This was a great tour, about 7 hours of sightseeing at a reasonable price. The guide's narration was not spectacular but very informative. The scenery was terrific and the ride was smooth with enough stops to make it comfortable. One caveat, although Viator sent a confirmation and a QR code for the tour, the tour operator indicated that it might not happen if not enough people signed up.

This was a wonderful excursion for us. Coco was so personable. She was very knowledgeable about the whole area we were traveling. Her van was clean and comfortable. She and her daughter are the only ones that takes the groups around. They both are just precious! When we go back to Kaua'i we will use her company again to learn more about the area. You will not go wrong with Coco!

We traveled with Shasta, who was energetic, patient, informative, and flexible, and who excelled at bringing our group together. The itinerary was perfect, including the dining experience at the Plantations. Although it was a long day, the time flew by, and we learned so much about the island and its culture.

We booked this tour for our first day on the island and I would highly recommend you do the same. It's great way to get a general layout of where everything is and to plan for places you want to go back to while on your trip. Coco Maria was fantastic and gave us so many tips and ideas for how to spend the remainder of our trip. Her extensive knowledge living on the island for so long was truly helpful to us. Her love and knowledge of the island's history also enriched our time there and inspired us to plan another Polynesian adventure. This is time and money well spent to enhance the rest of your trip! We will be looking forward to seeing her again on our next visit to Kauai'i!

Coco made this the best excursion of the week. Even with the unpredictable weather, we did everything and more! The best part was taking a stop at Hanapepe, a treasured town where Lilo & Stitch took place. Coco was an excellent guide, very fun. knowledgeable, and hilarious. Wished I would have booked a second excursion with her, but if we ever return to Kauai, I will definitely book another excursion with her. A must for anyone who has never been to Kauai!!

Communicating with Coco was so easy! Instructions were clear and direct. The folks who shared the tour with us were lively and quick-witted... It's our impression that a FUN time was had by ALL! Coco has lived on Kauai for 25 years. The TOUR covered great sites of interest, such as the Tree Tunnel, Spouting Horn, and Waimea Canyon. Coco was quite knowledgeable about the area's history, and we loved her stories associated with the folklore of Kauai. My favorite stop was Hanapepe Town. The "step-back-in-time" was a refreshing reminder of simpler, more friendly days and customs. We also enjoyed our last stop at the Kauai Coffee Plantation. Mmmmmm... the smell and taste of freshly roasted coffee... YUMMY!! Thanks, Coco, for a wonderful, interesting, laugh-filled day. "Uncle" John was a HOOT! We hope to see you again...

Our tour guide Coco Mary was amazing from start to end. Her warm and very friendly personality made the tour super fun and engaging! The fact that none of us dozed off during the tour shows how interesting it was. And it was a very rare tour that we actually mingled comfortably with the other travelers from other countries too. I highly recommend her if you want a personalized tour of Kauai.

Although our group had to contend with rain all day and traffic issues Coco adapted the tour to provide the best possible experience under the conditions. She is exceptionally knowledgeable of all facets of Island culture and history. She was great at meeting each individuals personal needs in this day long excursion of both hotel and cruise ship passengers. Coco, our tour guide, was so personable (even got a heartfelt hug good-bye from her, so sweet) funny and knowledgeable about all things Hawaii! We learned so much and covered a lot of ground in our tour with her. The only thing keeping this from a five-star review were the cloudy conditions at the top of Wimea Canyon blocking any views, which of course is out of anyone's control, and the flies at the outside eating areas at the Chicken in a Barrel lunch stop.

A pleasant relaxed small group tour.

We booked our excursion independent of our cruise ship and met our host ,Marie , at the Market Mall , a short stroll from the cruise port . As we got underway , Our host had us introduce ourselves to one another as a way to break the ice since some of us were from "Pride of America" and some not . Marie related local legends and history and kept us well informed . We always had time for photo opportunities, and made sure we made it to the bake shoppe in Hanapepe before they sold out. The main lookout at Waimea Canyon was closed due to being part of a crime scene investigation but our guide did not disappoint and took us to another vantage point . All told , our experience was very positive and having perfect weather was an added plus . We never felt rushed at any of our stops and were dropped off at the cruise port after our excursion .Well done !

Even more impressive, our ship arrived in port 2 1/2 hours late due to a medical emergency and somehow Coco arranged with the other passengers to wait for us! Waimea canyon and multiple stops to view was spectacular. Guide was awesome- knowledgeable and fun. The waterfall and lava tube spouting horn were great stops too as was the town with the swinging bridge. Did not like the pick up arrangement. Originally told we would be picked up at the pier by someone with a sign. That changed to 15 min walk to a location that was described, but unsettling as not really sure we were in the right spot.

Great variety of things to see on this tour! Waimea canyon was breathtakingly beautiful. Also saw so many other things including a huge waterfall, blowhole and small town of hanapepe with lots of cool stores. Our guide was fun and interactive with lots of knowledge of the island and people.
