Fun and yummy activity

This was such a fun activity. Francois was such a lovely host. She had anecdotes to share and gave us the history facts for what we were drinking. The waffles and beer were delicious. Getting to the place was so easy and singable was clear. It’s up the road from Manneken-Pis, so you can catch that on the way there.

Wow... An Incredible Experience!

What an incredible experience to be part and an excursion that you will not forget. Stefan was an incredible guide and he truly loves what he does. It is a long day but one that I will never forget nor will you regret doing. I do wish that we had more time for lunch (only about 25 minutes) but I understand the need to show as much history as you can. I am forever grateful for those who fought in WWI and it was an amazing experience to witness the last post. A "must" activity for those who want to better understand the history of WWI. Excellent tour guide! Forgot his name. We visited many chocolate businesses. I wish we had seen actual chocolate being made not just the machines. Visor could give better, more specific directions for meeting location. It is nerve racking when you have paid spot of money for s as tour and may miss it because you cannot find the location. Once I was able to find the red umbrella person- it made more sense/ he did not have a red shirt as advertised. There are many tours in the same location.

We took this food tour a few days ago and had a fantastic experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely easy to talk with—she made the entire group feel welcome and curious throughout the tour. What stood out most was how seamlessly she wove together Brussels's culinary traditions with its architectural heritage. We didn't just taste the food; we learned the stories behind Belgian culture as we moved through the city. Our guide created a multi-stop culinary journey that hit all the highlights: crispy croquettes, fresh mussels, authentic Belgian waffles, and rich chocolate. She also made sure to include Belgian beer in the experience, giving us a proper introduction to the country's brewing traditions. The pacing was excellent too. She managed the timing impeccably, so we never felt rushed, yet we covered substantial ground and visited several stops. Every minute felt purposeful. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Brussels looking for an authentic, informative, and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Even more fun than I...

Even more fun than I expected. Clemens and Elana were wonderful hosts, giving us a great tour, and informed lessons in local beers and chocolates. The shops where we stopped were wonderful. The walking part of the tour is a pleasant, relaxed pace, where our group ranging in age from 30 to 89 were all smiling through the event.

Amazing expertise!!

Great expedience and would highly recommend for anyone interested in WW2. The tour guide was excellent, and very knowledgeable on the Battke of the Blunge plus WW2 in general. It is a long day so bring water and snacks. Bus ride is long but the tour guide made it go by quickly.

Delicious fun informative

The intake at the main location was not welcoming and then you do walk about 5 minutes to the classroom/kitchen. BUT Patricia gave a wonderfully informative presentation and we made lots of delicious chocolates! I went solo and felt welcome and included in our small group. Can’t wait to try my chocolates! Overall a really fun afternoon!

I had a wonderful time at...

I had a wonderful time at the waffle workshop! It was both fun and delicious, and they even let us take home everything we baked. We started by learning about the history of waffles, then went through the ingredients and the cooking steps before baking together. On the table, there was a great variety of toppings to choose from — banana, chocolate, honey, peanut butter, cream, and different kinds of jam. Our instructor, Chau, was very kind and friendly. She even gave me a special gluten-free recipe and helpful tips on how to make it work at home. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn, bake, and enjoy amazing waffles!
