and driver were great.

Amazing Driver!

David was excellent! The car was very comfortable for the four of us. David provided drinks and snacks for our adventure. He knew lots of information about Windsor Castle and Stonehenge. Windsor Castle and walking tour

First part of tour was walking tour and was over three hours and you need to arrange your own transportation to Windsor Castle.Guide was helpful but one train was canceled and another train was delayed May want to leave the walking tour early. Unfortunately due to length of walking tour as well as train delays I Was unable to do Windsor Castle tour.

A trio worth the money

This is an excellent tour to get the best overview of Windsor Castle and town with a short history, a great view of Stonehenge with appropriate background, and an excellent tour of the Roman Baths in Bath. I would have liked to see the Royal Crescent either on the way in to Bath or on the way out. We paid to go into the Abbey. It’s such a beautiful church and excellent that it survived Henry VIII’s destruction of Catholic Churches.
