This was a lovely day,...
This was a lovely day, geared towards fans of the show (which I am!). The bus ride was full of behind the scenes details and re watches of episodes so it passed quickly. Russell, our guide, was knowledgeable about the show and so kind and fun. He gave us a great outline of the day and managed everything wonderfully. Bampton was so pretty and Highclere was stunning. Loved it.

How to see all Westminster Abbey, St James Park and surrounds in 3 hrs
London Day 1 – Finding Our Feet We began with a guided walking tour taking in Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, St James’s Park and Palace, Pall Mall, Clarence House, and Buckingham Palace. Seeing these famous landmarks in person after years of only watching them on TV was pretty special. A real highlight was unexpectedly coming across rehearsals for Trooping the Colour.

We had a wonderful tour...
We had a wonderful tour by one of Saint Paul Cathedral‘s docents. The Tours only go every few hours so be sure to check the times and arrive early to make sure you get on a tour. Allow plenty of time for exploring either before or after the tour. We also climbed 528 steps to the top of the dome for the views of London, which were fantastic. For the tour, the climb and additional time to explore allow three hours.

Excellent guided history tour
This was an excellent way to see London for the first time! Our tour guide Eric was fantastic! His knowledge and passion for London and its history really shined thru. He was quite thorough in his information, the walking was extensive but he made it very interesting and fun! I would highly recommend this tour--just make sure to wear comfortable shoes!!
