- All ATV/Rhino Tours will require that a credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) voucher be taken and kept on file until the vehicle is returned in the same condition in which it was rented. Once the vehicle has been returned safely to our shop in the same condition in which it was rented, your voucher will either be returned to you, or destroyed on the spot, whichever you prefer. You must bring the required number of credit cards with you to Adventure Tours Costa Rica on the day of your ATV/Rhino tour. The number of credit cards required for your ATV Tour with us are as follows: 1 - 4 vehicles -1 card with a hold of $1000 5 – 8 vehicles - 2 cards with hold of $1000 each 9 – 12 vehicles – 3 cards with a hold of $1000 each.
- Recommended to Bring: Camera, Closed-toed shoes (tennis shoes, etc), Clothes you can get dirty (shorts/t-shirts), Swimsuits, Sunscreen, Bug spray (though not necessary)
- Children under 4 years old can't ride
- Will be operated by a multi-lingual guide (Spanish and English)
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Trail conditions and rider ability may alter routes; therefore any features described herein may not be available for each tour. Please speak directly with your guide on the day of your tour for an up-to-date description of the expected route, as conditions can change on a daily basis.
- ATV drivers must be 16 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license
- No flip flops, sandals, or open-toed shoes
- Unlicensed participants and children under 16 must ride as passengers
- Minimum drinking age in Costa Rica is 18 years
- The number of ATV passengers in your group may not outnumber the ATV drivers
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

We had a great time on our tour with Jordan! The trails and path up to the waterfall was a lot of fun to ride, the views were amazing and we stopped for a snack and some delicious drinks at the top of the mountain. Jordan was super friendly and a lot of fun to chat with. He also pointed out some toucans we saw along the way and showed us some trap door spiders. I highly recommend him.
Be sure to jump in the pool underneath the waterfall to rinse off the dust and sweat, it's very refreshing!

The views were amazing. Our guide, Will, was so helpful and patient. Expect to get dirty, and you may want to bring a face cover and glasses. We would definitely recommend!

We were guided up a cliff to a waterfall on ATVs. I had some trouble at first driving, and the guide gave me great tips that made me feel safer and learn faster!

I booked this excursion for my boyfriend and I’s first time trying ATVs and it was the best. The mountain views were stunning and it was so easy to get the hang of the ATV. The best part was Kiko, our guide. He was amazing and super helpful throughout the entire trip. He even stopped by to point out a Toucan and encouraged us to take more photos. We stopped by a local restaurant in the mountains and the view + smoothies + empanada was an amazing combination. We also got to swim in the waterfall, which was a great way to cool down because it was a very hot and sunny day. I also loved how it was just one other group with us so it was very personal. It was such a memorable experience and we loved every second!

This is extraordinary adventure. I went with my husband and two kids ( 8 and 5) it was so much fun. Loved the off roading with bumps and we saw monkeys in the trees!!! The guide was super friendly and helpful and made the experience awesome!

One of the best excursions we’ve done in our lives!! SO much fun and so gorgeous!! It’s so nice how your group gets their own tour guide. It was just my husband and I so it felt super intimate. We chose to go to the natural pool over the waterfall and it was beautiful and super refreshing.

It was ok. The trail is VERY dusty so the tour company should have advised or provide disposable face mask. Included in the tour was pictures along the way to be provided to us within 5-7 days after our trip. We never got them!! Terrible becuase we left an extremely high tip for our guide since he took a lot of pictures for us in his phone.

Super fun experience. You will get dirty/dusty so be prepared in the event you need a change for the ride back home in whatever vehicle you took to get there. Guides were great.

We were 6 adults and had a great experience with the ATV ride. Our guides Denis and Emmanuel took care of the trip very well which helped our ride. The ride was real experience of ATV ride thru hard terrains, small mountains which was really adventurous for us. We stopped at Jaco falls and a quick dip there which was refreshing in the middle of the ride. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Jaco. This will be fun for family or friends..

Great adventure with our guide Jorge! We rode great trails through meadows then up the hills to the top where we saw beautiful waterfalls and jumped in. Cool and refreshing! Headed back and stopped at a little restaurant for tacos that we bought! Then back down the trails to end our 3 hour adventure. Jorge took photos and videos with our phones! Great memories!!!

What a fun adventure! The ride was awesome and the waterfall was beautiful! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the areas we rode thru. Even took us to a local soda on top of the mountain to see some spectacular views.

We ended up being the only people on our tour, but that didn’t stop us from having an excellent time! We rode with Denis, who was a friendly and patient guide! He was very funny and even helped us brush up on some new Spanish terms. He was watchful for obstacles and made sure we always felt safe. We stopped for incredible views from the tops of the mountains and mid ride we enjoyed a quick swim in a beautiful and refreshing waterfall! After the waterfall we were given the option to drive a bit further to a restaurant with a stunning view. I definitely recommend stopping in for a drink and/or snack!
It is a bit dusty in the dry season. Though the helmets do have face covers, if we did it again I think I’d recommend goggles and maybe a gaiter face mask.
Even with the dust, it was very cool to get off the beaten path and see a different side of Jaco. 100% would recommend the journey and riding with Denis!

The experience here was top notch, great customer service/check-in, newer facility with modern equipment & vehicles, and great staff. Our guide Justin was awesome...friendly, knowledgeable, found unexpected wildlife along the way for us to see & stop to take photos! We really loved the personalized attention we received & it was just the 2 of us on the ride (no large group). There were other groups there and they all seemed to get their own guides.

Wear clothes you can get dirty . Wear a bathing suit because swimming in the waterfall is a highlight . Our guide Will, was awesome . The pictures they take will cost you 40-50.00 so take your own .

Our guide was nice & friendly. The company started us with a safety video then our guide explains it farther. It was kinda nerve racking at the beginning & once you’re used to it, it is quite fun. The guide brought use to 2 waterfalls & gave us some time to enjoy it. He is also our private photographer & the photos turned out amazing. It’s definitely an unforgettable experience & highly recommended. We saw 2 toucans & a macaw during our ride. They were beautiful.

We had the best time! Will, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. The entire group was my family of four. We went to this amazing little swimming hole and jumped off the rocks. Will pointed out some toucans, which we were excited to see. My only recommendation, is if you take this tour and it’s the dry season, bring a Bali or a scarf to cover your mouth. Your face will get very dusty.
