Tour is self guided. It is a long walk from the bus to the entrance. It was wonderful to see Hampton Court, however I would have preferred a guide and drop off at the entrance.

Lovely day. Desmond was friendly and informative. An excellent driver. He and the group were on time. The coach was clean and air conditioned and comfortable. Hampton Court is full of history and beautiful paintings.

Once we got to Hampton Court my ticket would not scan so I had to get a manager to help me get in, the staff at Hampton Court were very gracious. I was very upset and embarrassed.
The bus driver could not have cared less about the tour and only named a couple bridges as we drove by them. I thought for the amount of money we paid we could have got an operator with some enthusiasm. The windows and seats in the bus were filthy, I didn’t want to touch anything and then to get there and have my ticket not valid was beyond. I would have been better off taking the public transportation route. Never again Viator

A very enjoyable experience - A must do! Lovely drive to the Palace. Made getting there & back super easy .

A must for any Tudor fan!
Enough time to go through open rooms and most of the gardens.
Stress free bus ride to and from

Excellent tour, staff very helpful and friendly. Well worth the trip! Our bus driver Bruce was a gentleman very helpful and made us feel at ease. Family friendly trip, would recommend.

This was a great way to get to Hampton Court without the worry about busses or trains. Particularly good for anyone who wants to save the walking for the castle and gardens.

If your looking for an alternative to traing it this is a good option. Comfortable coach, punctual times and driver escorted passengers to the entrance. Downside was it was a silent 2 hour return trip. expect a 10/15 min walk to/from bus parking (nice walk though through a park). Felt a bit rushed. I advise checking the gift shop when you arrive to pick up audio guide and ask the about best place to start given your time frame. I was happy with what I got to see but unfortunately did not have time to enjoy the amazing gardens. Loved the pantomimes and recordings, gave a sense of going back in time.

Half a day is not really enough time to see the entire palace. But you can’t hit the highlights. Henry VIII apartments are a must see .

The bus left on time and the driver was friendly and professional. The bus picked us up on time at a convenient location. We enjoyed the outing very much.

Smooth transportation to and from Hampstead Court Palace. I really enjoyed exploring and could've taken more time than half a day. I shall have to return!

Nothing against the tour service or the destination, but there was simply not enough time to see everything in ~3 hours. If you only wish to say you’ve “been there” and visited some of the rooms or gardens, this tour will fit the bill. Otherwise, find a longer excursion option or a different way to visit this amazing place, without the rushed return.

It was a lovely day with an excellent audio tour. Beautiful grounds and a very nice café and an excellent gift shop.

Very interesting history about Henry VIII and his wives. Be sure to get the free audio tour. It really makes a difference in understanding life in the castle.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Hi Kimberley
Thanks for your kind and informative review, and yes the audio guide definitely helps to enrich the expereince.
Hampton Court is full of Tudor history and then you have all the Baroque parts and the lovely gardens and grounds.

This was a fantastic tour. Being able to walk through the palace and walk the grounds was amazing. This an absolute must do for anyone that loves history.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Hi Ronald
Thank you for your kind review and this is a nice jaunt through history.
With the Tudor entrance, the fabulous Henry VIII kitchens and wine fountains, the great hall and all the art work.
Then on to the Baroque new part of the palace and on to the fabulous gardens and grounds.
Kind Regards

Very good experience, lots of stairs to see the apartments but worth it. Quite a few areas closed, marked as "Private" but still a lot to see. Gardens were beautiful.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Hi Brian
Thank you for your feedback and we are happy to hear you enjoyed your trip to Hampton Court. It is a bit of a journey through the ages, staircases and beautiful gardens but very intriguing and interesting.
Kind Regards

Make sure that the driver gives you the QR code for entry into Hampton Court.
We didn’t get ours and had to track down the driver to get it.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Dear Peter,
Thank you for your feedback.
We are genuinely sorry to hear that you did not receive the necessary QR code for entry to Hampton Court Palace promptly and that you had to track down the driver to get it. This is certainly not the smooth experience we aim to provide.
While we do have clear procedures instructing our drivers on distributing entry materials, we regret that this step was missed on your tour. We will use your comments as immediate feedback to reinforce this procedure and ensure this issue does not occur again.
Thank you once more for bringing this to our attention.
Kind Regards,
Anderson Tours

The value was in the transport to and from Victoria Station .... my advice would be to go by train and return by boat so that you are not as constrained by time.
Hampton Court is a MUST visit when you are next in London.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Dear Peter,
Thank you for your message; we are happy to hear you had a great day out.
We limit the duration of your visit to Hampton Court Palace to 3 hours, as this is the recommended time. We do this to ensure the tour remains a convenient half-day trip for our customers.
We hope you can travel with us again soon.
Kind Regards,
Anderson Tours

Unfortunately, our tour did not have a guide and the driver was last minute. So, needless to say it was chaotic at times. I would recommend just taking the train to each location. Cheaper and more efficient
Response from Host, Jul 2022
Hi Craig,
Thank you for your review and we are extremely sorry to hear that you found the trip 'chaotic' and would be very interested to hear more details from you about what exactly went wrong. Unfortunately, the afternoon before your tour the driver-guide lined up to do this tour had a health emergency and we had to find someone to fill his place at short notice, and we would very much welcome any detailed feedback on what happened on the day. We are extremely sorry again that you did not enjoy your day out with us and would be more than happy to offer you a substantial discount off another tour if you would like to travel somewhere else from London (e.g. Stonehenge & Bath, Canterbury & Dover, etc.).
Samuel_C, Jul 2016
The good thing is the convenience of transportation to both Hampton Court and Windsor Castle. That said, background information was on the lacking side. Only the basic minimum was provided prior to the destinations. A little disappointing, I suppose!
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Hi Samuel
Thanks for your feedback. This tour is currenlty running as driver only with the audio guides available at Hampton Court.
It is a new tour and we hope that as it builds over time we will get higher numbers and be able to put a guide on too.
However Hampton Court is a great place to visit with fascinating history and beautiful gardens.
Kind Regards
