Beautiful day out on the water. Met new friends, everyone on board was friendly and happy. Crew was amazing. The meal on the catamaran was lovely and the sunset breathtaking. We loved everything about this excursion. I highly recommend it.

The crew of the Marlin del Rey took great care of us from start to finish. The boat was clean and comfortable. The scenery and the sunset were outstanding. The snorkeling was fabulous. The drinks flowed non-stop and the food was tasty. Our whole group had a wonderful time. Would book this adventure again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful! It was a beautiful catamaran. Bar service was super and food was great! We saw dolphins and humpback whales! The staff were friendly and fun!

Good catamaran experience. Be aware that you will not be able to wear your shoes on the boat. They will keep them in a bin for you. A couple falls were noted as it was difficult for some people to maintain balance. Great crew, helpful and drinks are plentiful! Don't expect great snorkeling but a refreshing, relaxing time in the water seeing a few fish. Beautiful sunset on well maintained boat.

Wonderful experience! The only potential downside is if someone doesn’t like crowds, the boat can get a fair amount of people on there, which can also add to the fun, but if you want a more private experience than that might be a distraction. Food was good, beautiful surroundings, saw sea turtle, and humpback whale!

Fantastic experience for the sunset cruise and snorkel. We loved the boat and the views along the way. Snorkeling didn’t have great visibility but still a wonderful experience with excellent staff on the boat.

We loved our cruise. It was a small group, the food was yummy, open bar, good snorkel, great sunset views. The crew was friendly & helpful. The boat was comfortable & wasn't overly full. When leaving from Coco you board a small boat directly from the shore so you do need to be able to step up, or kind of sit & swivel, to get to the boat.

Wonderful time spent sailing out to the snorkeling spot. Drinks were served for a relaxing chill vibe. And seeing sea turtles along the way was thrilling. The snorkeling on our particular day was not as one would hope. But enjoyable nonetheless. Diving/jumping/sliding off of the catamaran made for a fun afternoon. The lunch served was surprisingly delicious and fresh. And for the finale, the sunset on the return trip was spectacular. We were lucky enough to have dolphins join us!

The boat was super clean and they were attentive to our needs, always bringing us drinks, and taking empty cups. One time my mom stood up and didn’t ask for anything but the guy brought a cushion for her and somehow knew exactly what she needed. The food was delicious! Everyone was super nice. There could have just been a little more instruction on the snorkeling. It was really windy the day we went so the water was a little murky.

The crew was amazing and the ride so peaceful and beautiful. They keep drinks coming to you and there are plenty of places to sit and have a great view, even with a mostly-full tour. Due to rains, we didn't see much while snorkeling, but the ride was so amazing, we didn't care. This is a great way to end a trip!

Our family of 6 enjoyed this Sunset Cruise! The ride out to the cove was amazing. We were able to see a dolphin pair jumping around, sea turtles, and even caught sight of some kind of flying fish (looked like it ran on water). This was one of the highlights of our trip. It was relaxing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We recommend taking time to slow down and enjoy some time on the water!

What a fun day with a great crew! The crew worked hard to find us marine life - we saw mating sea turtles and spotted a hump back whale from afar. Drinks were plentiful and they made sure our cups were never empty the entire time! The snorkel area was beautiful and there was time to swim or play on the beach if we got tired of snorkeling. Lunch is definitely a bit later than a typical lunch, so be sure to not come super hungry, but it was delicious! We sailed back to the drop location as we watched the sun set. We would definitely do this tour again!

Marlin del Rey and the crew are top notch. The boat is large and comfortable even with a larger group. Drinks flowed with options for both adults and kids, and the vibe was lively but not a booze cruise type crowd. Arriving at our private beach and snorkeling area, the crew dropped anchor and served up a delicious meal while we spent some time jumping off the boat and swimming in the crystal waters. Sail up, we cruised back to Tamarindo as the sunset. Highly recommend for all! A must do experience while visiting Costa Rica… Pura Vida!

The crew was great! Played good music and took us to one cove to dive. Tried to find some wildlife but had no luck. That’s okay though. Definitely out of their control. They feed you lunch after you snorkel which was nice. I highly recommend this tour!

The tour was a wonderful, relaxing experience. We really liked the beach and the chance to swim and snorkel. The staff was very good. We had a wonderful lunch. Even though we missed the sunset due to rain, I would still recommend this trip.

OK, so people should know that yes there are bathrooms on board and yes, there is a very large interior space that is anhades annd not hot and that the netting is not rope but is smooth canvas. 😍Everybody else covers how great the staff is and how good the drinks are and that the food is absolutely fine. Highly recommend. No towels provided, fyi. Where we snow snorkel, I saw at least 20 different varieties of fish and saw two different octopuses! 🐙 🐙
