It's a good way to do...

It's a good way to do multiple activities in one go - Arenal volcano view (weather permitting), hike, hanging bridges, La Fortuna waterfall. Our guide Catalina was knowledgeable and was able to spot many animals for us throughout the day, including: spider monkey (mom and baby), sloth, pit viper, vulture, squirrel, tarantula, toucan, glass frog. The view point of Arenal volcano is a nice spot to take pictures and get a drink from the café, but the weather didn't give us the clearest view. Hanging bridges was probably my favorite activity on this tour, where we saw a lot of animals that I mentioned. Catalina is able to spot them quickly, get the scope set up and focused, then allow us to see them. Lunch at the soda was fine and a good time to refuel after all the walking. The end of the tour is the waterfall. Take a nice dip to cool off after the previous activities. Be sure to wear water shoes or sandals with grip as the rocks are slippery. Going down from the entrance to the waterfall is cake but going back up the steps can be tough if you're not in shape. There are benches to rest at along the way, if needed. Overall, this is a great tour to spend some time doing more than one activity in one day.

Amazing experience. The drive was beautiful, nice big air conditioned bus. Joshua was an amazing guide. We went on an amazing speedboat and saw dolphins. The snorkeling was so fun and we saw all kinds of fish. Beautiful water, strong sun, an amazing day trip.

Not to Miss Day!

Very fun family day!! Our guides Bernie and our awesome driver with the fun tunes gave us a wonderful and educational fun filled day. Zip lining was fun, followed by an educational presentation with local families and artisans, then a very fun horseback ride to the edge of the jungle and the 1 mile long waterside! Make sure you tell them you want the tsunami ride! Lunch was fantastic and all local grown vegetables and beef stew that even impressed this German girl! Off to the natural hot springs with a volcanic mud bath and a natural sauna all fueled by the magma from the volcano. So interesting … plus, we got to see Spider monkeys and a green vine snake. Apparently no Toucans today because it was not cloudy and drizzling but that’s OK. Sloths aren’t in this area either, so you’ll need that for another day. However this is a not to miss tour on your trip to Costa Rica. Pura Vida!

Do Not Skip Out on This One!

Today my family and I had the opportunity to have our tour lead by Diego and Roney. They are the best guides we have ever had. Their passion and knowledge make the day very enjoyable and they made sure the entire group learned and had a great time. From visiting the waterfalls and touring the Arenal Volcano, there was much to experience and learn. I couldn’t expect any more out of this experience. I highly recommend Diego and Roney and this experience in Costa Rica.

There are multiple tours...

There are multiple tours here that cover both coffee and chocolate and this one gives good coverage in both. There's multiple opportunities to taste different coffees, chocolates, sugar cane juice. I discovered that chocolate and tajin is a pairing that I enjoy. This a good opportunity to get more insight on the history of coffee as it pertains to Costa Rica, as well as the steps from bean to cup. You can even purchase the beans and chocolate from their store that produced on site.

Great Start to our Honeymoon

Not as scary as I thought

Great experience from start to finish. Our guide in the bus was informative yet entertaining when it came to giving us the breakdown of what to expect/rules. He went so in depth that it actually made me nervous to do it. Once on the water, all my anxieties went away. It helps that o was in a raft with two kids, so I think our raft guide took it easy on us, which I’m so grateful for! Everyone from the company that I interacted with was kind (all dudes though) until the very end. The lunch after was also very good! We also spotted a sloth at the fruit store on the way to the river

Safety, experience and support!

Our experience was amazing! The place and the views are beautiful, the safety makes you feel super comfortable, the knowledge and patience of the guys is an extra that gives you the confident to enjoy. My daughter suffers motion sickness and gets a little anxious but wanted to face the fear and do it, and at the last one started feeling sick and throwing up and the guys were super patient with her, waited for us without rushing us and making her feel better right away! My daughters loved the experience and loved everything about it!

This trip was a lot of...

This trip was a lot of fun. I thought the boat would be crowded, but once we were all on it didn’t feel like it. The guides were accommodating and fun. The snorkeling was amazing, especially for our kids who had never done it before. The meal was very nice. My only suggestion would be not to call it lunch, or note the approximate timing of things on the agenda. We boarded around 1 and were expecting “lunch”, but it wasn’t served until after we snorkeled around 4:00. By then we were very hungry. All in all, a fun afternoon.

Great for all ages!

Great experience! Boat was very clean and well maintained. Crew was incredibly kind to everyone. Ages on board ranged from 8 to 84 and everyone enjoyed it! Food was delicious! My teenagers who are picky, went back for seconds. Snorkeling was good, swimming in the cove was nice and drinks were very good. We’d do this again!

Fun family activity

We did the 12 zip line activity. I had never done a zip line before so I was a bit nervous. The set up is professional and safe. Staff was great and an extra shoutout to Luis and Alonso for their kindness and help. A few tips Wear bike shorts or workout leggings ladies Plan to get dirty This is not for those out of shape or with physical limitations. The hike up is challenging and you have to do that to each elevation.

Amazing experience, must book for Costa Rica!!

Amazing experience. Tour guide was very kind and knowledgeable about the park. All of the activities were good and not too rushed. Tubing was amazing and a good mix of both relaxing and bit exhilarating. Only thing is the horseback ride felt a bit short (but I just really love horses lol), but still a great experience and the horses were very well behaved and taken care of. Best excursion I’ve ever done, so much in one day. Picked up and dropped off right by our Airbnb. Thanks again!!
