Firstly, we only had about 1 3/4 hrs ant the site, and We spent the majority of that time waiting in line for the shuttle buses. Secondly, The “tour guide” didn’t even tell me the time to return to the bus - I had to ask one of the other passengers I found in line. Neither did she say where we’d find the bus, because it was not parked where we were dropped off. Thirdly, The details of the tour said they’d provide a drink and snack, which they did not. And lastly, I was personally told we’d return to Doubletree by Hilton Kensington area, when In fact we were dropped off at the exact spot where we were picked up, near Doubletree by Hilton Victoria. This small detail impacted all the plans I made for after the tour. Overall, I was just Very very disappointed. I expected to be dropped off at the site, not at the end of the 40-min line to get the shuttle bus.

This is not a tour. It is only a bus ride and transportation to and from Stonehenge. Our driver did not give us any commentary on the way there or back. We booked the premium tickets, which includes seating in the front of the bus and lunch. But, they gave us lunch at the start of the trip and then had us stare at it for two hours because they wouldn’t let us eat on the bus. By the time we arrived, it was about 3pm. Then the driver recommended we cut short our time looking at Stonehenge to eat lunch at the cafe. By then, it would been at 4:30. That’s not lunch; it’s nearly dinner. Don’t order lunch if you would like to eat it at a reasonable time. If you’re looking for transportation only, then this is fine.

It's a great place for adults and history geeks, but children under the age of 10 will be bored and overwhelmed. There's different stations to read and educate yourself.

This tour is an easy and efficient way to visit Stonehenge. All tickets and bus passes are included. The bus was comfortable and the bagged lunch wasn’t bad!
The only problem was the bus driver spoke broken English so I couldn’t understand much of what he was saying on the bus ride over and back.

We had a fantastic time on the Stonehenge half-day tour! Our tour guide and driver were extremely knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts and pointing out important landmarks along the way. The bus ride was safe, smooth, and very comfortable. Overall, it was a well-organized trip and a great experience. Thank you!

The air conditioning wasn't working properly on the tour bus. The Driver "Marti" (pardon spelling) was very nice.
Jackie_M, Jul 2026
The bus driver we had did not tell us anything about any sites we were seeing on the way to Stonehenge. Basically, hello. Rules to follow and goodbye.

Rob the tour guide was amazing ! I appreciated his organization during the trip and helpfulness.
I enjoyed very much his enthusiasm for English History & Stonehenge and more importantly his humor which made the tour even more interesting.

Very long day. Only cold liquids and no food allowed on the bus. We were on the tour for 7 or so hours. Luckily there was a cafe at Stonehenge. There is no shade at the venue and there is a wait/line to get on the shuttle to and from Stonehenge.
The bus is air conditioned.

Exactly how it was described - transportation and tickets to Stonehenge. No frills but just what I was looking for. They were very timely and organized and gave us sufficient time to see the whole site!

Very good advice from our driver Kiran - very informative on the journey there and back from London. Be aware though, if you book through Viator on an iPhone, the pickup /drop off locations on your tickets are NOT accurate. Be sure to arrive early and make sure you have the correct location - we almost didn’t make it once we discovered the incorrect info.

There wasn't much to it other than a bus ride to the park, then a shuttle bus to the site. There was very little narrative from either driver. Also, the weather was terrible the day we went; cold, rainy, and windy. That's no fault of Viator's obviously, just be prepared. Which we were, but we still didn't stay as long as we would have liked. Also, this is another tour that was changed on us. There was supposed to be a snack included and for some unknown reason, it got changed on us. When we got to the bus the driver explained that it was only for those who reserved the front rows of the bus. My question is, what did I pay for then? I wasn't offered any sort of refund when my reservation was changed. So far Viator is 0 and 2 for changing up my reservation on me.

I think my expectations were a bit high. The coach driver was amazing, he really knows london and pointed out some great things. For Stone Henge itself... you get there, have to get another bus to the sight, cant get close to Stones, just walk around, back to Visitor centre which is very interesting. There was no tour guide for Stone Henge, i was glad i watched a documentary about it, because you were just left to your own devices. Not being able to get close to tge stones, i couldnt get a feel for it. Also we were not dropped back to where we got the bus in London. I found that really annoying.

Great trip, right amount of time at Stonehenge. Self guided tour was a nice way to spend the time. The walk from the visitor center was nice too.
Jordana_B, Jun 2026
It is a long drive to the site. As long as you know, you are going to see pile of rocks then you know what you are getting. It is about four hours of driving to spend about 30 minutes walking around the henge.
Jahzeel_B, Jun 2026
Comfortable on your own tour to Stone hedge. Basic things we need, a comfortable ride back and forth and plenty of time to explore the sight.
Danny_J, Jun 2026
This was a really great trip. Fast and easy trip with time left in the day for other activities. Awesome.
Charmaine_F, Jun 2026
The bus was very old and the screens and charging ports did not work. We felt every bump in the road and it was very cramped. The bathroom on the bus had no toilet tissue. Stonehenge was nice though- very informative I’m glad I was able too to see it but would have chosen another method of getting there.
Emma_y, Jun 2026
The tour guide did not speak English very well and we did not understand much of what was communicated. Also this was described as a tour but in reality was just a bus ride to the site and back. For a tour, you would think there would be descriptions of what we see and do but there was none. There also was no water provided for a 4 hour tour. If it was just described as a bus ride that would be understandable but again it was described as a tour.

Great experience! Perfect amount of time to see Stonehenge. Comfortable coach. Elvio was great and answered everyone’s questions with patience and knowledge!
Victoria_S, Jun 2026
Elicit was a spectacular tour guide! Very informative and quite witty! Made the bus trip pass in no time! Stone Henge was fantastic
Don_C, Jun 2026
Driver was very knowledgeable and made the drive interesting.
Surprised the visitors center in the distance it is from the stones.
Anastasia_R, Jun 2026
Two hours there and about and hour and a half to see site. Then two hours back. Nice and informative bus driver- tour guide.
WAIKIN_L, Jun 2026
Everything is perfect.
Nice vehicle, nice time arrangement, nice driver.
2-hour is the optimum duration for visiting this historical site.
Jelena_R, Jun 2026
The trip to Stonehenge took almost 3 hours (traffic in London was horrible). The driver did the best he could, explained where’s the meeting point and we had aproximately 2 hours to see Stonehenge. It is more than enough, especially if it starts raining. All in all, good experience. The only thing that might affect someone’s experience is the wifi. It didn’t work most of the trip from/to London.

Comfortable coach service from London. Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great experience !
Victor_R, May 2026
Very easy and hassle free. Driver was amazing, take cash to this event. You can find deals. I was not aware. Also take a lot of water too when is hot. Water at site is very expensive.
Terry_R, May 2026
Was truly magical experiencing one of our world’s wonders. Lots of good information there and back from our driver.
Marsha_W, May 2026
The tour is very brief, however, give yourself enough time to see the exhibition as well.
So best time to see it is early morning for the sunrise and also during spring. Less crowds.
Clista_Y, May 2026
very poor customer service. could not find the meeting point. called viator twice trying to find it. they were very rude and unhelpful.
