Fun-Filled Day in Roatan!

We had a fabulous time with our guide, Alanis, and driver, Moses. Alanis shared many details of local life with us as we drove around the area. The van was air-conditioned, clean and comfortable. We learned about schools, energy, industries, shopping, history and funny nicknames of local spots. The monkey and sloth stop was so much fun. Being able to interact with the baby monkeys was a blast even in the pouring rain. (A shout out to DJ, who was our tour guide at that stop!) The enclosures were covered so the rain was not a huge problem and even helped to cool us off. I would suggest always taking a rain slicker if you are going to do any tour when rainy season has started or is about to start. The chocolate factory was interesting and we picked up some treats to bring home. The rum stop was tasty as well. The last beach stop allowed us to enjoy the water or just sit and enjoy a snack and beverage. The one thing I will say is finding the spot to meet can be a bit overwhelming. You have to leave the port area and walk through a lot of vendors all wanting your business. I knew from our excursion the day before to look for the local name and not Viator. I printed the instructions on how to get there and that was a huge help. I would recommend taking bug spray, small bills in cash, a hat, a carry bag for shopping (the paper bags they give are thin and tear easily), and a rain slicker. Overall, this was a fabulous day for us because our guide and driver were so wonderful, engaging and helpful.

Great time!

We had a great time! Guillermo picked us up right outside of the port gate and we took a short 2 minute walk to his car. He drove us around the town, pointing out important sites and places while on our tour. We spent as much time as we wanted at each stop and we enjoyed talking to Guillermo and learning about life on the island. Would definitely recommend taking a tour like this over a cruise scheduled excursion.

The tour was a great experience overall. Tyler was a wonderful tour guide and made the tour even better with his local knowledge and concern for our wishes. Absolutely loved every minute of it. Carlos our driver with MJ Tours was amazing! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was a very safe driver and stopped at tourist locations where we could take a family photo. The animal sanctuary is a perfect place to stop with the family and West Bay Beach was extremely nice and not crowded. MJ Tours also gave us each an ice cold water to stay cool.

Roatan adventure

We had an amazing experience on this excursion from our cruise ship. Roatan Tucan Adventures was the tour company and Kenisa was our tour guide. She did an exceptional job taking care of our group of six. She was very informative about the area and educated us every step of the way. Loved the animal sanctuary. It was so fun! The guide there named David was very informative. Then we went to the beach club at West Bay and the snorkeling was simply the best! Everyone was overwhelmed by the beauty. Two of us got massages at the beach club that were outstanding. Overall this was the best excursion we had ever done and Kenisa was the cherry on top!

Private driver and a personalized Roatan visit

Our driver Christian was absolutely amazing! You decide what you want to do and/or see and your private driver will take you. Air conditioned vehicle was super nice and we felt safe the entire day. We did an ATV tour, chocolate making stop and took amazing pictures from the highest point on the island. We also saw sloths and monkeys. Amazing!!! If you are in Roatan, this is the tour to take!!! Ask for Christian to be your driver and you won’t be disappointed. One of the best excursions we’ve ever been on. Roaton Ocean Adventures is the safest way to go

Roatán Ocean Adventures is the only way to experience this port- they are highly regarded by everyone in the island, have the most professional staff, will give your group a guide and driver that stays with you all day and meets your needs. The sanctuary and beach were amazing and I would recommend it to everyone- with the caveat that ROA be the tour group to take you. We were safe and well cared for.

Fun for the whole family!

Our family absolutely loved the Roatán Anderson Zip Line and Monkey Tour! This was easily the most fun excursion of our trip so far. The zip lining was a blast, and getting up close with the monkeys and other animals made the experience even better. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and made sure our family had a great time from start to finish. Well worth the time and money.

Roatan Ocean Adventures is an amazing local company. Communication was great, everyone was so friendly, and we had such a great day in Roatan. There are no words for how incredible the snorkeling was, and I've snorkeled a lot! It's open water, so if you're not a strong swimmer, ask for the life jacket and noodle!!

Highly recommend! Best excursion in Roatan Honduras!!

Absolutely the Best experience in Roatan Honduras!! We received great communication prior to and the day of excursion. The directions that were given to us made it very easy to find our guide who was waiting for us outside the cruise port. Our guide, Joe Black, was friendly, hospitable, knowledgeable, and genuinely went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience from start to finish. He talked about the history of Roatan while on our drive to the animal sanctuary where we got to interact with a variety of species of monkeys, birds, and butterflies. We were able to feed and hold moneys and toucans and learn all about them. It was a magical experience getting to interact with the animals so closely. Joe Black took us to a place with a gorgeous overlook and shopping vendors. On the way to the ATV’s we also stopped at a place where you could buy local products from Roatan and enjoyed some homemade ice cream. When we got to the atvs the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful getting us geared up to go on our off-road adventures. Our teenagers had the time of their life riding around in the muddy jungle and once our time was up we had access to showers, snacks, and drinks. The highlight of the adventure was the private beach club that Joe Black took us to after. The pools, beaches, inflatables, snorkel, and facilities of the resort were breathtaking and provided a luxury afternoon for all of us. Joe Black met us at the lobby when our time was up and made sure he got us back to the cruise port in time for our departure. I highly recommend booking this excursion and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again in the future!

Great family day amd break from the beach

We had an incredible day, one of our favorite days on the island! Glavin was our driver. He met us, was friendly and awesome, gave us great history, knowledge, and background of the island. He also inquired about what we had done and not done our week so far and made a couple of suggestions of things we hadn't done and added that onto the back end of the day for us. It was incredible. He let us kind of customize how long we spent at Pristine Beach Club and never rushed us once all day long. The ATV was awesome, the zip line was awesome. The sanctuary with the animals, the sloths, the monkeys, everything, was great. The stop at Pristine Bay was beautiful amd we enjoyed the pool and lunch, and then the chocolate factory on the way home back to West Bay. ThanksbGlavin, for a great day. Highly recommend.
