Wonderful

I was the perfect day trip out of London. Not too long. The short rest stop on the way was just the right amount of time to use the restroom and grab a s ack. Left early and back in time to have a nice lunch and do some exploring in London. Our driver John was amazing he drove expertly and did great time on the road. Shanade (excuse if I missspelled) was polite, funny and very informative. We had a wonderful time would give them 10 stars. Thank you.

Highly recommend this tour!

We saw a lot of Sussex in just one day! Middle Farm was an amazing lunch stop and all the sights were beautiful. Because we were there on a sunny day, we got to see a lot. We even walked through a sheep field to get to a view of the Seven Sisters. Our guide, Adam, was very knowledgeable and clearly researches all the information in depth. At the end of the tour, he even drove us down to the beach front in Brighton and gave us food recommendations so we could stay in town for dinner!

Pick this tour! It's the best one, easily!

What an absolutely amazing tour! We walked and saw and walked some more - and our guide ensured we didn't miss anything!! This is the BEST option for this type of tour, hands down. This tour provided bluetooth headsets so our guide could be fully around a corner and down the hall a bit and we could still hear him perfectly. Everywhere was busy and crowded (it was Christmas Break, after all) and we never missed any of his insights or suggestions. He was warm and friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about so many areas of London. The boat ride was a good respite from walking, as was the break for lunch. Everything was so well coordinated and covered, I couldn't have asked for a better tour for our large family group. If we're ever in London again, we're doing this tour with the group for sure!

I had a wonderful time on the White Cliffs of Dover and Canterbury tour. The scenery at the cliffs was absolutely breathtaking, with incredible views of the coastline and sea. Canterbury was just as impressive, especially the beautiful cathedral and the charming historic streets. The tour was well organized and gave a great balance of nature, history, and free time to explore. Our guide, Deacon, was amazing. He shared so many fascinating historical insights and explained the significance of the places we visited in a really engaging way. I learned a lot throughout the day and his enthusiasm made the experience even better. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see some of England’s most iconic sights

Great Experience with Great Service!

A Day Well Spent! The trip was a wonderful way to see a “tablespoon” of the Cotswolds and Oxford. Both places are so beautiful and vast that a one day trip is certainly not enough but this excursion provided a nice look at the high points. We could have used a bit more time in Burton on Water -that visit felt rushed and it’s such a beautiful place that I would have loved more time there. Oxford was incredible! What an amazing opportunity to see this “ancient” place. The architecture and history is stunning. Great value for the price of the tour cost! What a cannot say enough about is our driver Ash and the tour guide Marcus. Ash was friendly, prompt, funny and such a great driver. London traffic is nuts and his driving was assertive as needed but still safe and timely. Our guide Marcus knows the area and shared great info on historical highlights, local options and fun facts including a good recommendation on local sparkling wine! Both Ash and Marcus provided good leadership on a nearly full bus of travelers while keeping the mood light and professional. Very thankful I chose Viator for this experience. I will definitely choose them again.

Long ride but well worth it!

A long ride out and back but well worth the trip. Oxford was amazing and we had enough time to grab lunch at a local pub, complete the self-guided tour and shop! The two stops at the Cotswold villages was awesome including shopping and so many photos of these beautiful historic buildings. Our guide and driver was excellent providing a lot of good information and keeping everything on time.

Beautiful, well-organized tour

This tour was a wonderful experience and the easiest way to get to see Dover and Canterbury from London. The whole day was incredibly well-organized and from start to finish, our tour guide and bus driver were exceptionally professional and friendly. There was just enough time at each stop to see the most iconic sights: Dover Castle, the White Cliffs, and Canterbury Cathedral. It was a great experience and we would highly recommend!

The tour was very well...

The tour was very well organized and ran on time throughout the day. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and did a great job sharing both historical context and interesting facts along the way. We had a good balance of time at each stop, with enough time to explore Stonehenge without feeling rushed and a longer, more relaxed visit in Bath, which was perfect for sightseeing and exploring the city (though if you want to visit the Roman baths, then overall time might be very tight). Overall, it was an enjoyable and smoothly run experience.

What a beautiful day! Highly recommend!

What a wonderful experience! We had such a great day exploring the cotswolds with our guide Rowen. Rowen was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and you can easily tell that she loves her job. She also made sure that everyone knew where they were going once we got back into town, and answered any questions that we had, including recommendations. We ended up going on Remembrance Sunday, so we had a lot of cool opportunities to see things that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. One of the towns ended up not being accessible because of road closures for the holiday, but our tour guide pivoted and took us to the Downton Abbey village instead- which we were excited about. I could have easily spent more time in the first two villages, but it was already a full day packed with lots of things to see, so I don’t feel like we missed out. This is a great opportunity to see outside of London!

A great long day to see a lot

A whirlwind tour to see a lot in a short period of time. Exactly what I was looking for. Our guide Nicholas was funny, talkative, personable, and made the day. One final note: I wouldn’t consider The Cotswolds to be part of this tour; book something separate for that.
