We absolutely loved this day trip. Stonehenge was amazing to see as was Windsor Castle. Rowan was an awesome guide and provided so much history and interesting information. Walking around Bath was so cool - such an amazing place. We ended with dinner in the charming village of Lacock. Robert did a great job driving and the day stayed true to the timeframe mapped our in the detailed plans.

Itinerary

After pickup from the central London meeting point, travel by air-conditioned coach to your first stop, Windsor. Here, you’ll go on a walking tour of the city and admire Windsor Castle.

Afterward, continue by bus to Stonehenge. Admire England’s countryside as you travel to Salisbury Plain, the home of this UNESCO-listed stone circle, whose origins stretch back 4,500 years. If option selected, marvel at the prehistoric edifice, now generally thought to have been a temple aligned to the movements of the sun.

Next, continue to the picture-postcard village of Lacock, one of England’s prettiest spots. You'll visit a welcoming, 14th-century pub, and savor a delicious, traditional English lunch.

Duly refreshed, venture onward to the handsome Georgian city of Bath, once home to Jane Austen, the beloved, 18th-century novelist. Enjoy a panoramic coach tour of the honey-stoned architecture, admiring top Bath attractions such as the sublime Royal Crescent and Pulteney Bridge en route.

Then, take a short guided stroll past the famous Roman Baths and impressive Bath Abbey. Delve into the cobblestone streets, browse for souvenirs and take snapshots of the lovely 18th-century buildings.

Your tour then concludes with drop-off in central London.

It’s a long day, but worth it! Windsor Castle is amazing, as is St. George’s Chapel. The architecture and intricacies of the carved wood and stone around the castle and chapel is so beautiful. Stonehenge is very interesting. We were fortunate to have a sunny day, but still a cool wind (early October), so dress appropriately. Lunch in Lacock was delicious and the town is quaint. Very interesting story behind the town and it is currently run by the national trust. Our tour guide made the trip interesting and kept us engaged during the trip. He pointed out the Cotswolds and other sites along the way. Bath was a beautiful place also. Not a huge amount of time at each place, but enough to get a feel for each. Our driver was excellent. He avoided traffic in London with ease and drove safely. I would recommend this tour. We took jackets and water bottles. None of the stops require walking sticks, but wear comfortable shoes!

You will either love it or be extremely disappointed

It’s way too much in one day but great if you want to quickly see lots. Windsor Castle opened at 930am and we were on one of first buses in but then they don’t let you inside until 10am so you wait outside in a line and then wait inside in a line ( that was entering through the dolls house / not sure about other ways in ) Then had to rush through Windsor Castle and be out of gates by 1045am under threat of bus leaving if got locked inside during changing of the guard… then Stonehenge had thousands of visitors but under-catered for buses to transport and we just had time to get there, take a selfie and get back in line or would have missed bus. Pub lunch at Lacock was great and then Bath was interesting but one older lady wasn’t back at bus so she was left there as she didn’t get back on time. Her two older companions stayed behind to find her. Now none of this shemozzle was our tour guide Toms fault and he provided probably the most fantastic informative and humorous tour I’ve ever been on . It was perfect for me but would have liked more time at Stonehenge.

It’s a long day with a lot of travel between sites but we knew that going in. Tom kept us entertained with a plethora of information. I was not impressed with Bath as I expected a town like the others. It was dirty and we didn’t have time to do any real exploration. Robert is very pleasant and how anyone drives a bus on those roads and through those towns amazes me. If I would come back I would spend all day at Windsor. The tour company was very very efficient and all tours started precisely on time. I loved that!

Amazing!

Windsor Castle closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Randall_T, Aug 2026
When booking for a Tuesday it just said Windsor Castle is closed-instead of letting us know it is closed Tuesday and Wednesday-or open Monday, Thursday and Friday. I could have easily booked a different day and would have gladly paid more to see more than the gate.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Dear Randall, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. However, we feel that the review is somewhat unfair, as the main booking page clearly states under Additional Information that Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Unfortunately, this information appears to have been overlooked when the booking was made. Kind regards, Premium Tours Team

Great tour!

samwcook21, Aug 2026
Excellent tour! Thanks Eugene and Miguel did a great job. The tour allowed me to see so much in a short amount of time! I am excited to back to Bath especially.

Awesome day trip from London

Ronald_B, Aug 2026
It’s a long day but so rewarding and informative. Would book this again in a heartbeat. If you want to pack several sightseeing activities into one day this does not disappoint. Our guide Eugene and the driver Robert were superb.

Full day of Fun!

Natalie_W, Aug 2026
This tour was so much fun and really included everything. Me and my husband, 75-year old mom, and 16-year old son took this tour together on a Saturday. We enjoyed everything about this tour, even the downtime riding through the countryside in the big, air conditioned, double decker tour bus. Our driver Robert provided a safe ride to each site, and our guide Eva was both knowlegeable and hilarious. We were able to spend a good amount of time at each site, and even though we were on a tight schedule, never felt rushed. We caught the changing of the guard in Windsor, which was an extra treat. Lunch in Lacock was delicious and service was fast. The tour leaves early to avoid long lines and to get ahead of the other tours and Eva made sure everyone was taken care of along the way. It is a long day, but totally worth every second! I am usually the organizer for all things family travel, so it was nice to sit back and let someone else manage the itenerary for the day. Can't recommend enough!

