Travel was very easy and comfortable. They are very precise on time and give clear instructions. I would suggest seeing the Chapel before the castle, as the Chapel closed at 4:00.

Great bus service, easy to redeem my Viator voucher, we were guided to castle received our wrist bands, and received headsets for audio tour. We did have people return late to bus about 15 minutes bus waited so returned us back a little late

This was basically an expensive bus ride. No information about the castle, or what we would be seeing. The guide did not provide adequate information about the site, especially about what time certain parts of the castle close. As a result we missed seeing a large portion of what we had paid to see because they were closing entries into the state apartments. It was extremely disappointing.

I’m in London for a week and wanted a simple trip to Windsor. Basically, I needed a ride, and didn't want to figure out how to get there, hop on buses and trains and then make my way back.
For a very reasonable price that covered admission and transportation, I hopped on the coach and let Evan Evans Tours handle the rest. The coach was warm and comfortable on a very cold day, and I had a very pleasant ride.
Steven oversaw the trip. He got us off the coach, escorted us through the town and handed us off for the security screening. He was careful to walk us through what to expect inside the castle grounds- where to pick up audio tour packages and that St George’s Chapel was closing early.
We had plenty of time to tour the different sites. Before I headed back to the coach, I popped into the quaint shops and made it back to the lot where our nice warm ride was waiting for us.
The pick up and drop off is adjacent to Victoria Station, so it was a breeze to get home.
I highly recommend this tour!

The “tour” was basically just a bus ride from London to Windsor Castle. The coach did make for a nice ride but for the price you pay (Paid $183 for 2 people which included a $17 discount) you could do it on your own and not be so rushed. We took the 1 o’clock bus which got to Windsor at about 2:30 PM. We really only had an hour and a half to see St. George’s Chapel and Windsor Castle due to the fact that the chapel closes at 3:30 and Windsor at 4:15. Would’ve been much better to go on our own and get there early in the morning. A private Uber ride is about $50 each way. You can save even more by taking the train there. You can purchase tickets to Windsor Castle, which includes an audio tour, for about $32 online or 35 at the door. What was probably most disappointing was that there was absolutely no commentary from the “Tour guide” during the 90 minute ride to or from the castle. Save yourself money and do it on your own.

The visit to Windsor was excellent, but the “guide” never introduced himself, never mentioned anything during the ride to Windsor, and left us at the site with minimal information on how to return to the bus. It was quiet stressful.

Excellent tour of Windsor Castle, tickets included, but the time to see the castle was only two hours, by the time the bus arrived in the parking lot until we had to leave. Wish we had more time there!

It was a dream to finally see Windsor Castle in person. Sadly, all we got to see was St George’s Chapel. There wasn’t time for anything else. We also were suppose to have had a tea service as part of our package. Nothing. It wasn’t what we had thought it would be as far as what we had booked and paid for. But, seeing the history there was beautiful! Paying our respects to the late monarchs was very moving.

It took 2 hours to drive to Windsor Castle on a Wednesday and another 2 hours to return to the bus stop, leaving us with ONLY 2 hours to tour the entire castle.
Bus air conditioning was on high throughout the return drive with frigid air below 60 degrees. Driver would not adjust the air conditioning. Evan Evans “tour guide” provided zero narration while on the bus and was merely a a group leader to get us into the castle.

Once we arrived at the departure point, there was very little communication about what to expect. We were in a crowded waiting room with guests from other tours. We weren't directed to the bus until several minutes after the stated departure time of 1:00 pm, even though we were told that boarding would begin at 12:45. The guide never communicated with us on the way to Windso Castle. He didn't share any history or hints about our visit, nor did he explain anything about our route from the bus to the castle. Taking this bus tour was merely an alternative form of transfer to Windsor Castle. Nevertheless, our visit to the castle was very enjoyable.

First of all, the actual Audio Tour was perfect and the amount of time we were there was fine. The problem that we had with the tour was the host that accompanied us. When we got there and the coach parked we were rushed to keep up with him. A flag would have been very helpful as there are so many people. Once we were done, we headed back to the bus and got lost. The Host should meet us at the end to help us get back. The shopping area is huge with lots of vendors and as we were rushed to get to the castle it was hard to remember landmarks.

Not enough time!! Poorly managed and poorly advertised experience. Should only have 1 tour per day to fit everything. The guide was informative but as she was unable to go into castle we were uninformed about the history and had no time to collect headset (weren’t told we had to).

Booked 10 months ago on a specific day so I could see St George Chapel. We rode a bus 1 hour there and 1.5 back. Rushed through the state rooms skipped Mary's Doll House so I could get to the chapel. Our guide said you must be there before 4 pm. We got there are 3:30 to find it was closed for a special event. I asked for a refund or at least partial from Viatar. They looked into it and said no refund. I took myself and a friend. $200 and a wasted day.

Seeing the state apartments in Windsor Castle! St George’s Chapel was beautiful and to see the Queen and Prince Philip’s final resting place was a memory I’ll never forget.

This trip was fun. This trip could be done more affordably on your own by taking the train from London and purchasing your entry ahead of time. The tour guide is unable to lead the trip once in Windsor Castle -you have to use the provided Audio guide. Our guide Sheila did provide a lot of information and history on the way out of London and upon entry into Windsor. Our driver Sam was a great driver and personable.
