This tour was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The sloth tour was the highlight—we were just a meter away from a baby sloth! It was such a rare and magical moment. Our sloth guide, Pablo, was amazing—knowledgeable, passionate, and clearly dedicated to protecting the wildlife.
Our overall guide for the day (also named Pablo) was fantastic—friendly, engaging, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
The waterfall stop was breathtaking, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. And the interactive cacao and coffee tour was such a treat. We learned so much about the growing and production process and got to taste incredibly fresh cacao and coffee—some of the best we’ve had.
This tour was the perfect blend of nature, wildlife, and culture, and it was made even better by the fantastic guides. Absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

Gino and Gil were phenomenal. Gino went above and beyond to make sure we could see as much wildlife as possible, we even got to see a toucan!

Amazing experience. Jose and Mauricio were amazing. Jose was fantastic and getting close up pictures is the wildlife through the scope and Mauricio had eagle eyes spotting several types of monkeys in the trees on the way home and stopping to allow pictures. We saw monkeys, frogs, sloths, and toucans and enjoyed the tours at each stop.

Amazing! It felt like an easy and doing trip! Loved the chocolate and coffee tour, very educational! Will definitely recommend it to my friends! Saw a snake, some frogs, sloths, etc. kids (7 and 9) loved it. Going to the waterfall might be challenging for someone with back or leg related problems.Orland and Alejandro ddid amazing job!

We had a group of 9 people, including an 8-year-old. Our guide, Jose, and driver Mauricio were great. We received an email stating what time we would be picked up, and they showed up on time, in a very clean and well-maintained vehicle. They were very friendly, very well informed about all of the things we wanted to learn about Costa Rica, and always treated us with respect while making us feel comfortable. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to see the wildlife and tour the coffee and chocolate factory.

the trip was so much fun! we were with a small group of people from different hotels around tamarindo. alejandro and orlando were amazing guides. we felt very safe and learned a lot about the area as well as wildlife. we saw sloths, frogs, snakes, and other things! the waterfall was surprisingly our favorite part. the water was cool and refreshing. you have to go down some stairs to get there, but they are an easy climb. you will have to climb them back up to get back to the bus. the chocolate and coffee part was actually so much fun. our tour guide was funny and knowledgeable. the coffee was delicious and came with small snacks. the lunch was nice! we suggest the pulled beef in sauce. it was like brisket! overall, this was a great tour. we could not suggest alejandro and orlando enough!

The experience was great, exactly how it was described. Our guides, Gino and Orlando, made it top notch and changed things up on the fly as they knew what stops would have more ppl. The main highlight was seeing a sloth so close and allowing time to take pictures and not feel rushed.

Excellent experience all around. Timely pickup/dropoff, comfortable transportation, knowledgeable and extremely friendly guide, and well rounded itinerary which included a bit of everything! Carlos was a phenomenal tour guide and Maria at the rainforest sloth tour was an outstanding wildlife spotter and resource! Excellent trip for families with young kids. Highly recommend considering the private tour option which we considered a great value and well worth the additional cost.

Had the best day exploring the beautiful waterfalls, watching the howler monkeys in the trees then going to watch sloths. We saw Sloths, poison eyelash vipor snake, poison frogs, nocturnal frogs, howler monkeys, many birds and more. Seeing the sloths and other wildlife was a highlight of my trip- so awesome. Our guides both named Jose were excellent and Jose was very informative throughout the day. We would never have spotted the wildlife on our own but they had them spotted out for us. We had a wonderful Costa Rican lunch and we would do this tour again.

Great excursion! Communication was good, pickup was earlier than expected but that was fine, we were the first van to make it the waterfall! We didn’t need bug spray or ponchos, I imagine that varies by time of year. Driver and guide (Boom) were great! We had such a wonderful day and saw sloths, frogs, hummingbird nests, bats, vipers. Hania, our guide on the nature tour was amazing. I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone. The most strenuous part was steps down and up from waterfall.

The tour was fantastic. Alejandro, our guide, shared great insights as we traveled to each stop, making the experience even richer. The experience provides a superior variety of activties that speak flora, fauna, and geography of Costa Rica. Carlos, the driver and guide, made experience exceptional.
I was traveling solo on this activity but made 8 new human friends while making acquaintance with 3-toed sloth, a few howler monkeys, and a red-eyed green tree frog near a notable spring of water.

I learned about the coffee and cocoa beans' processes and got to taste them! All our guides were great and answered my questions. We splashed in the waterfalls and I got great photos thru their viewfinders of the animals we saw... snake, sloths, toucans. The fish at the restaurant was delicious.

This tour was amazing and fit in so many fun stops! Jose and Orlando were wonderful hosts and made it super fun. Loved seeing the sloths. Definitely bring a rain jacket. There are bathrooms at the waterfall for changing. Chocolate and Coffee tasting was superb!

Waterfall was beautiful and was able to see and get great pics of monkeys, sloths, frogs, and an eyelash viper. José and Angel made the travel informative and fun. However, bring appropriate medicine if prone to motion sickness; some of the roads are twisty and bumpy. Coffee and chocolate tour was educational and interesting, and the samples were great. Capped the day off with traditional Costa Rican lunch with views of one of the volcanoes.

Wonderful Experience. Our driver Carlos was great. We were picked up on time from the hotel. Driver was professional and knowledgeable. Safe driving as well!
