Chris was AMAZING! He has a gift for spotting wildlife and his skill with the telescope for photos and videos is unsurpassed. He knows and freely shares the history and traditions of Costa Rica. The hike to, and especially from the waterfall is no joke - those 500 steps are a true challenge, especially for us 69 year old seasoned hikers. Luckily for our group, Carlos was the fearless leader of the pack. This all-day, multi-faceted excursion definitely provides a great and broad perspective of Costa Rica’s Pura Vida.

Manny was a great guide! The excursion was very entertaining. We saw iguana, sloths, frogs, viper, toucans, and hummingbirds. The ride was great the drive was skilled and safe! Got us there and back safely and fast! The lunch good. Excursion to the coffee and cacao making tour was informative. How they process it and make it from bean to cup! Perfect to see it all with kids

A great mix of seeing a little bit of everything the area offers with a bit of knowledge of nature mixed in. My 4 year old was able to handle the hiking (mild carrying her through the canopy tour). Got to see the rainforest, where we saw snakes, monkeys, birds, and tarantulas. The waterfall the was beautiful. And the volcano was very educational. Lunch was good and offered a kid option as well

Don't Leave Costa Rica Before Doing This Tour!

This was an incredibly fun adventure! Our guide was great and we were on 3 different terrains. One thing I would suggest is a bit more instructions on how you handle the ATV when you get to uneven areas. Using the brake at the wrong time, versus just letting up on the gas is an important detail. I did get banged once. But all was well. Would highly recommend this tour!

He was extremely knowledgeable about Costa Rica, the wildlife, the history, and the area, and he made the entire experience both fun and educational. Most importantly, we always felt safe and well taken care of. Bernie was attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable throughout the entire excursion. The best time!

We had the best time! This was an amazing experience. We traveled with a party of 7 including 3 kids. The class 2/3 was perfect for the whole family. The kids had a blast! And out captain Colon was awesome! Spotted lots of wildlife while floating on the calmer areas of the river also which was a cool bonus! The fruit stop was delicious and the food provided in our tour was amazing also! If you want to do any rafting in the area I highly recommend!!!!

This was such a fun and...

This was such a fun and adventurous experience for my active family (kids ages 10 and 13). Each rappel was different but all led to the large 230 foot rappel. The guides made us feel very safe and did not pressure you into doing the biggest rappel. They also made recommendations based on skill. For example, my 10 year old opted just to watch the rest of us do the biggest rappel and that was just fine. A must-do for those who love a bit of adventure and stepping out of your comfort zone in a safe environment. We have Keen type closed toe sandal shoes but opted to wear running shoes with good tread as the rocks are slippery. Happy we did. Also, prepare to get soaked and to hike. Would not be a good fit for those who suffer from knee/ankle problems or for those who are very out of shape.