Eugene, our guide was excellent. He gave us many hints on getting to the best parts of the exhibits. I felt we could’ve used more time at Windsor and Stonehenge. At Bath we had only an hour to explore an entirely beautiful town. More time is definitely necessary to experience it.

Great tour for families!

Melinda_W, Aug 2026
Eugene and Robert did an amazing job. Such great sites and a great group! The only structure is the times to get on the bus and the lunch menu. Love how free flowing the pace was. Great for any type of group.

Not enough time!

Jackie_Z, Aug 2026
1) Bring food! You meet the bus at 7:30 and the earliest you will eat is 3pm, and it might be 5pm. There's lots of places to get food along the way, but when you stop to get something to eat, it takes time away from the place you visit and you have very little time at each place. Better to bring sandwiches and eat them on the bus. 2) You have very little time at each place, so you feel like you have to rush through and can't savor the wonderfulness of the experience. 3) All three locations are wonderful and deserve more time. The lunch/dinner was good too.

Response from Host, Aug 2026

Thank you for sharing your experience with Premium Tours, Jackie. This tour visits four locations, so the time at each location is indeed limited. You have shared some great tips for future travellers, particularly about being prepared for a long day and making the most of the time available at each location. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed all the locations and were able to get a taste of each one. If you have more time, choosing a tour with fewer locations in one day would definitely allow for a more relaxed experience. The tour you chose is best suited to guests who want to see as many places as possible in a limited amount of time. Thank you, and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you on another tour in the future.

Great Day

Tim_C, Aug 2026
It's a long day and lots of time on the bus. Our tour guide was amazing and truly helped pass the time with history and humor. We truly enjoyed the adventure and seeing the beautiful country side. Windsor castle was great to see, even though we saw just a small part. Stonehenge truly is a wonder and we'd love to know why it's there!

Fantastic tour

Ramona_M, Aug 2026
The tour was perfect. We got to see so much in one day, and there was a great amount of time at each location. Our guide Eugene was fantastic, he knew so much about everything. And our driver Robert did a great job!

Choose John and Christian!

David_W, Jul 2026
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an incredible experience! Our 13-hour tour was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. John was an exceptional guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history and sights we visited. He made every stop interesting and kept the day enjoyable with his great sense of humor and storytelling. A special thank you also goes to Christian, our driver, who did a fantastic job. He navigated the long day with skill and professionalism, ensuring we were always safe and comfortable throughout the journey. Spending 13 hours on a tour could have felt long, but thanks to John and Christian, the time flew by. Their teamwork, professionalism, and genuine care for everyone in the group made this one of the highlights of our trip. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience!

Rowan, our guide, and Cristian, our driver, both made the full-day tour very interesting and worthwhile. It was an opportunity to see three of the "must see" attractions for visitors to England and enjoy a traditional pub lunch.

Great tour of death!

Nicholas_S, Jul 2026
The tour guide Eva and bus driver Robert were amazing. Eva was so funny and engaging and made the trip that much better!!

If you get Ava and Robert, you’re in luck!

Emily_M, Jul 2026
I had such a great time on this trip 3 years ago, I had to do it again for my honeymoon. This trip is a lot of walking, and can be fast paced, which is expected since you visit many popular and faraway sights from London. Our tour guide Ava, was FANTasTIC! Knowledgeable, delightful and hysterical! She looked out for you, every step and long bus ride away. I did love how well she treated the bus driver Robert, with such kindness! I’ve been on different tours before where the tour guide does not treat the driver well, and she was amazing at that! If we’re ever back in England again, I would do this tour again.

Best time in England

Glen_P, Jul 2026
While the excursion was a long day, we experienced so many wonderful and different sights! The English countryside is beautiful and our guide, Tom, provided us with historical context infused with humor and plenty of ‘dad’ jokes! Our driver was excellent! I’m not quite sure how he maneuvered that coach through some of the streets. I would highly recommend this experience!

Really nice tour, to know everything

Alfonso_L, Jul 2026
Is a really nice tour, the team and the logistics are nice. One thing to take into account, is that the Windsor section you only have time for the basics. Not fault of the tour, is what it is. To enjoy Windsor fully is better to take a dedicated tour.

Very enjoyable day, James...

Joann_M, Jul 2026
Very enjoyable day, James and our driver Haydar were very good, lots of knowledge and very friendly. The only disappointment was that Windsor Castle was closed. So much history and amazing views.

A Day with ZoZo!

Jennifer_H, Jul 2026
We had ZoZo for a tour guide. He was AWESOME! Zozo was knowledgeable and informative and full of character!! It was a great day with Zozo!! Highly recommend this tour!

Awesome Tour!

Sheri_L, Jul 2026
Our guide was exceptional! It was obvious Rowan loves her job and the places she shared. She was very knowledgeable and told us great stories of the people and places of England. I originally thought the tour was pricey but it was worth it! Our driver did a skillful job driving us through the small country roads and the ride was very comfortable My husband and I enjoyed this tour very much. Thank you Rowan!!!
