Despite hiccups worked out

First, the tour guide was good, despite being frazzled by unforeseen difficulties with the Paris train system on the day. Second, for Viator, I know it's a third party booking app and all that, but they have GOT TO SYNC up with their providers when stuff like that happens. I was unable to make it to the train station in time due to the problems. Ok, so I took a cab to the Palace, all the while trying to confirm or get a meeting point for the group whenever they got there. All I got for a response was "they left, too bad, would you like a refund" When I KNEW for a fact that I was going to be at Versailles before my group. I ended up connecting with a different group run by the same third party company, but this was absolutely no thanks to Viator "support." Also to be fair, the third party vendor I contacted also said I wouldn't be able to go.

Aurelia was fantastic, so knowledgeable, personable, and extremely patient with some of the more challenging participants. The tour was informative but not too long which I appreciated, gave me plenty of time to tour the gardens which is a separate ticket, well worth it though.

Must Do!

The meeting place was clear. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history and art in the palace. He also reminded us about being safe in the crowded rooms. After the tour some guests rented a golf cart to view the gardens. Others walked to the nearby restaurants to enjoy a meal and a cool beverage. Great tour!

Z was our guide for the Palace and grounds on golf cart tour. He was funny, knowledgable and kept great pace so we were never bored, overwhlemed or rushed. The grounds are gorgeous, the palace is opulent - book it! Our group of 4 inlcuded our 2 kids - 19yo and 16yo. My 19 yo said this was her favorite tour.

Highlight of our visit to Versailles

This tour was a highlight of our visit to Paris and so glad we took the train to Versailles. Our guide, Andrea, was funny, informative and kept us safe and moving through the fascinating village and hamlet. Seeing the village, gardens and surrounding areas of Versailles would have been impossible if not on bike and we are so glad we chose this way to see it. We had enough time a the end of the bike tour to walk through Versailles. Andrea walked us to front of line, so very little waiting which was welcome in the heat. We thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

Our tour guide, Leticia, was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and always found us a great place to stand to listen to the history she was sharing. We had a tour of the palace and then had tickets to the Gardens and the Hamlet included. Unfortunately, we were there during the extreme heat so we weren’t able to go to Marie Antoinette’s estate due to an early closure, but no one could control that. They reimbursed us for this tickets very quickly. We truly enjoyed the tour and our guide.

Fabulous tour!

This was an incredible tour and our guide was absolutely amazing! She did a fantastic job relaying the most important stories in a captivating way while presenting the information so eloquently. Our car service was 5 minutes late dropping us off and their whole team was so accommodating based on the very tight entry time and super responsive in the app. Highly recommend!

This was a lovely way to see the grounds of Versailles and the surrounding town. Our tour guide Nick was amazing, helpful and also very knowledgable. My one note is that this does involve a lot of physical activity, so people on our tour who were not as used to that had some trouble.

Super engaging story focused tour!

Carolina did an incredible job keeping our tour super interesting and focused on all the stories of the Kings and nobility that lived in the palace. This really brought the history to life and made it much more entertaining for us and our kids as we walked through the palace. Afterward, we were admitted into the gardens and rented a golf cart to drive around, which the kids appreciated during the record breaking heat.
