My husband and I had the privilege of using this private transfer to the airport and we were so delighted: the driver was punctual, courteous and very safe. The car was impeccable and the ride was smooth and very comfortable. We especially appreciated his polite way to balance his sense of humor with giving us the space we needed for privacy. This was one of our best rides in London!
It was a little difficult finding our driver following our exit from customs . He did not have a sign with our name on it to know that he was our driver. After we met him, everything went very smoothly. He helped us with our luggage and it was a short walk to his vehicle. He also pointed out points of interest along our ride into Paris. Our driver was very nice, welcoming and considerate.
Visiting Stonehenge - An excellent way to get from London to Southampton
We were picked up at our hotel for a transfer tour that included a visit to Stonehenge. Our guide was excellent, and you could tell that she really loved the mystery of this ancient place. We had plenty of time to walk around and take some fun pictures. From there we went to the cruise port in Southampton.
The pick was scheduled for 1000 am. Driver arrived 955 and the vehicle was a van. Another couple rode down to south Hampton with us. It rained the whole ride but it was very enjoyable.
Would highly recommend this ride from the hotel to ship to anyone
Be sure to allow plenty of time to travel between the Southhampton Cruise Port and Heathrow -- anywhere from 1-1/2 hours to 2 hours.
Our driver was there on time. He was very helpful and friendly, and did an excellent job of delivering us safely to the airport.
This door to door service takes all of the stress out of getting from central London to your cruise ship. On time, luggage taken care of, very clean and comfortable car, very polite good driver and probably a quarter of the time it would take using public transport.
The company had immediately responded to my booking. Prior to the experience was able to confirm who and time, etc. The driver was early which was great as we were also early. He was very nice and spoke good English and was easy to understand. Was quick and easy. Did not drive like a crazy person as my husband gets motion sick which I did tell the driver ahead of time of this as well.
Ollie met us at Heathrow and escorted us through the busy airport to a clean, comfortable Mercedes. He whisked us expertly away to Southampton and was a pleasure to talk with during the trip. I would highly recommend this service for a stress-free transfer from LHR to Southampton!
Fabulous day trip to Downton Abbey sites & Oxford!
We loved this day trip, which gave us a chance to see historic Oxford, along with the castle and village where Downton abbey was filmed. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful, and the bus was comfortable. We appreciated that we had time to explore on our own in all three locations.
The driver was excellent! Professional. Vehicle was clean and tidy but older than I suspected. I thought for the price it would have been a newer van. Or a sprinter. I wish Viator would have printed the pick up time on the ticket. I had to call and verify and costed me 8 pounds. Overall good service.
We had an extra rider with us but the trip to Southampton was very enjoyable. Our driver was wonderful, very safe & cheerful! My husband accidentally left his cell phone in the vehicle, panic set in, and she actually called us to let us know she had it & met us back at the port to retrieve it! Saved by our driver!!
The driver was very prompt and courteous and was extremely efficient getting us from the hotel to the airport. We arrived in plenty of time to actually enjoy the amenities of the business and first class section dining area. I would definitely recommend this group again if you’re in need of transportation
